  1. I've never been told that. I just believe the Cubans who migrated to the United States when they say that communism is a plague and that they'll never go back to Cuba. You should LOVE the United States of America. You should guard it. You should be grateful that such a country exists. It's a beacon of hope for humanity. I'm from Romania. My parents lived under communism. When I hear their stories and what happened to their friends, I'm horrified.
  2. Okay. I am considering that. On the other hand, I'm seeing that Capitalism works. I see that Capitalism is grounded in reality. I also see that the US is a prosperous country. Take a look at Venezuela when it allowed Capitalism. Take a look at Venezuela now.
  3. Here's an excerpt from an article I was reading on Townhall: Thoughts?
  4. I'm not driven by ideology, Leo! When you're telling me something, I don't dismiss what you're saying. I always start from the premise that you might be right or wrong. In some cases, you're right. It doesn't hurt my ego to admit that. And I myself could be right or wrong. Besides that, you could take me seriously when I tell people that Spiral Dynamics stages aren't entirely true. When I make a statement like this, you shouldn't dismiss it but find more information about it. What if I'm right?
  5. @Leo Gura, you're wrong. They have in fact a sense of collective responsibility. Capitalism is a problem-solving system. It allows competition. Only those who build highly needed quality products survive in the long run. People like Elon Musk are constantly solving problems. I would love to have a Tesla. Not to forget to mention people like Steve Jobs or Jeff Bezos. I love my iPhone. I love my Kindle app. These are byproducts of people who care about humanity. "There are two kinds of companies, those that work to try to charge more and those that work to charge less. We will be the second." - Jeff Bezos Even the small restaurant owner is solving a problem. Even though I'm not crazed about socializing, I enjoy going to a restaurant with my friends, enjoying a good meal while we're talking about life. I even work in a restaurant. I don't want to hurt your feelings or dismiss your teachings but in my opinion, it's a tremendous mistake for a person to perceive the world through the lens of Spiral Dynamic stages.
  6. Big Tech must be held accountable. Parler is no longer available. We must find out who was involved in censoring the president of the United States. And find out who were the ones who put the pressure on Twitter and Facebook to ban Trump. Parler is gone. Why? It won't end well. America will prevail.
  7. Yes. That's exactly what they're doing. They spend all day thinking about strategies for disinformation. They can't sleep well at night until they write a lie. Their main purpose in life is to lie. It's part of their plans. Breitbart is Pravda.
  8. You're totally against my ideas, that's what I conclude here. My response somehow bothered you. You think I'm wrong. You actually believe you're right. Ohh! You think you are right. But are you? Are you right? You, the one who sees my response, you, the noble guy. You, the one who thinks clearly and knows the truth. * "I am everything that's wrong with this world. A deluded guy that stands with Trump." I'll stop being sarcastic. On the other hand, I quoted a left-wing "news" website so I can't be dismissed by those who are on the left. That's why. When I post something that's from Breitbart news, the left calls me a right-wing individual or an extremist. Now you understand why I posted a CNBC article.
  9. This is why I'll never be on the left: Even Merkel realizez the danger here. I have so many things to say but I will keep my mouth shut. The left is now suppressing dissent.
  10. When you're smoking weed, be conscious of your neurosis. Be conscious of your anxiety. Be a simple spectator that tries to understand that anxiety. Train yourself not to be bothered by the feeling of anxiety you experience when you're high. A few hours of mindfulness meditation on a daily basis in combination with concentration exercises can heal your brain chemistry. Be aware of the Dark Night of the Soul if you choose this path.
  11. Weed can be a great tool for development. Why? It reveals your psychotic tendencies. It amplifies your neurosis. You had a difficult childhood, didn't you?
  12. Yes. Those who entered Capitol Hill illegally must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Some of them are Trump supporters indeed, others are not. A few of them were ANTIFA members; you can find footage on the internet and see that a handful of Trump supporters tried to stop them from entering Capitol Hill. What we need to punish is bad human behavior. We have laws for that, Leo. Because of a few bad apples, we shouldn't be against conservativism and try to silence people like Candace Owens. We shouldn't equate them with neo-Nazis. Democracy is functional only when both sides are engaging in dialogue. A lot of the Trump supporters voted for Obama, twice.
  13. @Leo Gura, with all due respect, most conservatives are not driven by hate, racism, xenophobia, or outlandish conspiracy theories. Any group has bad apples in it, okay? And it's not fair to stereotype a group of people just because they have a different worldview than yours. You might think that Spiral Dynamics is the ultimate truth and a framework for understanding the dynamic forces at work in human affairs; I think otherwise. I'll tell you why. Human nature is not disposable. We know that it's the primary force for evolution. It is fair to say that human beings are mainly driven and governed by their emotions. Without them, we wouldn't be here today. And it's also fair to say that human beings are not rational. Only a naive person would think otherwise. Just because we can attain rationality, that doesn't mean we're fundamentally rational. To believe that someday we're all gonna be at the Turquoise stage is simply Utopian. It won't happen. Look at the percentage of people who are truly developed today. Contrary, we're living in a world full of traumatized people. It's the lack of multigenerational love that's problematic. All the problems in the world stem from human nature in combination with the lack of parental love. When you understand this, all Spiral Dynamics stages simply collapse; you finally get to see how superficial they are. Ask yourself a question, Leo: how many people in the modern world will ever reach your level of understanding? How many people will ever go through the intense process you somehow managed to go through? Contemplate this. Come up with an answer. You should perhaps force yourself to understand human nature and admit that you might sometimes be wrong. Even those presumably wise people who write books about Spiral Dynamics and consciousness could be wrong when it comes to societal evolution. We're human beings.
