  1. I have a dude who is living in my house and he just seems to be woke as fuck. He meditates all fuckin day like a champ but has no clue what he wants to do in life. He comes from Nepal, so he has eastern dogma stuck with him so he completely dismisses psychedelics and other western teachings (even leo) but he seems to have really good understanding on the practices he does on a daily basis. I meditate with him everyday and listen to what he has to say. He has lots of knowledge but im afraid to call him out on his dogma which might back fire on me. So I dont know if he's my mentor but i've definitely been taught alot by him.
  2. I haven't understood what anxiety is in my direct experience but I have had friends who have conquered anxiety with a few psychedelic trips. Specially if you've been doing the "homework" then you have experiences you cannot even imagine in your hands. You want the truth? you might be able to handle it for a few hours
  3. I just started my lucid journey and its pretty tough in the beginning. I would recommend you to forget about lucid dreaming and just focus on what you actually dream about every night. Write your dreams on a journal everyday and just train your dream recall muscle. I've had about 2 - 3 lucid dreams in the last years when I was really into them but it fell back because I stopped doing the journals. Once you're in a dream, and you become aware that you're in a dream, only thing that will wake you up is if you cant keep your calm. I always woke up from my lucid dreams because I would get super excited once i realized im in one and thats how it went for all my dreams. So diet is definitely a big part, daily mindfulness and perseverance to write your dreams down every morning.

  6. I dont really know about breads but for replacing pasta, you can find red lentil pasta, chickpea pasta, Shirataki Noodles. There is a plant based substitute for almost everything, either you can carefully scan the ingredients label, or start becoming a scientist at home with wholesome non wheat products. Infinite Foods.
  7. stopped smoking weed before sleep so i've had intense dreams for about a week i've been writing my dreams on my common place. I haven't been aware of my dreams for about 3-4 years. I've heard that dreams can give a lot of insights and vision if interpreted correctly. Any of you guys have a dream journal? If so have you gotten better at remembering dreams and is it easier to access lucid dreams? just wondering happy now!
  8. @Slade ;-; gluten, dairy, sugar nd fat
  9. @Courtney What i've realized is that i cannot escape negative thinking by thinking more. Whenever a negative thought arises, i've noticed that there is always a subtle uncomfortable sensation in the body like pain, itch, or just any discomfort and I've also noticed that I am reacting to the subtle sensation by negative thinking although at the moment It feels like its justified self talk, not me reacting to a discomfort. I dont know if that made any sense but i would recommend you to pay attention to your breath whenever you're in a loop of negative thoughts. Your respiration is your best tool because you can always shift your awareness to whats true on your direct experience. The ego dies everytime you focus on whats directly true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPUWdhHDKS4

  11. The Container contains itself
  12. @Nahm bro quit talking to yourself
  13. @Nahm I am you telling me you are me and you are me listening to you telling you are me
  14. @Nahm Whats more amazing is that literally everybody has the ability to what I experienced. Really shows that even though we're in deep shit with society, these kinds of mystical experiences are still possible to hvave. Also it all hit me when it was just starting to hit and I thought "I am so grateful for this experience, Thank you" and then i realized I was thanking myself then BOOOM
  15. i used to try to meditate in the past, but i dont need to try it now. I dont need to manipulate anything because I am already letting go, connected permanently to what is and never trying to run away from reality bc where can reality run to from itself.
  16. '"How selfless are you capable of being? it all boils down to this. I honestly have no idea how you might be emotionally feeling but here can be one of your biggest opportunity for growth in life. i would think that as years go by you would have that guilt sticking around if you dont see him, specially if you got traces of compassion arising right now. however, if you decide to face the suffering of life head on, open yourself up to this experience regardless of what that means to your identity and end your whole life's worth of unconscious trauma then you will truly gain something that I myself cannot even imagine, Open mindedness is the way to go, whatever that means for you.
  17. @Truth Addict Well yeah like i said there's degrees to this "problem". Our very infrastructure of life is built on beliefs. You're here in this website because you believe something. Im typing because I also believe something. Its a circularity you cannot escape, only can become aware of it. So it all boils down to how much energy you spend defending or condemning beliefs. Your theoretical understanding will transcend into direct experience the more you do this work but until then work on your meta beliefs. I.e look back at what you typed.. "beliefs aren't totally bad" "We NEED beliefs" "i honestly dont feel anything special" can you see that all these distinctions are based on some beliefs you hold under the surface level of your mind? We are all Materialists and doing this work is contradictory and paradoxical af. it couldn't be any other way my guy so the lesson is (for me anyways) is to laugh it off and look forward for more laughters
  18. @Charlotte also in addition to that you might want to try cold showers if you want a immediate practice step. So much shit comes up when you consciously choose to turn that knob to cold and facing the suffering head on. It will leave you a stronger person every time you get out the shower.
  19. @Charlotte Pay attention to your breath when you're going through this emotional suffering. You'll find that your breath becomes slightly faster or harsher. You might not have control over how you're feeling in the body but you can always slowly regulate your breath and return it to its normal pace. This might take a looot of emotional labor at the moment of your "anxiety" attack but give yourself time to step back and just breathe without overthinking or worrying about what the other person might think. Helps me lot when im meditating and some nasty impurities come to the surface and im overwhelmed on the verge of a emotional outbursts. hope this helped (:
  20. build awareness. Everything is beliefs if taken to that degree however maintaining mindfulness moment to moment and becoming conscious of the fact that the only thing thats true for you in your direct experience is your bodily sensations. If you rationalize concepts using concepts all you're doing is running away from truth.
