  1. Thank you all so much. After months of thinking really hard on this, this is the vision that I came up with: To become a circus show clown & director. Specifically I'm aiming for Cirque du Soleil. I want to create beautiful, magical shows, that inspire people to follow their dreams. And also, I want to be a clown character in those shows, not even the main character, just a random clown character. I'm pretty excited about this vision, I'm even going to fly abroad to go to a Cirque show in person. Thank you all so much.
  2. Hi everyone. I've been looking for a while for my life purpose, and I really want to find something amazing that I'm passionate about, so I'm here to listen to ANY advice and ANY possibility. (I'm actually posting this question all over the internet to get all sorts of different answers, but since Actualized.org is pretty much the reason I even know about life purpose, I should mention here that I already took the entire Life Purpose Course and have worked on finding it for a long time. This question is the result of lots of time figuring out my values, strengths, zone of genius, impact statement, etc. But I really want some random external feedback, so that's why I'm here.) I know I love video games, and I've developed games for about 10 years now. (I'm 24) But I also know I love expressing myself physically and vocally, like moving and talking and laughing, and I really don't get to do that making videogames. Making videogames is mostly about being on a computer. I'm looking for something that has the beauty of a really inspirational video game, or any form of art, but that also allows you to express yourself physically and vocally. (It can be something that already exists, or a crazy new possibility) I'm open to ANY POSSIBILITY, I'm here to listen to your advice, and to answer any of your questions. I've tried to find the answer to this on my own for months now, and now I've realized that I need external feedback and perspectives, so when I say that I'm open to any advice or idea, I mean it. TL;DR Is there anything out there that has the beauty of a really inspirational video game, or any form of art, but that also allows you to express yourself physically and vocally?
  3. Wow, I'm actually a little moved by so many answers. When I wrote this post, I didn't check it again for like 3 days cause I thought I needed to give it time for at least 1 answer, but I now I just checked it and there's tons of answers, and like serious answers. Guess might as well share my current routine: -Go to sleep at 12am -Wake up at 8am -Breakfast: Coffee and bread (30 min) -Shower: Normal hot water shower (30 min) -Review my Me Sheet (5 min) -Life Purpose Affirmations (5 min) -Life Purpose Contemplation (5 min) -Life Purpose Visualization (10 min) -Concentration (5 min) -Meditation (30 min) -Exercise (20 min) -Lunch -And then just work on my Life Purpose I've been meditating for a couple of years now. (Losing track of the exact amount) Although, being honest, I've missed some days, but I'd say I've meditated for about 95% of those 2 years. I've reviewed my Me Sheet for 2 months now, no days missed. So really the new things I'm adding to my routine are the affirmations, contemplations, visualizations, concentrations, and exercise. By the way, I'm aware that I can improve my breakfast and maybe my shower habits, but for now I'm focusing on finishing 90 days of the new habits. Although, really my goal is to just keep doing them forever, maybe shifting the focus of what I'm programming my subconscious mind with. Right now I only have 6 consecutive days of this morning routine, which I know is a pathetic amount, but I'm very committed to doing the 90 days of it to make it really stick in my subconscious. I feel quite confident that I'll make it, cause I'm very passionate about my vision, and I know this is the way to make it happen. Anyways, I'm rambling, this ain't my journal! Thanks everyone for sharing! We are not alone!
  4. Hi, this post is really just an excuse to test out this forum and feel a little bet less alone on my self-actualization journey. Recently I started practicing a daily morning routine of various subcionscious reprogramming methods, meditation, and exercise. So, just to start a conversation between other self-actualizers around, what are your morning rituals or daily routines? Maybe I can add a habit or two to mine. Thanks!
  5. @Leo Gura Hello everyone, this is my first post here. I've been meditating for almost 1 year now and I can see the importance of doing it daily. Recently I started practicing Mindfulness Meditation, and I can see how powerful it can be in my life. Besides Mindfulness Meditation, I really like the Awareness Focus technique, I've been doing it for months, and I too feel this one is extremely important in my life. I meditate about 30 minutes every day, but since I started practicing Mindfulness Meditation, I stopped practicing Awareness Focus, as I don't feel ready to meditate 60 minutes per day. (30 Mindfulness/ 30 Awareness) Having stopped practicing Awareness Focus, I can easily see how this affects my overall consciousness of my inner self. My question is: (and hopefully Leo sees it) What do you think of meditating interchangeably? That is, in my case, one day Mindfulness Meditation, and the next day Awareness Focus. Do you think I can develop both practices like this? Or will they end up half-assed? Should I just strive to meditate twice per day? Thank you.