  14. What the hack guys... Exactly what I was thinking about today.
  15. I don't see my job as something "authoritarian" that's somehow exploiting me. I prefer to have a job because I get to interact with my fellow human beings. I enjoy working and studying human behavior. And it pays me for the work I'm doing. I also like to take my social skills to the next level. I'm working in a restaurant as a waiter which allows me to practice my social skill. Having a job taught me how to be disciplined and embrace work. Do you know? Work is a noble thing. You learn to serve others. A job can not be by its very nature exploitative because you're the one who's choosing that job. Nobody forces you to get a job. Capitalism certainly doesn't. Socialism spends what capitalism creates. If you have a thirst for other people's money, I suggest you develop yourself properly and become independent. Money has to be earned. Take @Leo Gura's example. He made it because he struggled to master his mind. He did everything possible to develop himself in order to reach this level of understanding. Capitalism allows you to solve societal problems by opening up a conscious business that's beneficial to others. But for that, you have to acquire skills.
  16. Although I truly respect what Leo's work, I don't have to align with @Leo Gura's perspective on this. We all have the power to think for ourselves. 'Reason' is a great tool when it comes to reaching an objective conclusion. Some ideas work. Some not. My tool for 'accurately perceiving reality' is observation. Observation is a skill that must be cultivated on a daily basis. It's the only way that leads to perceiving reality accurately.
  17. I agree. Capitalism is not the problem, crony capitalism is. When people like Jeff or Zuck play the game unfairly, they must be held accountable. The tech sector does indeed suffer from abuses of "monopoly power," the subcommittee concluded in the mammoth 450-page report (PDF) published late yesterday afternoon. "As they exist today, Apple, Amazon, Google, and Facebook each possess significant market power over large swaths of our economy. In recent years, each company has expanded and exploited their power of the marketplace in anticompetitive ways," Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and antitrust subcommittee Chairman David Cicilline (D-R.I.) said in a joint statement. "Our investigation leaves no doubt that there is a clear and compelling need for Congress and the antitrust enforcement agencies to take action that restores competition, improves innovation, and safeguards our democracy." Here's the whole article.
  18. These ideas are essential for a healthy, functional society. Without them, you wouldn't be able to go to the moon.
  19. No. I don't mind being called a racist. Even if it's unfair. I want them to have the right to call me how they want. Only a deluded person would call me a racist. If somebody tries to insult me, that's their problem. I'm not that sensible when it comes to insults. On the other hand, I want to be able to sue those who try un unfairly defame me.
  20. There's nothing wrong with being a classical liberal. You simply want others to live prosperous lives. You want them to have liberty and be happy. That's all. And I'm not even serving any ideology. I like good ideas like capitalism, freedom of speech, and liberty.
  21. He should be kept in prison. Jsut so you know, I'm not in favor of letting terrorists on our social media platforms. We all have common sense.
  22. Thank you! That's why I love to be part of this amazing community. We don't have to hate each other because we have different views on politics. What unites us here is consciousness. We have to make the world a better place. That includes involvement and taking action through example, not by force. I don't want to impose my views on people. I just want to clarify where we differ. I prefer clarity over agreement. If somebody insults you, you don't have to take it personally. We have laws for most of these unlawful acts.
  23. I believe Elon Musk is on our side because he told Americans that they shouldn't give up their liberties so easily. He was referring to the inhumane (COVID-19) measures that were exclusively taken in left-wing states. We found out that the COVID-19 lockdowns had a huge impact on mental health. It led to countless suicides, even among children. And it didn't flatten the curve. Liberty is a God-given right. If it comes from the government, it can be taken away. We must ensure that people remain free.
  24. Rape is always wrong; we have laws against it. Any rapist must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. On the other hand, I want the left to speak freely, without being censored or suspended from Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter for that matter. I also want the right to speak freely, without having their accounts suspended from social media. We must ensure that every individual speaks freely, even if they talk non-sense. I'm not a conservative. I call myself a classical liberal. If it were up to me, I would never suppress free speech. I can see the difference between a leftist and a conservative: 1. A conservative never seeks to censor the left; even the far-left. 2. The normal leftists are calling for the suspension of conservative pundits. That's reality. My suggestion is to let the other side speak freely. When somebody lies, call him out but don't silence him. It will only get worse.
