  1. It's currently in stage III clinical trials to test effectiveness in large sample sizes. The stage II trials convincingly showed efficacy in a small sample size, no they need to show effectiveness before advancing to stage IV clinical trials. Stage III trials generally take 2-4 years. At stage IV, MDMA will be allowed in clinical settings by psychologists and psychiatrists in the U.S. Yet, they will undergo a lot more regulation and reporting than traditional methods. During stage IV, people will start hearing about MDMA therapy and know people that are going through it. Stage IV will take a few more years. With positive stage IV results, the therapy will become mainstream therapy.
  2. Once suggestion for every theory you have for homosexuality, see if it also holds true for heterosexuality. You say ""Homosexual men are attracted to feminine men because they have repressed their heterosexuality because they are afraid of girls or hate girls" So flip the statement "Heterosexual men are attracted to masculine women because they have repressed their homosexuality because they are afraid of guys or hate guys" Do you think this statement is true?
  3. Yes, I understand that perspective. I grew up in a Christian home and that is what I was taught as well. That describes a separate, external god. That there is "me" and a god that is separate from me. From this perspective, it would be very egotistcal and pathological for me to say that I am that separate god. What we are describing here is a very different perspective. If you let go of everything you have been taught about god, what remains? Just sit and observe. If any thoughts about "this is god" arise, just let them go for now. You can reclaim them later. When all thoughts about what god is dissolve, there simply is what IS. There is One interconnected Everything. When we say "I am god", it is not the personal self. Rather, it is the One Self. Everything is God. You, me, the table, clouds, trees etc.
  4. @isabel The psychological self tend to live in insecurity and focus on the negative. Focusing on the positive can relax the person and allow for a more pleasant mind-body experience. You mentioned tolle and spira - yet I see them as post-personal teachers. Imo, Lisa Cairns is the best at integrating awakening and personal development. She is very heart-centered and often talks about how to develop a loving, healthy personal self as we awaken.
  5. Are those things "self-sacrifice"? It seems like they are self-empowerment. I think of self-sacrifice of sacrificing myself for others. For example, I don't want to become a priest, yet my community wants me to become a priest. So, I sacrifice myself and become a priest for the community.
  6. When the constructs of past and future dissolve Everything is Now. @cetus56 Yes, so beautiful. There is a Dark Sky Park not too far from me. It's amazing.
  7. For me, it boils down to need-based seeking. I subconsciously feel incomplete and desire that the relationship will bring a sense of wholeness - which it will never do because I am seeing separation (me and her). The deeper realization is that I am already whole in every moment Now. Yet, that takes a lot of work to embody. I'm still working toward it. I have had glimpses into dynamics in relationships that are not need-based and they are beyond magnificent. Yet, it's rare two such beings come together.
  8. There are many layers of awareness. You may have had direct experience of an "observer + object" conscious state in which their is detached observation of one's own thoughts. Yet, the ego often steps in and claims ownership of the observer and identifies with it - which muddies the picture.
  9. From a relative dualistic perspective, yes. That will be the subjective experience of the psychological self. From an absolute perspective, no. It's all One Everything. Trans-egoic and egoic impulses are all God. It's all within Everything. There is no thing that is not Everything.
  10. @Miavono You are actually thinking this through too much. The answer is so simple that the intellectual mind will not accept it. It is so simple, it becomes highly challenging for the mind to embody. Embodiment of this realization is necessary to dissolve subconscious and conscious beliefs of an objective external reality. Simply put. . . Absolute Infinity is Everything. That's it. No more conceptualization is necessary. Yet the mind will not accept this, so I'll make a couple more points. . . If there is one Everything, then any thing is within Everything. Every object, every emotion, every thought, every concept - everything. There is nothing outside of everything. As soon as the mind tries to create something outside of everything or something beyond Everything, it is immediately Everything. Whatever laws or non-laws you can conceive of is within Everything. It's so simple, yet so sneaky deep. My intellectual mind struggled with it for many years before it finally surrendered to this truth. There is no escape from Everything.
  11. "The Next Wave of Extremists Will Be Green" A common perspective of Orange.
  12. @GabeN you is a concept You are God One is the psychological self, the other is post-self.
  13. It’s not about believing me or anyone else. It’s about your own direct experience, not what anyone has told you. That’s why I suggested going prior to all the ideas and see what exists in your own experience
  14. @Outer I know it’s crazy. Cannibis sched 1 and xanax sched 4 ?
