  1. Resilience indeed. That is intelligent action.
  2. First of all unless we are free of the conditioned mind ‘ACTUALLY’ we are the body/mind. To say anything else is an idea that you heard somewhere and you have adopted it to bring about a false sense of security. Conforming to the body/mind pattern is weakness. Resilience is gained by not demanding psychological security. To be a holistic gangster And True Compassion is the result of the ending of weakness/fear.
  3. @SoothedByRain The understanding of the parts to see the whole. This is fundamental in understanding the nature of time/self. When one sees how all the movements of thought interrelate and interdepend one can view the entire movement of the ‘center/self’ holistically. Which is what it takes to end the movement of time.
  4. I don’t concern myself with it at all. They may not understand but I don’t get involved in that anyhow. I just give subtle hints through how I conduct myself. I live in a small city and am surrounded by people. Inward loneliness/seclusion allows for space to live a orderly life. But one does not have to escape to a cave. That is simply another positive manifestation of self. If one has to escape to live life as an art then one has missed the point all together. There is the solitude that one seeks to escape thought which leads one absolutely nowhere and there is the inward loneliness/solitude that one maintains by ending the movement of thought all together. There is a big difference. I am alone/in solitude inwardly which allows for me to be space for another face, so to speak ?
  5. This idea ‘of thought’ of enlightenment/liberation that is commonly sought after “grasped for” is precisely the very reason one never gets it. One can spend ones whole life chasing/grasping for not realizing that the very grasping for is the barrier itself. All that movement of self must end. Movement of self can not end the movement of self. Time can not end time. Enlightened “whole action” is not the result of practice. Practice is a movement of cultivation “thought” and is conditioned. To cultivate is to invite time as a means to end the self. Again the self cannot end by cultivation of time/thought. This strengthens self even more and causes a plethora of neurosis. Indeed. Enlightened or intelligent action is only when all movement of thought/measure ends. Those qualities do not come from any type of mental cultivation which includes all practices, methods, and systems “time” ...As those imply that one is still acting according to the conditioned movement of mind. Time ‘being finite’ can only see partially and therefore cannot end time. Only a whole action ‘timeless action’ can end time. To end time ‘the movement of thought/self’ is the action of TRUTH. Only Truth which is ‘immeasurable/timeless’ or NO-thing ‘total perception’ can see the whole of time and end it. The essence “truth” acts instantly without the limited/finite movement of thought. Truth sees the whole of thought. This is where wisdom comes from. Wisdom= to see Wisdom is the exposition of TRUTH Action not influenced by the static movement of time/thought. That’s why those qualities are instantaneous/complete.
  6. Simple. Action from the perception of that very movement. Usualy we act according to the movement/pattern of thought/self. But for there to be intelligent action “whole” not fragmented that movement of time “thought” must end. Usually the pattern is thought and then action. But in this case the perception is the action. Thought is dualistic, fragmentated, and so on. We know this. So when we act according to thought any action is the same. But the action of total perception is not influenced by thought. If there is no thought determining the action division, confusion, and contradiction doesn’t enter in as action. Therfore action is whole, complete, and this is what enlightened action implies.
  7. If there are conditions in relationship there is no real relationship. If there are conditions in love there is no love. This then becomes a movement of depending on others to satisfy and validate our own sense of self.
  8. If we are attatched to ourselves we will inevitably be attached to other.
  9. I see but this is a movement of attachment Very subtle. Do you see it?
  10. This is my point. Find the the movement/motive to attain, accomplish, seek happiness and so on. Then when we see the truth of that intention/motive we understand every action we take is a movement of ego. Ego will hide behind the idea that it is not ego. This is all a movement of thought. The movement of thought is defensive and self serving. Thought in relationship is actually not a relationship at all.
  11. If one invites the movement of measure into relationship with oneself and other hate is inevitable. This is very important to understand. If one has children this is the most important thing to get across.
  12. Goes much deeper than that. The intention to attain liberation prevents you from becoming liberated. Understand why you want to become liberated and then ask how that very motive prevents actual relationship/love with any body.
  13. To me to understand why one wants to be enlightened should be explored first. Then one may find that to form a habit to stop another habit is rather contradicting. And not very liberating after all. I think one should learn there own true motives, tendencies, patterns, and there connections with one another. To understand ones own movement in daily life honestly and without fear pressuring one into various forms of neurosis. Every thing is simple and beautiful when one lives life as an art.
  14. @cirkussmile That’s right. Relationship in general.
  15. @littleBIG I understand. Yeah examining your thoughts can be done just by examining the nature of thought itself. In that you will discover all about yourself “Beliefs and so on”...instead of examining thoughts you will examine to the whole of the stream of thought itself. Very efficient. Also this stress pretty much ends all together. You won’t have to “habitually meditate” at all. You will be in a constant state of meditation/attention. Free of thoughts shackles. You don’t need to participate in “habitual meditation” to do any of this. Inquire into the nature of thought. In that I think you will a significant change. If that’s what you want of course.
  16. @littleBIG Why did you want to meditate in the first place? And why not walk meditating? What are you trying to accomplish with this meditation habit?
  17. @ZZZZ That’s ending a crucial aspect of time “movement of thought” by you having that perception. Your seeing thoughts pattern at work. Awareness?? Thats great ?
  18. @cirkussmile Freedom from conditioned mind does make for much greater/healthier family life
  19. Indeed discrimination makes it worse Its another movement in duality? dont mind my post earlier. It just falls out of me. Hehe i don’t know what my friend @Nahmtold you anyway. I just responded to your last post?
  20. Too much free time?!? NO SUCH THING
  21. The general consensus of sensitive behavior is actually the result of insensitivity. Very great topic again @MarkusSweden. I don’t really get involved with general terms such as ‘HSP’...I like to observe my own inner workings and absurve others instead. Though it seems HSP symptoms might be a result of insensitivity. I guess it depends on the reason these symptoms/mannerisms are expressed.
