If you've had the privilege of having a mentor for any duration of time... what did you learn? How has this knowledge transformed your perspective/way of viewing the world? I believe having a mentor is extremely important for younger adults who want to progress quickly in a specific field. It's much better to learn from someone's experience than it is to read from a book (often times). This way, you can observe and discuss the Do's and Don'ts of how to progress... Two mentors i have had: 1.) An Olympic level track coach 2.) My 87 year old grandfather who has lived an actualized life My track coach showed me amazing insights and methods as to how to properly train as well as to stay loose and feeling good in the body. My grandfather who lived an actualized life showed me the importance of implementing metaphysics and proper conduct through out the day (Discipline, orderliness, respect, etc.) Please share your experiences with your mentor.

@pluto Thanks for sharing this. I'm currently taking a break from Instagram/Snapchat and i feel great... Going to take a week off and then check back in for 5-10 minutes.

@Raptorsin7 Go for a long walk, or workout, and set a new pace for yourself. Use the endorphins to take action and clean up your life.
-
@Fede83 try it for 21 days and then see if it's worth it...
-
@ds300 the more time you focus on them and what they're doing, the less time you're spending focusing on what you can control... which is your own content creation.
-
@ds300 1.) You're soooo young. Don't be so heart on yourself... If you're 26 and become a DJ as your Life Purpose... you think that's a bad thing? Of course not! This is a game of self awareness. Your job is to day by day, get closer to authentically who you truly are. How much content are you producing on a weekly basis?

Sahil Pandit replied to Austin Actualizing's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Austin Actualizing Yes! This is a good sign. Trust that new pace you're setting for yourself. The lifestyle people live is TOO fast! They're in a rush and have little to no mindfulness... How slow are you willing to go? Be the master of each situation. -

@The Don Notice how "nihilism" is a story you're creating? Even that is seen by You as the observer. Stay mindful and drop as much fluff as you can. Little by little. -
Wow, that's amazing! Sounds like i shared this video at the right time ... GOOD

How about you take a break from "trying"? Let things arise authentically and organically instead of forcing growth. Maybe this means letting go of control for a bit, reflecting on things, maybe going for a walk, and then coming back to your situation with a little more mindfulness, then working on it?

Sahil Pandit replied to kieranperez's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
"Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception. Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles. Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. Cease being a prisoner of the body; using the secret key of KRIYA, learn to escape into Spirit." - Lahiri Mahasaya -

This is what he has to put up with.... -

Didn't get the result you wanted? Good. Didn't run the time you expected? Good. Don't feel that great? Good. Feeling like giving up? Good. Feeling defeated? Good. Feeling confused and lost? Good. Not sure if you have what it takes? Good. Feeling behind? Good.

@arlin There is zero need to speed things up. You cannot speed things up, even. You must always work with where you're at... and that can be highly counter intuitive at times. Open up your time frame, and start to think in terms of years. Where you will be 2-3 years from now will be outstanding if you can stick with the pace you've put on yourself. Also, don't be afraid to take breaks from this work. As long as your overall trajectory is going up, you will be fine. Trust the process.

@Derek White It depends... what are your fitness/health goals?

@The Don Depression is no match for you, so long as you keep your mindfulness/meditation practices firm. Keep going, i'm right there with ya. -
@Zigzag Idiot Let's keep moving onward
-
2 steps forward, one step back. You don't get to choose how long an ego backlash may take, but boy is it needed. There is no better feeling that burning off dead wood that you considered to be yourself. It's liberating, but exhausting at the same time. There's so many layers to unwire and burn off... The body, mind, emotions all need rest during this process. Feeling like i'm traveling through a dry valley and there's no water for miles. The journey continues...

Sahil Pandit replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Schahin If you can't see the mechanism directly, try to deconstruct the labels you have onto what you are perceiving as reality. Try to get the mind as still as possible (without a filter) and "LOOK". -
My Life Purpose is unfolding faster than i could have ever imagined... @Leo Gura I cannot wait to meet you at a Live Workshop!
