@krazzer This is awesome!!! Sounds like you have stumbled upon a kundalini release. Only you know if this is true, but if it is I want you to know the high must be met with a low which will be a short depression. The ego wants to believe things will always be the high, but the body cannot sustain the high's for too long. My longest high was a little shorter than 1 month from a kundalini release.

I see many posts about experiences and different states of consciousness. I have something to say about this. When I started transcending my negative behaviors my ego found a new way to exist in my new world. My ego would cling to each new reality and try to assume it cannot be changed. My ego was always wanting to say "this is who I am", but my spirit or whatever you call it would say NO change must happen yet again. At first the battles between my ego and spirit were intense, so my consciousness evolved in a step like pattern. Over time the steps became smaller and smaller because the ego would hold onto the present less and less. Ego does not like change it turns out haha over time I began to see the changes within myself as a flowing river. I once heard this phrase "You can never step into the same river twice" I now relate the concept of this to my ever changing spirit and my ego has reluctantly decided its okay to go with the flow lol You know? I think of my ego how we all think of old men complaining about how the times change haha my ego is an old man LOL Im dying hahaha My ego has a new name. Grandpa LoL Anyways I just wanted to tell you all this Hope you all are having a fantastic day so far!!!

I want to know what you all think

@Girzo Yes! I love Osho. While reading the book of secrets I started off being very serious, but over time that seriousness melted away and I started feeling like I was playing all the time. Now it is difficult for me to be serious Somehow Osho helped me reclaim the eyes I had as a child I think?

Science has discovered a neuron called "mirror neuron". This neuron evolved long ago when a distant relative of ours found it beneficial for the species to come together in communities. In order for the animals to survive they developed this neuron to reduce fighting and internal societal struggles. What this neuron does is interesting. For example, when you see someone doing an activity your brain reacts as if it was you doing the activity. This is the actual cause for things like empathy. This neuron is also responsible for humans having the need for other humans to approve. What the neuron does is when someone validates something you have said the neuron actually triggers the release of dopamine. If someone does not validate what you have said the neuron triggers cortisol to release. This is literally the physiological reason we get offended when someone doesnt validate us. I find this fascinating. Anyone have any input?

Hey! Good to see things are going good! A vegetarian diet can really help balance yourself a lot! If not that at least try cutting processed foods and sugar. Sugar always throws me off a bit. Keep it up

This unfortunately was the toughest part of waking up for me. You start to see how unhealthy energy from others can be. For me I had to cut a few people out of my life because I couldn't see a way to make it work. What is happening is realities are clashing. You are changing into a different reality and it conflicts with others expectations of you. It's hard changing because of these expectations sometimes. How I aproached this was by withdrawing, establishing something new about myself coming back and behaving like the new me. Letting people cope and repeat. Finally I got to a point where I just stopped caring about opinions. I'm just weird me

@jimrich that's another way to say it

You are responsible because your deepest self that you are allows you to make the choices. I choose to wake up because I want to be aware of my choices and consequences. I don't allow my primitive mind access to making big decisions. That mind is for self defense and rare occasions.

@pluto I'm not sure where you found worry I'm confused??

@jimrich I'm sorry to define each Of those as different. When they are all the same to me. I do feel all of them the same. There is an immense amount of love in every moment. When I say not so loved I am referring to the moments in life when I forget about this abundant love more than I feel comfortable forgetting. I hope that helps -

@Dino D Why attain enlightenment? As a child 5 years old. I was seeking something more.... I pondered the meaning of life constantly. After years of contemplation I concluded that nothing in this world matters because in death it is all taken and can happen at any time. I also concluded that spirit must be present due to my conscious experience. In the end I realized that this enlightenment was the only thing we can take from this world. Because I knew I had pain, therefore I knew I was here to learn from it. This is what reason I have for enlightenment. It is all I have. -
@Shin I like that, simple, to the point and full of knowledge. Thank you.

@ajasatya I have actually I only recently realized the energy I was bringing to my spirituality. I am excited to be here to actually see those ghosts! I feel as though I am seeing myself in all the stages I went through before this. Its very interesting and exciting to see so many working so hard!!!

