  1. It has been said that the highest wisdom lies in detachment, or, in the words of Chung-Tzu, ‘The perfect man/woman employs his or her mind as a mirror; it grasps nothing; it refuses nothing; it receives, but does not keep.’ This is similar to what I’m talking about. If it helps?
  2. I feel as long as thought continues to move in its conditioned manner “in reaction and response to the content of its consciousness, the knower/known” it will inevitably project all that onto the experience of now. So if this movement of thought pursist experience will be determined by past knowledge, past experience, by memory or recollection. So the known being the accumulation of knowledge through memory will influence and pre determine each experience as it arises. So the only way for this to not happen is for the cessation of that accumulation of knowledge from manifesting in the first place. So thought would have to cease the recording and so on to actually observe without the observer. If there is that movement in motion of thought recording then in that case the known has projected the old onto the new. So thought “memory, knowledge, experiences” being static “old” will be projected forward and placed upon the present moment “dynamic” or “new” as experience. Therfore the newness is not new but an extension of the old. If that movement of thought doesnt take place you have a direct experience as i and @nahm have talked about before. Question we have to ask oursleves is, is the old being imposed covering up the new. Because if there is no old “known” being carried over there can be a creative, dynamic experience “newness”...a seeing with fresh eyes so to speak. ?
  3. So we might want to use truth as independent of throught. As a perception without “res” “things” If conciousness that is conditioned ceases to manifest itself the content of ones consciousness would empty and therfore “things” cease to exist. Thats one way of looking at it. So we can walk together. It seems this way might be easier to talk about this with in general with people who perhaps are not familiar with this stuff.
  4. @Principium Nexus check into those questions I presented. It’s interesting. Pretty cool ?
  5. I but Im using reality in the sense that what thought touches on, thinks about, reflects about. I think that is what “res” came from right? Things are only of thought “thinks” Anything that thought is involved with basically.
  6. Sure That point of Total attention when the observer doesn’t interfere with what is being communicated. Nice??
  7. ?? This is why it’s very important to understand how experience comes about. What is experience? How does experience come about? Do ‘you’ experience? These are important to go into. As far as ending the movement of time. Or seeing what is. Check it out
  8. You can’t describe reality. That’s the point. Seems people use reality as in the sense of objective reality. Which is not reality. It’s only thinking about what that “reality or truth” might be. So when one uses “res” it’s talking about reality as in perception through consciousness. The conditioned mind. Or the content of ones conciousness. As in duality, fragmentation, and psychological time and so on. Its just a different way of explaining in order to get perhaps a clearer understanding with one anohter. You have never considered thinking about it this way?
  9. Has anyone seen the word reality as meaning “res” ”things” Therfore of thought. i think using reality in in that way will lead to a better consensus in the discussion or what is as distinct from what is thought about or reflected upon.
  10. Hehe Observe what is with undivided awareness. Bruce Lee
  11. Fear of fear and seeking security from fear causing more fear. ?
  12. I left it at cessation of time for a reason ?
  13. Indeed @Nahm Total Humility is opening a door to a different dimension so to speak. If the movement of knowing ends “which is the reaction and response to fear” the self/knower will start to dissolve. This is the cessation of the movement of time.
  14. It’s centerlessness/ and all is center simultaneously.
  15. The beauty is that is not a state. The joy is there is no meaning. This is a truly creative movement “new” because there is no you “the knower/known” ?
  16. In actual meditation there is no such movement.
  17. Meditation in itself doesn’t cause suffering. It’s particiaption in meditation as means to end suffering that actully causes and proliferates suffering. To escape into mechanical routine “habit to attain psychological security” in order to end suffering is to escape what is “insecurity/suffering” to an idea “security/non-suffering” Moving towards the idea and evading the fact inevitably causes suffering. This is classic resistance. Any movement to attain and maintain psychological security is an invitation to insecurity.. In this there is the prepetual conflict between what is actully happening and what you desire to happen....Its like a dog chasing its tail. Around and around one goes. ⭕️
  18. When I get a second today I will send you something on fragmentation. And i I never went to school thank heavens hehe Your better off hehe ?
  19. Hehe tricksters? This may be a very subtle form of selfishness. Heaven is filled with isolated spirits?
  20. @Tearos Is your meditation participation another form of pleaseure?
  21. Well suffering will disguise itself in the form of repetitive pleasure seeking. A mechanical movement to capture and maintain psychological security. To escape suffering leads to pleasure and to indulge in pleasure leads to suffering. Hehe ⭕️
  22. Hehe It’s ok. I reset back to square one ever minute? That’s the beauty of being aware of time in all its subtle forms. Every minute is anew. Plus I have no interest is communicating enlightenment as that cannot be done. I like to communicate the necessity/significance of awareness to the movement of thought. ?
  23. The root is seeking psychological security. Which is turn makes physical insecurity for the whole. Fragmentation in movement.
