@TheAvatarState yes indeed... i have technically already made up my mind a few months ago, but because i am procrastinating studying for the exam, and since i havent signed up yet for the exam, my mind is chickening out and trying to find a way oout of this.. so you may be right that deep down i know what the decision and what i should do is but im trying to reason out of it. im going to try to let it go.. the thing is i have to make up my mind about doing it test and signing up asap. i m going to watch the video you suggested. thanks so much

Hi all recently I’ve been struggling with a decision that I have to make. It’s not that life changing but I’ve never been this undecisive in my life. I’ve been back and forth between yes and no and I’m basically running out of time and I still hasn’t figured out what I really want. the more I think, the more confusing I get. So I am wondering, what should I do? Should I sit down and take one full day to ponder it and see the pros and cons and just make the decision or should I just go with my gut feeling and do it and be over with ? like I said, it’s not a life or death situation. It’s about a school / career task. What are the important factors in the decision making so that I don’t make a decision I will regret or an impulsive one? thank you so much!!!!!

@Shadowraix while i agree that it is not a race, i feel like our lives are so limited in time. which is why i don't know if saying that i can put off spirituality for now and focus on it later in my career is the way to go but you are right, it is not the only thing and we shouldnt rush spiritual work.

@Cepzeu I don’t mind sharing but I don’t want to rely on others for making this decision. I wanted some general pointers, if that makes sense. its about weather I should sacrifice the summer studying to do a licensing exam. It wouldn’t be a big deal if I don’t do it, but if I did, it would open the doors of practicing in the US. But that would means sacrificing the only 1 month I have off where I can use for other things I’m passionate about such as spiritual development. Thanks

Leo keeps telling us to not ideolize actualized.org and to always cross reference and vary our sources. Other than books, do you guys know of a similar resource like actualized.org that I can listen to? i listen to actualized.org a lot on my commute and the apple podcast really works well. I was wondering if there’s another podcast channel who talks about the deep stuff that Leo talks about on his channel? or simply, what other people /sources do you guys follow other than books? I have the following : shinzhen, sadhgurru, osho, but their stuff is found to be all over the place and not organized or in forms that I can listen while driving. I would really like some forms of audio/video that I can download and listen during my commute. I almost exclusively listen to Leo i figured I better listen to other perspectives. @Surfingthewave Hey! i think it’s totally normal and inevitable to not be consistent! Would be too easy otherwise I think the key is to not be too hard on yourself, albeit it souding counter intuitive. Know what your life purpose and goal is and don’t be too harsh if you miss a day of meditation or even a few days of your good practices. Because you will miss , you will fail, and you won’t be consistent. Life is impermanent so of course we cannot escape inconsistency. The kinder you are to yourself, the easier it will be to be diligent. Procrastination and inconsistency have been a MAJOR issue for me. I procrastinated so much that I would meditate ONCE IN A WHILE. I still struggle with it, but a lot less. As we progress, we become less rigid with everything. What I learnt is beating myself up for it doesn’t help, in contrary, it makes my life more miserable. I just have to accept that it happens and I have to be PATIENT, extremely PATIENT with the progress. its a long journey but knowing what you wanna achieve in your lifetime is crucial. Have the big picture and try your best to make all of your actions toward that instead of being disciplined in every practice you do.

You can never force someone to believe the things you do. Thinking it will help him is only part of your belief systems. I think the best way is to work on yourself and the work you put into enlightenment will show through your actions and relationships and will help him too. If ever he gets interests, then talk to him about it but if he doesn’t seem open right now, let it be

So the Roman Catholic Church sex scandals including pedophilia and priests abusing nuns have been highly mediatized in the recent years. Interestingly enough, the problem is not only within the Roman Catholic Churches. It is seen in other spiritual cults and religious groups. I was quite shocked while researching on the matter that even the Tibetan Buddhism suffer from these abuses too. There were allegations against one of the greatest teachers of Tibetan Buddhism sogyal rinpoche. How come none of these organizations are “immune” from these scandalous acts? I’ve been reading books by sogyal rinpiche and his wisdom deeply touched me and I am quite shocked how these acts could’ve been performed from people who are so to speak “purifying” their mind. They could be rumours but the rumours do come from some facts.. I am in no way trying to judge these people because I for one wouldn’t know if I would do the same if I were to be put in their powerful positions. But I just want to hear what you guys think the danger in these organized spiritual groups are? What are the culprits ? Does enlightenment not even prevent ourselves from conducting such acts? Can one be enlightened and still abuses ones power ? Thanks for helping me to wrap my head around this matter. happy new year