  15. @Highest It’s amazing https://www.leafly.com/indica/forbidden-fruit
  16. I can’t remember the last time I tripped. Maybe two months ago? My baseline level is now close enough to Turquoise that I’m in striking distance without psyches.
  17. @Highest Forbidden fruit is my favorite strain for relaxed nondual states
  18. Those are the studies I wish would happen. They are easy experiments and I predict will yield fascinating results. Yet the stupid sched. 2 designation makes it nearly impossible for researchers to do the research.
  19. @Highest You've been venturing in some cool realms lately.
  20. I watched several of his enlightenment course video and I get the sense he has had Turquoise-level awakening experiences and insights. Yet I also get the sense he is still maturing. Turquoise can be expressed differently through different mind-bodies. Especially if there is some orange/green residue mixed in. Lately, I've been getting in tune with Turquoise devilry. There is much more going on in Turquoise than I imagined. It's a whole nother world where few humans reside. Yet those that do and walk the earth have different forms.
  21. Surrendering to the realization that egoic free will is an illusion is part of evolving to post-egoic conscious states. Once I hit post-egoic states, the desire to explore the nature of free-will dissolved. There is a much stronger desire to enter post-egoic states. From a post-egoic perspective let's explore new realms. I don't care if we call it egoic decisions, infinite decisions, a hamster or a cartwheel. There is a calling to enter the magnificence of post-egoic being. For me, falling asleep is a good analogy. When I lay down in bed, if the personal ego is active the mind will stay awake, immersed in the personal story. "I should have done XX at work. If she hadn't said blah blah, then yabber yabber wouldn't have happened". To leave the egoic state of consciousness and enter a new state of consciousness (sleep), the personal egoic dynamics need to relax, surrender and let it happen. I'm not concerned with figuring out what force is guiding that process, if any. I just want to fall asleep. Similarly, if there is desire to transfer from an egoic state of consciousness to a collective state of consciousness, it is a somewhat similar process. The personal egoic dynamics need to relax, surrender and let it take over. I'm not concerned with intellectually figuring out who/what is making the decisions. I want to enter the direct experience of being in these expanded conscious states. Hyper mind-body awareness. Healing one's own body. Paranormal frequencies with other awakened beings. Being past, present and future in the Now. That is where the juice is for my mind-body right now. The only reason I would want to figure out the "free will" or "decision" part is if it can help me enter those states. Otherwise, it's just building more cognitive constructs. I can see how that would be very appealing to other mind-bodys and it was for me for a long time. Just not right now.
  22. @Wisebaxter How can I choose to fall asleep if I have no free wiil? I relax, surrender and let it take over.
  23. Just a general comment. Be aware if someone is genuine in their development. Genuine has some fundamental features, yet it may be appear differently at different developmental stages. I had very different views when I was at Orange and I wasn’t always graceful. I got in several debates defending my rationalist views as I worked through it. Yet, I was genuinely trying to personally develop. It’s part of the process. Green and Yellow level users didn’t hold me to the standard of their own stage. They could have bullied me with advanced modes of being and thinking, yet they didn’t. They met me where I was at and helped pull me up. At the collective conscious level of the forum, that’s the name of the game: to increase the conscious level of the collective consciousness. It’s a big part of Tier2 being. Helping beings through red, blue, orange and green stages have very different dynamics. Unleashing a yellow-level can of post-egoic whoop-ass on them is often counter-productive. With that said, there are also situations when a being is motivated to cause conflict, harm and has a hidden agenda. Yet that’s not what I’m seeing here.
  24. I vote yes for pruning. This thread is about asking and sharing about preparations, technique and direct experience with 5-meo. Not pontificating about what 5-meo might be like, how it isn’t real awakening and how it is inferior to other methods (generally by users who haven’t even tried it). I’d also recommend pruning all the posts trying to get the thread back on topic (such as this one). Someone trying to use this thread as a 5-meo guide would have to work through a lot of weeds to find relevant info.
  25. @Outer I’m confident I could tell the difference between placebo and a 10ug micro-dose. Yet I have a lot of experience and in tune with mind-body sensations. Micro, mini, standard, heavy and heroic doses all have diiferent effects. I’ve done them all. I could see how novices might have a strong placebo effect and those controls are necessary in micro-dose experiments. As well, individual sensitivities vary.
