  1. Leo is always saying that most of us won't reach enlightenment and that it's really really rare even for seekers to reach that state. Right now Im reading Jed Mckennas Spiritual Enlightenment: The Damnedest Thing and hes saying the same thing. I guess that most of us just dont have these crazy concentration abilities you need to succeed in this work. Furthermore I guess that most of us are lacking this crazy discipline and passion to reach enlightenment. I just want to be realistic here. Im really not a pessimistic or negative person, just want to objective here. I've noticed that many people on this forum (including me) are too naive and too "positive" when it comes to enlightenment. There are even many seekers out there who have these crazy concentration abilities, the extreme discipline and a thirst for truth and even they don't succeed. So what are our chances to get awakened? With our, I mean all the people, who arent really gifted spiritually or dont have any special abilities you need for this work. If its really that rare to reach enlightement, Im sometimes asking myself, why even pursuing it then? Again I dont want to sound negative or nihilistic here. Thanks for your answers
  2. So I want to improve my dating skills and want to pursue enlightenment at the same time. I dont want to do both at the same time. I want to pursue just one of them first and then the other. What order would be better ?I think that I would pursue enlightenment first and then after that dating. But maybe I might be too old by then to start improving my dating skills. Im currently 25 and I think the spiritual journey will take at leat 10 years. Thanks for your reply, appreciate it
  3. @Leo Gura What girl would be your ideal type, Leo? What does she has to have to be a 10 in your eyes?
  4. Through Enlightenment? Through Religion? Through Knowledge? Through Life Purpose? How can one achieve permanent inner Peace? Thanks a lot
  5. @WelcometoReality I haven't tried it, but that's a really good advice. Trying to implent it.
  6. Rest in Peace. Very sad and unexpected. His messages were always very wise and helpful.
  7. @Leo Gura Alright. Thanks for your answers:) Have a good day.
  8. Before I start chelation I first want to do a provoked urine test to see, whether chelation is necessary and how toxic I am. 1. Is it safe, if I use DMSA just one time for the provoked urine test or does it redistribute the heavy metals in the body and creates more harm than good? 2. What type of water should I drink, when I do the provoked urine test? Does it even matter, what type of water I am drinking? Thanks a lot
  9. @Leo Gura I would take DMPS after the provoked urine test because it wouldn't mess with my sleep schedule (every 8 hours would mean I dont have to wake up during the night).
  10. @Leo Gura Thanks for the help, Leo. May I ask you two last questions? Sorry for asking. I really dont want to bother you, but I think that your answers might help many other people, who have the same questions like me. 1. So do I need to take ALA if I do the post Urine test chelation (just one round)? and 2. Can I use DMSA for the Urine test and then DMPS for the post Urine test chelation round? Thanks a lot, Leo, appreciate your help.
  11. @Leo Gura But would'nt it be too much DMSA I would take that day? for the Urine test, about 1700mg and then again every 3 hours.
  12. @Leo Gura Should I wait one day after the provoked urine test or start immediately with the post- urine test chelation? so basically on the same day.
  13. @Leo Gura Ok thanks. Is there a way to not have to wake up during the night to take your DMSA and ALA? Can I just skip the night sessions and supplement after I wake up?
  14. So as far as I have understood hell refers to the ego-life and heaven would be the state of No-Self or God-Realization. But most people just dont seem to be that unhappy that they would say that their life is hell-like. Most people seem quite satisfied with life. So why is it then that the ego-state is referred to as hell in all the traditions? Thanks for alle the answers, Appreciate them. Peace.
  15. @Leo Gura There are many enlightened people, who found the truth, but they dont find themselves in a place of existential aloneness. Are they deluding themselves by thinking they have found the truth or have they found a way to find the truth without facing existential aloneness?
  16. I have read that there are many risks and dangers in taking DMSA, so why not just do the normal urine test without it? Is DMSA really that necessary? thanks
  17. Is it true that there is only my awakening? That I am the only one that can realize Truth/God? Is it true that nobodyelse can realize God, but just me? So it only depends on just me, whether God is realized or not? Why is it just me? Isn't it too much responsibility that only I can realize God?
  18. @Leo Gura So this direct experience Im having right now is the Only and One God?
  19. Almost all the people who I think are at SD Stage Yellow are really smart/intelligent. Do you think someone has to be that way in order to be on that Stage of the Spiral? Are there any "less intelligent" or average smart people, who are at that stage? Do you know any examples? Thank you
  20. @universe Because lets say yellow requires massive intelligence and intelligence is something that you are born with. So if you are not born with it that means that you cant reach yellow, no matter how hard you try.
  21. So Im making a list of my biases and Im trying to find out which ones are the most important to let go of. There are biases which are easy for me to let go of and then there are biases which are quite difficult to let go of. An easy bias to let go of would be the bias for specific type of music. I can listen to all kinds of music without attaching myself to one genre. Another bias that I try to let go of is the bias for my family and my friends. So next year Im moving out and with that I will be able to let go of that bias. I will also meet new people then, so my bias for my current friends will also be let go of. Of course I will still see my family and the friends I have here, but I have to learn to let them go and not attach myself so much to them. A bias that is difficult for me to let go of, would be my bias for enlightenment. That will be quite difficult. My bias towards women (as a heterosexual man) is another bias that will be difficult to let go of, but with practice I can open myself more and more to the other sex. Other biases of mine are: bias for health, bias for comfort, bias for the status quo and bias for entertainment (entertaining myself with YouTube-videos for example). What do you guys think, are the most important biases that someone can let go of that will bring them closer to god/absolute reality? thanks, appreciate your answers
  22. @cetus Because Im still a student and I can still live at home. Next year im graduating and then I will move out. I try to enjoy the time with my family and friends here.
  23. @Leo Gura I mean, people who can think in complex ways, have to be intelligent. Their IQ is definitely above average, dont you think so? Do you know Tier 2-thinker who you wouldnt consider as being smart/intelligent?
  24. Hello An egoic desire is for example wanting to live unconditionally happy, wanting to experience real peace, wanting to escape suffering, wanting to experience the highest joy etc. I know, that in the end you have to drop all these things because you will realize that the ego is an illusion and likewise all these egoic desires. But these desires can give someone the motivation to meditate hardcore, to work with psychedelics, to do hardcore retreats etc. Because without hardcore practice you wont ever awaken. And in my opinion, if these desires can bring someone to meditate hardcore, then they can be valid motivations towards awakening. What do you think? I think it is valid to trick the ego with these desire to do the spiritual practices and before the ego actually realizes that it is going to die, it will be to late to go back because awakening will destroy it.
