  1. Plot twist: he was 100% sober.
  2. Ryan Holiday is a wise guy, i remember he was one of the VERY FEW who took a reasonable position during the pandemic, being pro-science and vaccines. It's funny how stoicism got hijacked by the alt-right and those Andrew Tate fans type but, in reality, a stoic is much more like Ryan.
  3. I am part of Carnivore diet groups on FB. They LOVE Trump and RFK because "real men eat steaks", they love this "macho fascist vibe". Then you see this photo and you cannot do anything but laugh loudly. The entire group is spinning wheels trying to explain what is clear in front of them: corruption.
  4. Wrong, that is exactly the point of a true Guru/disciple relationship. It's way deeper than a "teacher" that you can pick and choose what you follow or not. For a Guru/disciple relationship to work, the disciple has to devote himself completely.
  5. "This is the best conversation between two robots that I’ve ever witnessed." lol Zero charisma between those two.
  6. I don't really like these clickbait titles but damn, this one is worth it. I've never seen Sam Harris go this hard on someone. Starting to like the guy lately, he has some really insightful thoughts about predicaments like the Pandemic, vaccines, Trump, and the rise of the alt-right. Yes, I am biased.
  7. When people call him Hitler, they don't mean 1945 Hitler, but earlier Hitler, before he got absolute power. 2016 United States is a more robust democracy than 1930's Germany was. The US has more checks and balances, but the historical context is completely different. Given enough time and power, Trump could do unimaginable damage to the world, especially because now his freedom might depend on it.
  8. There was a huge scandal involving his organization here in Brazil. Some of his teachers (who were in high positions in that organization) routinely sexually abused women, and people knew about it, Ravi Shankar knew about it and decided to try to suppress the case instead of dealing with and expelling the teachers (at least). The case became known only after journalists exposed it.
  9. This is gossip and speculation.
  10. Stop gaslighting. Aaron was clear.
  11. I guess unhealthy green can be deceived by con-artists. Probably some red/orange shadow making them like Trump. Also, their mind is corrupted by dozens of conspiracy theories pro-Trump and against the left. They connect with Trump's "anti-mainstream/anti-establishment" rhetoric.
  12. Its indeed very funny to see his audience raging. And also very sad to realize his stage green audience is mostly Trump supporters.
  13. It is not a surprise, he is deeply influenced by Christianity and then I once saw him using conspiracy rhetoric about the pandemic and I immediately figured him out, another misguided devil.
  14. I have listened to many of Tate's speeches and mindsets about life, business, etc. They do have good points. They embody stage red and orange, which we all need to integrate, but they are also stuck on those stages and are a clear warning for what happens when you go too far on those stages alone.
  15. Bro, he is 70 years old, how many jacked 70 yo do you know? Even considering there is probably a good pump going on for those photos.
  16. Opinions SHOULD change with the change of context.
  17. Serious high-level science experts, in the same field, will agree on most things. Science isn't about feelings or "opinions" but what solid serious studies show/point to. What Dr. Wilson shows repeatedly is that most wannabe experts consistently rely on grade-D studies + feelings and vibes to try to counter grade-A++ studies only to be contrarian and stand out. Dr. Wilson is a solid scientist. This doesn't mean that "science" is always right, it means that we can reliably BET on the solid science we have at the moment and we will be right more often than not. Especially when putting it against guys like RFK.
  18. This channel is awesome, full of videos debunking scammers like RFK jr.
  19. I feel amazing on a strict low-carb diet, with no vegetables except some limited fruits before training (which helps with cramps) and some isotonic supplements (carbs and minerals to avoid cramps and dehydration). I am non-dogmatic about it, I test and see what works. Most carnivores are pissed when I say I consume fruits, which technically means I am "ketovore". Some of the benefits I felt: 1. More energy, stable energy. 2. Less body pain, better joint recovery, and less inflammation overall. (this is BIG for me, I suffered with chronic pain for most of my life) 3. Better mood (feel depressed otherwise). 4. Lose weight/fat easily. 5. Less hungry overall. 6. My teeth seem healthier/harder, my gums don't bleed when I floss anymore. and many more
  20. I am more of a carnivore BJJ athlete
  21. That's populism in a nutshell. Billionaires trying to look relatable and not "one of the elites".