@ajasatya I have noticed a lot of serious energy within this forum. Do you believe the seriousness is a phase that is a part of spiritual progression at all? I know I myself used to be very serious and I look back at it as a phase almost. A very frustrating time in my life indeed

I believe an internet forum is too much distraction for a Buddha possibly? Remember Siddhartha had to sit in contemplation for a very long time to realize. I believe the noise of the internet and buzzing opinions may just be too much distraction. Perhaps not though -
Your mind is playing tricks on you to keep you in a state of negativity. If you are feeling negative it activates the primitive parts of the brain to take over which is what your brain wants. Do not allow your mind to feed you these lies. I myself had this problem. Do not allow your mind this freedom in your life.

You will never find an enlightened person by asking this question. An enlightened person will have no interest in answering. Only an ego has interest in answering this question. You will find an enlightened person by bringing yourself as much awareness as possible. Then if you pass by an enlightened one you may see. Though I couldn't imagine an enlightened person spending time on a forum like this. I think I might laugh to see a Buddha talking amongst us in a forum -

I picked up information here and there through the years for lucid dreaming. Here is what I consider important for me. Remember to research for yourself as what works for me may not work for you. Keep a dream journal write every dream down as thorough and as fast as possible. I actually audio record to speed it up (Dream memories vanish very fast as we all know) It's important to go back and write the dream down. As time passes it's important to go back and read your past dreams. As you read your dreams you should get a unique sensation in your consciousness. This is your brain getting rewired to be able to remember the dream world better. Also to help your consciousness maintain awareness start asking yourself "am dreaming frequently make sure you really feel yourself internally checking like you are making sure you aren't dreaming. This will help you wake up in your dreams. When you are able to wake up in your dream practice doing things like creating fire in your hand or try to make matter in your dream change. Once you get skilled at this astral projection should be easier from what I have read. I have no personal experience with this to share. If you have trouble maintaining awareness all it takes is 1 second of unconsciousness and you lose the ability to control your dream. It's almost like you get bumped out of the drivers seat and you are only observing again. The weird part is you don't remember while the dream that you had control. At least that has been my experience. -

I am happy you have experienced this in social situations I am an odd one because of this reality shift that has happened. Have you re-aligned your new consciousness with how others perceive you, and how you see yourself through their eyes? Do you think you may be self conscious if you don't relate to others realities anymore? If you feel this will be no problem you may want to play in the field of lucid dreaming or astral projection. I would do lucid dreaming first. -
This technique seems mostly to benefit awareness. If he is saying "I am happy" it may out may not improve his happiness depending on his own emotional reaction to his statement. But regardless him stating he is happy on a regular basis forces him to be aware pretty consistent. Which can be a great benefit in all kinds of areas in his life. I used this technique in2 different ways. Which were very effective. 1. Am I aware 2. Am I dreaming. This one was particularly powerful because from obsesively asking myself this question I eventually found myself adding it in my dream which forced me to have a lucid dream.

This is a very non dualistic statement. It's interesting that we all have so much in common yet we focus on the minimal differences. For example.... We all aim for this state called enlightenment. Yet we assume everyone must take the same path. I believe the struggle is with the ego, but after one day just deciding. I will struggle no more. I changed gears and feel so aligned to the no struggle kind of path. This path is good. I will stay on this path. I feel since the river flows right where I need to go, yes I will flow with it. I keep my awareness easily now. I'm not enlightened though, that's okay. I will never be. That's okay. -
Alright have a good day
-
But your fully sidestepping the facts. This is what the conversation is about. Refusing to be specific well I guess we wont get anywhere....? That's okay though. answer if you please.

@Nichols HarveyI can see that pov. Do you think I manipulated my bf because I withdrew like that? Do you know why I did that, or is everyone evil that does that kind of thing? Do you think it's never acceptable to withdraw, even if you are thinking of maybe ending the relationship? Let's figure this out. Once I start kayaking I am gone though LoL
