Good on you cause I’m reporting you. Back at you regarding your issues

Glorify your ego elsewhere dude. Deceive yourself on another thread.

Big talk from the guy that posts garbage rap on SoundCloud that gets no views, spends all his time on the forum talking smack about all your “attainments” (anyone can claim anything) and glorified overrated shallow rappers like Kanye. If you want to troll me, hmu on my inbox. Don’t need your nonsense on a post where I could use some help.

Reshaping the running world in through coaching from intermediate-sub elite - top level runners from 800 meters on the track to cross country, to road racing, to 100+ mile distances in short (don’t have the statement down). I have a lot of connections and stuff (I know a 2012 Olympic silver medalist in the 800m and a lot of pros) but I have no coaching background to actually get people to work with and what not. Coaching elite athletes really is just one of those things you either gotta work up the ranks from like high-college etc or try and survive by getting someone to read your blog just so you look like you know what you’re talking about (happens from time to time but pretty rare).

Thought I’d share this

@pfletcha no

I'm just sharing this because the fact that this guy is still alive to tell the tale is beyond astounding... Please put time into your research on what NOT to do when you do psychedelics... Especially powerful ones (that you've never done before). @Leo Gura I think you'd get a kick out of this https://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=13799

Kudos to @Leo Gura for this interview with Peter Ralston -
I'm really struggling with my ADHD right now. At the beginning of 2018 I finally got off 17 years worth of ADHD medication (currently 23 years old) as well as 5 other psych meds. I do have actual ADHD (was tested for 6+ months when I was first diagnosed) so I don't want to get into too much debate over that. Either way though, I haven't been 100% off any medication since I was just a little kid so as you can imagine (for those that have a mature understanding of ADHD) things haven't just gotten better all because I'm off (which I expected). I have a meditation habit but this is just nowhere near enough in terms of developing focus, concentration, general attention, etc. I'm struggling more than ever with studying, losing shit all the time, and have gotten into several (very minor) car accidents. I know @Leo Gura has been doing neurofeedback but I want to get some other people's take on this too as I think this can really help me. So for those of you who have done neurofeedback training, what has the results been for you? How much does it usually cost? Thanks as always!
-
This is a clear example of someone who doesn’t even know what neurofeedback is or even ADHD is for that matter.

Take your dogma elsewhere. Science and western medicine isn’t the end all be all by any means but it has a place. That is absolute fucking nonsense. Do you how many diseases have been eliminated due to breakthroughs in western medicine? Clearly you’re not reading my first post to start this thread where I mentioned the part about how I got off 6 psych medications. Take your projections, criticisms and judgements elsewhere. Enlightenment and consciousness isn’t some end all be all to all the problems that exist.

@d0ornokey mind if I message you man? Thats awesome man. Really happy for you. I live here in San Francisco which is great because I actually have tons of resources around me of people that use neurofeedback training.

@Leo Gura you talked about a lot of the things real yoga can really help with and even potentially cure. One of those things in you said in your “Importance of Real Yoga” video was ADHD. I want to preface that I was diagnosed with ADHD and even had brain testing back when I was getting diagnosed as a kid. So I wasn’t one of those kids that was just put on a stimulant because I couldn’t sit still in class. Back in January though I successfully I got off 17 years of ADHD medication (along with 5 other psych meds I was on). As expected though of course, I REALLY need to find an alternative because now I’m just left with an unfocused mind that’s actually deteriorated that now doesn’t have the crutch (the adhd medication) anymore. To start, I just want to know if you really think that this is something that will help someone in my position. I have the J.C. Stevens book and have been doing the first intro routine of Nadhi Sodhana, Ujjayi, followed by the Concentration but given my extremeley poor focus I feel like such a short 10 minute practice daily is never going to get me anywhere (this applies to all concentrative meditation exercises for that matter). I also feel like it’s going to take forever to move onto further stages of yoga because of this challenge and also because my sessions are so short. My ADHD has always been such an incredible challenge for me and especially now. In the last few months I’ve gotten into 3 (small) car accidents from me not paying attention to something, to studying and doing general work being impossible to concentrate on, losing and forgetting shit, etc. What are your thoughts? -

This is awesome! Didn’t know Sadhguru had a biography! Definitely getting this! Thanks!! -
@Highest saying that is not the same as me experiencing and truly knowing that.

So I feel a bit conflicted right now. I'm retaking the Life Purpose course but as I'm doing so and really focusing in on the questions like 'what do I TRULY think will make me the most fulfilled in life,' I'm really taking a different view now where I'm slowing down actually to contemplate that question a little bit. Before I would jump to the answer I'm used to giving which was my passion for running. However, when I think deeper and really broaden my thinking beyond my current life experiences and take into account all that I've learned from @Leo Gura, I'm starting to see there's more to that question that I haven't been noticing up until now. I've always answered important questions like that based on what I've been exposed to in my life thus far. The more consciousness work and meditation I do though now (especially now that I do it every single day no matter what) the more I can see and intuit there's so much more to life and what can make me fulfilled than what I've been exposed to thus far. Especially given the identity I've constructed for myself over the years along with all the beliefs I've created around this artificial identity. Now I'm starting to see how consciousness work for example can be an even greater means to even higher levels of fulfillment than I've ever been exposed to thus far and what I've ever thought possible. After this insight, I decided to re-watch the video on becoming a modern sage and I really felt and could really get a tiny glimpse on how that can definitely be the greatest vision a person can have and "accomplish" (I use that word loosely). Despite these profound insights though, I almost feel like these realizations are "coming up too fast." Like, my current sense of self is so alarmed by such realizations are possible visions for my life that I feel this inner conflict and serious resistance. These concepts and new "goals" are so 180 degrees different than what I've always pursued and identified with that I almost feel put off by them even though I know I'd achieve a quality of life I never thought was possible, much less how much more fulfilled I know I'd be than if I stuck to my current paradigm and goals and such. It seems like such a change in lifestyle than I think I may be ready for. On the other hand though, I have a feeling that may be just an ego-defense mechanism. What are some of your thoughts on this? Not asking for someone what to do necessarily. I certainly would love some thoughts and suggestions and points of view on what you may do if you were me though and how you might go about this dilemma. Does this seem like it may actually be a defense of my ego to prevent change? Hell, I even feel this conflict in my desire in the pursuit of Enlightenment.

I was going to put this in the product review section here on the forum but I wanted to give this book some more notice as this really caught my attention and thought this was amazing that a book of this kind is a bestseller right now on Amazon. Initial Disclaimer: I haven't read the book. This book though seems to talk about the history of psychedelics and then goes into various different trip reports ranging from LSD -> Mushrooms -> even 5-MeO-DMT and then goes into case studies on how it's effects on altered states of consciousness and even how it helps with many mental illnesses, e.g. addiction, depression, etc. I don't know about you but I'm pretty stoked that a book like this on a bestseller list right now on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B1V3RF5/ref=s9_acsd_top_hd_bw_bd1_c_x_1_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-5&pf_rd_r=1ZYV2N0297JJKKH4WV11&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=de4d1505-8a4c-5ab1-ac96-de5bdf5eb8c3&pf_rd_i=2419

Ordered the Kriya Yoga book from Leo's book-list and will be arriving tomorrow. Do I really need anything to do Kriya in terms of tangible equipment? Do I need a mat, meditation cushion, etc.?
