  1. They weren’t nearly as threatening as Trump and MAGA have been to our country’s freedoms and checks and balances. They still had a reasonable amount of respect for democracy and the peaceful transfer of power. They also weren’t divisive or inflammatory like Trump and had more integrity than Trump by far. Plus, they were much more willing to make pragmatic compromises in a bipartisan manner.
  2. Eisenhower, Reagan, and McCain were principled Republicans who truly believed in free and fair elections. Mitt Romney still truly believes in free and fair elections. I wish the Republican Party as a whole could go back to being what they were in the 1900s.
  3. No serious Major party politician challenged Washington for the party's nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1792. No serious Republican challenged Lincoln for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1864. No serious Republican challenged McKinley for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1900. No serious Republican challenged Teddy Roosevelt for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1904. No serious Democrat challenged Wilson for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1916. No serious Republican challenged Coolidge for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1924. No serious Republican challenged Hoover for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1932. No serious Democrat challenged FDR for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1936, again in 1940, and again in 1944. No serious Democrat challenged Truman for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for another term in 1948. No serious Republican challenged Eisenhower for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1956. No serious Democrat challenged Lyndon Johnson for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for another term in 1964. No serious Republican challenged Nixon for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1972. No serious Republican challenged Reagan for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1984. No serious Republican challenged HW Bush for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1992. No serious Democrat challenged Bill Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 1996. No serious Republican challenged W. Bush for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 2004. No serious Democrat challenged Obama for the Democratic nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 2012. No serious Republican challenged Trump for the Republican nomination for president when he ran for re-election in 2020. No serious Democrat challenged Biden/Harris for the Democratic for president when they decided to run in 2024 for another term in the White House. You need to read up on US political History. As a matter of fact, making such a criticism on our country's democratic institutions is a disgusting attack on our country's Founding Fathers, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, and every great leader and hero in this country who served and died for our country's freedoms and checks and balances. Trump wants to piss on the graves of every hero and leader our country ever had by undoing all of the monumental work they did for the American people over the course of approx. 250 years!
  4. America has become one of the most corrupt and one of the most undemocratic countries developed countries in the world. If Trump win in 2024, then America will be just like Hungary, if not possibly become as corrupt and authoritarian as Russia is. During the last several months, I was becoming increasingly more hopeful about the possibility of our country really being on its way to become a more free, more democratic, and more egalitarian kind of country. Now, I am feel this great sense of impending doom for our country and for my own safety here in America if Trump wins. I've tried many times to stop watching the news, but I really can't help myself, especially given how terrifying and insane things have now gotten. I've really become so sick to my stomach about this whole 2024 election. I really have become disgusted with all of the current media outlets out there who have been fucking with our elections by how they've influence too many people idiots and corrupt people in our country to vote the wrong way. I really hate the media environment we have had for years! It will be the death of us all! I am angry about the wealthy and corporate elite who are doing everything they can to take over this country with their money and power, while still being aware of how much more and more people in our country are still struggling to rent or buy a home. Hell, I am becoming frightened now about our freedoms and rights being possibly gone under a Trump dictatorship. Even what Leo has recently been saying about what Trump, MAGA, the radical right-wing federal courts, and the rest of the right-wing plan to do with this country through project 2025 and their continuing erosion of our country's democracy and republic, makes me feel we could lose our whole country to true hard right fascists! So, why should I or anyone else who lives in the USA want to stay in America? Why should I as an America truly feel proud of my country if we keep letting our country getting lead and governed by more and more and more corrupt people in power? 😱
  5. We tried that before with Reagan and Trump. They fucked up the country in the long-run.
  6. I would yell at her face if I could and tell her that she deserves to rot in her prison cell for the rest of her life. I would do the exact same thing to RFK jr.
  7. Yeah, but how is she going to like it when Trump imprisons her and every other leftist out there in the country for their protests if Trump becomes president? How is going to like it when Trump and his administration devastate our country’s natural environment like never before?
  8. Jill Stein is being incredibly selfish! She willing to jeopardize our country’s entire Democrat! She helped elect Trump in 2016!
  9. I am glad that there will very likely be no real open convention process for choosing a new nominee. That will keep that no-contest key locked true for her and her party. I believe that next thing that really needs to be dealt with ASAP is those horrible spoilers, RFK jr. and Jill Stein. If they aren’t taken down, then they will very likely cause Trump to be elected again like what happened in 2016. RFK jr. is particularly a major liability for Harris.
