  2. @mikeyy I don't want to post links here but if you do some digging, you can find the technique and the mantras out there for free. It's enjoyable and brings you to a silent mind (lol, Ether flashbacks) quicker and more efficiently than any other technique I have experimented with.
  3. @Thanatos13 Joy is a state of flowing with life and the only thing blocking you from it is Resistance/Ignorance/Attachment/Falsehood (these are the same and only highlight a certain aspect of the substance of the ego). Resisting and not embracing the idea of nihilism is just another condition you put onto your Joy. When you have no reason to do anything over anything else, you are liberated, not put into a cage. The only reason you may want to have a reason for doing is that you resist not having a reason for acting. After all, not acting / Being is all meditation and spiritual work is trying to accomplish. "Just be - with nothing to run away from and nowhere to go"
  4. Contemplate what is the substance of ego and what destroys is and act upon those insights. And you can overcome the ego trying to destroy the ego issue.
  5. Infinity is there to find itself If Truth is revealed, the ego dies. Alot of us are aware of that. The mind can't grasp Truth. The mind is anti-truth. As @who chit mentioned, God = Truth. @Winter Touché
  6. Why do you think pushing negative thoughts away in order to manifest Joy is ever going to work out? Since you are aware of the distinction between Spirituality 101 and 2.0, I want you to answer this question with radical and brutal honesty. Try contemplating what Joy is - it will have its benefits.
  7. @Cortex By this logic, the cravings for video games, series, fiction, role-playing, porn, etc. are spiritual too. Escape and abuse are movements away from Truth, not towards it. Where Resistance is faced, Truth is revealed. Yass, that's the other side of the coin. The words of a wise man. ?
  8. @Robert Please list all the projections I have made because I only see one (and I was careful with that one too): The ego is nothing but a projection machine.
  9. @Shanmugam The appendix summarizes the argument presented but it doesn't include all the nuances.
  10. And maybe this kid is a part of a universe which is a school project of a 5 dimensional kid which is in a school project of a 6 dimensional kid
  11. So happy for you The ego's only way to stop conflict with itself is by bathing it in Love. I love you ❤️
  12. I just finished reading it. You wrote a masterpiece! I haven't read a book in a while and I couldn't put down this one. It's minimalistic, straight to the point, yet everything that needs to be known before processing the next bit is given ahead of time. I loved the casual and chill bits in this otherwise deep, existential conversation. I can't process this much mindfuck in such a short time though If I decide to go berserk with Truth-seeking, I will have to read this again. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for free, @anaj! ❤️
  13. Quoting myself here: I think that video games can be viewed as art.
  14. Because it is. Alot of people don't understand how relative development is. No activity should be put on a pedestal as the only/superior way to develop yourself. IMHO All personal development boils down to how much you can flow with life unconditionally. You change yourself to make yourself flow with your life more easily and no one should/can limit the things you can do to make this happen. Enlightenment allows you to feel Joy more unconditionally. You may actually prefer to be alone after a certain point on your journey of dissolving your ego. We get ya. Thanks for expressing your honest opinion!
  15. Pain is a mental category of sensations which are or supposed to be resisted by the ego. Love is an antidote to Resistance / Ignorance / Attachment / Separation (the substance of the ego) thus it destroys the idea of pain. All experience is filtered through Consciousness / Love.
  16. Is this that weird humor thingy of those worthless millennials?
  17. @art @Gabriel Antonio lmao Clearly inspired by Leo's video called "Life Is A Maze" (click the link if you haven't seen the video yet, it's really profound) :
  18. I haven't said anything that contradicts this. I am more pro-joy and anti forcing spiritual practice than you most likely imagine. I prioritize authentic desire over seeking. However, I draw a line between the prime directive of the ego and the purpose of life. Life is in it's purest form without mental projections (because Truth is limitless Being) and purpose is one of these mental projections. Happiness is a state where one doesn't sense Resistance - in other words, where ego doesn't encounter itself. True unconditional happiness is only possible with the death of the ego but then, the ego wants to be happy, it doesn't want to face Resistance unless it realizes it has to. It comes full circle beautifully. Finding happiness and killing the ego (thus the entity to desire happiness) are not opposing desires - they are ultimately one. Happiness is what we are all after but I don't think this makes it the purpose of life. Even a miserable and weak nihilist who identifies with nihilism is seeking happiness. If after reading this post you think that something is holding me back, feel free to tell me. May Love and Purity guide your journey ?
  19. Freedom = Lack of Resistance/Ego The very craving to become God and transcend all limitations is the reason why you are stuck being a limited ego. You want to use God for your devilish needs. This is not to reject your desire, only an insight you shared. Edit: Just finished watching Leo's most recent video, I think it'll help ya.
  20. The next time you feel this, try to feel into the emotion. What does it try to communicate? What Resistance are you encountering? Nothing is wrong with distracting yourself. Just remember that the pain won't go away until you stay unconditionally present with it.
  21. I just think what you wrote answers another question. How come I am not depressed then? Has Leo been hiding his suicidal thoughts for years now? And I gave a reason why nihilism causes these things (+ existential crises). Honestly, the idea that happiness is the meaning of life never appealed to me. There are much nobler, deeper things in life than maintaining the conditions for happiness. Yes, following your Joy may be a direct spiritual path but that path will turn upside down once you follow it for long enough. And I don't see any inherent meaning in life.
  22. A practical, minimalistic, straightforward guide to dissolving the ego and facing the challanges that come with it.
  23. @Robert The question you answered is "What is the deepest desire of the ego?" and you are right in that sense - Joy, Love; God. However, nihilism doesn't imply misery. This only happens when the ego gets scared of the freedom it actually has because it is punched out of the view that life has a point. Fully integrating nihilism is actually really liberating. The way to truly attain happiness is to dwell in Resistance and this implies facing the Resistance to the idea having any meaning.
