Step one is to identify a specific thing you don't have that requires a change, and then step two is to create that.

I like to think I have a purpose, but often I come to feel/think I am wrong too. It's really weird. It's like set and reset. But at the end of the day you need to take care of your responsibilities to the best you can too. Don't let extraneous issues dictate your vision, but also take into account what feedback you get too.

The question here is what is your role? Role is the artform, and your manifested role is the artwork.

I appreciate this. We should attempt to show up in an area with some skill. Otherwise it's all talk.

If enlightenment is such a myth then why are some of us so focused on it?

I read a lot of books, but now I realize books are more about inspiration to me than information at this point.

You can focus on thrival instead of negative need to gain attention. I agree.

This is a good video to show how Christianity was heavily influenced by Western Philosophy.

It comes down to how we're slicing and dicing what constitutes the self.

Then why communicate meaning thru language? Why not go do something else? I'm not saying you, but anyone who has this point of view.

So you think mind is like the body in the sense that it just kinda does whatever it does. There's no control over the patterns of the mind just like there is no control over the patterns of the body. But then how do you know if the patterns of the mind are Good?

What about teaching this though? Where does that factor in? Otherwise you would be Free, right?

I always start with what do I want to consciously create. In this case the artform is career and the artwork would be my career. I love this creator approach.

Yes. My model fits all of that. First you identify the artform that you want to create in. It could be anything. And then the focus is on what artwork can I create in this artform? It could be cooking. That's the artform. And your creation of an artwork would be a dish that you create.

The way I think of it is I'm creating an artwork in such and such artform, this keeps it grounded. So thinking would be tied to an artwork. What artform does that thinking fit? Is it a brainstorm, a plan, a contemplation? And then to consciously create, e.g., a great brainstorm as an artwork.