  10. Biden should really resign the presidency to give Harris the incumbency advantage for 2024. If she was the sitting president now, then she would automatically be able to show the whole country how she governs, dominate the political narrative by using all of the levers and resources of the presidency, be able to 100% effectively run on the extraordinary amount of historic accomplishments the Biden/Harris admin did for the country, and have the exceptional level of gravitas.
  11. Btw guys, several other Democratic leaders including Gavin Newsom, Josh Shapiro, Pete Buttigieg, Whitmer, Phil Murphy, the Clintons, and many other big name Dems have already endorsed Harris. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/biden-drops-out-election-2024/card/gavin-newsom-and-josh-shapiro-endorse-kamala-harris-9GEEIL23dIShkTBtp8uB
  12. Unless our democracy officially ends in 2024 or 2028.
  13. Well, it looks like Newsom has already endorsed Harris: Gavin Newsom @GavinNewsom Tough. Fearless. Tenacious. With our democracy at stake and our future on the line, no one is better to prosecute the case against Donald Trump's dark vision and guide our country in a healthier direction than America’s Vice President, @KamalaHarris . 4:34 PM · Jul 21, 2024 · 788K Views That was a wise decision.
  14. Well, at least you don't have to worry about your country being on the brink of autocracy.
  15. Then you might as well have said that with Obama in 2012 when he ran for re-election practically unopposed in the 2012 Dem primaries. Btw, why the hell has he been staying so quiet this whole time? We desperately need him to rally the real majority of Americans against Trump and MAGA. He was supposed to be our champion fighter.
  16. If Trump wins, then I will never forgive the Democratic leadership and those out touch wealthy elite donors for what they've done. Honestly, I am not even 100% sure right now what to do about voting in this election and I am having a very difficult time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel when we have now gotten even closer than ever before to a Trump dictatorship. How will any of us survive a nightmarish Trump presidency?
  17. Any of the Democratic governors, Democratic US Senators, or any other Democratic leaders out there could have challenged Biden for the nomination if they wanted to. Dean Phillips and Mariam Williamson tried fair and square.
  18. Ron Klain, a long-time adviser to Biden and former chief of staff of Biden's administration, really wanted him to stay in the race. These advisors, pollster, pundits, and hucksters out there who wanted Biden out are the same fools who thought that Mondale could beat Reagan in 1984, thought that Dukakis could beat HW Bush in 1988, who thought that John Kerry could beat George W Bush, who thought that Hillary Clinton could beat Trump in 2016. All of those Democratic nominees lost each of those presidential elections. It's because those advisors, pollster, pundits, and hucksters out there never understood the true key fundamentals to winning presidential elections.
  19. He won the Democratic primaries legitimately with over 87% of the vote. This is very undemocratic. The donors and so called moderate Democrats are the true selfish cowards.
  20. Do you have a successful track record of prediction elections? Are you even a top expert in politics or history or hard science?
  21. We would've had a great chance had Biden decided to resign to let Harris take over as president. I really hope that I am wrong.
  22. John Maynard Keynes wasn't a charlatan. He gave FDR brilliant ideas to help save the US economy and the rest of the global economy from the Great Depression. The Federal Reserve has always used economists. Hell, every big bank in the world has used their expertise as well. What other experts are we supposed to listen to or learn from?
  23. Right-wing economists, like Milton Friedman have been horrible for our country. So, are centrist economists or center-left economists the best and most effective for the country?
  24. I am already disgusted with those politicians and donors who stabbed Biden in the back. If Trump wins because of this, they I hope that all those vultures will come to sorely regret it and pay a massive price for it!
  25. She has to message herself as representing a new generation of leaders who will fight poverty and fight for liberty and social justice for all. Then, she can implement specific proposals in her message such as: - Codifying Roe vs. Wade into law - Fight for raising the federal minimum. The current Poor People's Campaign, which since 2018 has been a revival of the late 1960s Poor People's, has been lead by black activists leaders in many parts of the country. - Continue with promoting the revival of the boom in the labor movement. Sentiment for labor unions is still at an all-time, especially after what Biden has done for unions, working class, and middle class folk in America. - Fight systemic racism in the criminal justice system. She has immense experience in that area as a top state attorney general of CA, former US Senator of CA, and VP who has worked alongside Biden and the DOJ. - Pass a Code of Ethics law that would have enough real teeth to hold SCOTUS accountable. - Cancel more student debt to help the younger generations of folk succeed in life. - Build more housing to significantly accessibility and affordability of housing for people. - Lower costs of more prescription drugs - Continue fighting corporate greed and excessive corporate power - And much more Her slogan should be called either "The Great Reconstruction era" or "The New Democracy" or "The New Democratic Republic" or "New Liberty and Justice"
