@MM1988 I fully understand your question and I'm pondering the same. My only answer is your awareness is directed into your body and away from your mind but yes, we could do this is with any sports, snooker, football, weight lifting etc. But what I have found PERSONALLY (and I hope this helps) is yoga has DEFINITELY released blocked emotions in chakras, some particular postures I've come out of crying, I've felt a wave of sadness and just began crying, or even laughing, hysterically! -
@Light Lover What may work for us/me, may not work for you but I thought I'd throw my two cents in. I transitioned to a vegan diet and lifestyle say around 4 month's ago, I fast for 23 hours a day and in the evening I cook a fresh plant based meal (I'm working at cutting the oils out), I'm working on buying a food processor to help me transition to a more wholefoods plant based diet (as a lot of recipes require one). My typical evening meal would contain spices, fresh herbs, chickpeas, wild rice, red rice, sprouted grain bread (on occasions), curries, stir frys (brown rice noodles) and shit loads of vegetables. I recommend giving 'How not to die' book a read followed by the cookbook. Good luck friend, keep us posted ?

@Shin watch This guy is actually on here so throw him some questions, forget his name ?

Any ideas how to help the absorption of iron? Please ??

I watched this last night and found it very interesting. I highly recommend. The adverts on the stream are ridiculous though but worth the watch (talks about grain's/gluten/alkaline states/plant based diet)

@pluto Thank you so much Pluto for your help ? I did take 4 spirulina this morning and found I felt much more awake, wether that's because I had a good sleep or not I'm not sure but I definitely felt more focused and alert so early in the morning. @Michael569 Also Michael, thank you. I'll give them a shot and update. I'll purchase some now ?
-
@Michael569 Just low iron, they were checking me for hereditary hemochromatosis believe it or not and found they were actually low. @RabbitHole I read somewhere that there is something in spinach that actually blocks the absorption of the iron @Feel Good I bought them and then decided against them when I read the ingredients, full of bulking agents ? I'll go and buy some 100% iron water @pluto Thanks dude! I have some spirulina in the kitchen but I remember micheal saying something about it isn't all its cracked up to be ? I'll look into the probiotics also, thanks so much ?

But deep down I do have a belief that I suck at maths, I actually have a slight fear of it (ego's finest work) ?
-
@kieranperez Thanks for the recommendation ? @Lynnel totally get what your saying, appreciate your reply. It's not such a deep belief as such, it's actually that "I'm not good at maths as an adult because I wasn't at school" I observed my mind in maths class and I'm absolutely flabbergasted at ego on that particular day. Through internal dialogue at me like "your the dumbest one in this class" "you don't belong in this level of maths class" it really tried to single me out ??

@Lynnel what do you mean? ?

I start college on Tuesday. I'll be starting right at the bottom, studying maths and English GCSEs (what I should of gained in high school). i want to go on and study wildlife conservation. Animal welfare is close to my heart. BUT I do wonder if what I want to persue is selfish!? On the surface I want to help animals for their sake but strip away the BS and look deeper, it's actually for my sake, so they don't suffer which will in turn make ME feel better and cause less suffering. I know this truth and it leaves an uncomfortable feeling inside like "is my LP a con". I've decided to not have children, my legacy will be the animals and their babies that will hopefully go on to live a happy and healthy life. The environment and the earth will also benefit. This LP is close to my heart but this feeling of selflessness is not sitting right with me. What would you do? What do people actually do? I mean is actualized.org for the benefit of the people ONLY and not Leo? Is all our life purposes for the sake of other wholeheartedly??

@RabbitHole thanks for your reply. Amazing perspective ? @kieranperez I actually fully agree, thanks for the reminder. Your absolutely right. The questions I've asked are answers I need to derive for myself and in turn will have a bigger more impactful meaning. I will contemplate on this Kieran, thank you my good man ?

@NoSelfSelf very true. Thank you. Wildlife conservation is conserving wildlife and their habitat @Haumea2018 very true thank you @Torkys Yes Torkys your right, imagining not doing anything whatsoever feels completely wrong, thanks for the alternative perspective. @Emne ? @Feel Good Is he balls ? Will you post a link to the video please? I tried to find it again but lost it. @Emerald Amazing reply emerald! Thank you ? (keep up the good work with the videos, I love them). @Sunil Kumar Your also right, thank you. Thank you very much all. Completely changed my perspective ??

I understand it can be totally confusing but I'm just going to echo what everyone else has already said basically. Trial and error, cultivating enough awareness within your body to know what serves you and what doesn't. I know I've eaten well when I feel like I've had what I call 'an internal shower' I just feel on top of the world.

I'm going to give the same answer as @WelcometoReality and say that boredom is an escape of the present moment. We're always looking for something to occupy our minds, always searching for stimulation in one way or another, boredom can even bring on frustration and feelings of anger because you NEED TO ESCAPE being. Don't. Sit with it and observe what you are trying to escape from? -

@phoenix666 Yeah unfortunately not but never mind ? that was my last real life close friend, I officially have zero now. I'm not too bothered though, our energies no longer match and I'm peaceful with that -
@robdl so sneaky and deceptive!!
-
I think Leo is well chilled. He has a serious approach to this work, I take that as passion. I also pick up his comedic side which I LOVE.

My friend today asked me "Okay, Charlotte, talk to me about your journey then?" I explained and I somehow feel our friendship is over after the comments he gave me. You outgrow people. I agree with @Rilles -
Thank you @Salvijus I know yes! I feel very lucky. I'll be attending for 3 hours a week practice Glad you've also found your practice ? I also love Yoga ?
