  1. @MarinM Gather info from a variety of sources, experiment for your self and develop a routine that suits your personality, body type, and goals. Over time your palette will increase and you will grow more sensitive with certain types of yoga. Enjoy!!
  2. What does healthy neuroticism look like? Personally, I have been catching myself trying to do too many things at once. Multitasking, thinking that I am being more efficient. Can anyone relate? From the looks from of things, there does not seem to be a negative emotion attached to it, thank goodness. However, when I get excited and motivated, this seems to happen over and over. If i slow down and become more mindful and deliberate, that motivation i had slowly dies down.
  3. @Dan Arnautu Great diagram! Sounds like I need to couple this with Deep Work by Cal Newport

  9. @Joseph Maynor Letting go, of everything. Everything to the point where you start to feel tears arising, not knowing to the point where you intuit that there is billions of things going on, and all is well no matter what. Not knowing how things will play out, but knowing that awareness will forever remain as awareness.
  10. @8Ball Good, keep going. Seems that you are starting to push your boundaries a little more.

  15. I found myself painting my downstairs room today. Im a very kinesthetic, left handed person. What I noticed is, when I started to paint with my right hand, a lot of internal cognitive changes started to happen, and I felt different and began to think much clearer. If you feel ungrounded in your life, and you are LEFT HANDED, develop the left side of your brain ASAP. I vow to develop mine from here on out. Does anyone else feel ungrounded in their logic, reasoning, and rationality? (No Truth wars pls)
  16. @egoless Help others become more financially competent, you can get a lot of intrinsic motivation from that. Also, are you going to use the LP course on this to help you??
  17. @Debrag Fastest way would probably be SDS (Strong Determination Sitting) or extreme concentration practice to induce a Samadhi state (The first time I did it was by looking at an hourglass with upmost concentration for 1 hour straight.) Its hard for the first 5 minutes but after than you can do it, if your will is strong enough.
  18. Hello everyone, I need your advice. I have discovered that I no longer want to go school in person. Rather, I want to learn fully online, 100%. With that being said, I wanted to ask you, do you think this is worthwhile? Are you aware of how flexible it allows you to be? Also, do you have any experience with it? If you do, please reach out to me!!
  19. Nothing can make you angry unless you give it permission. Have you noticed that if you're completely detached and you let reality take place, that, without a doubt, things will unfold how they should? The higher your level of awareness, the more you can, sit back and just watch things unfold. Its quite magnificent to be a spectator of. You are spectating from No Thing. Just observe, when you sink into that awareness, in the this moment, things are just happening as they will. Why not be completely open right now? Put your attention to your heart and let go. Give it a try. Hope this little reminder helps.

  22. @deci belle Good point, emotional labor is a constant process. Its a skill that never truly gets mastered, only gets stronger. You can always give more of yourself, would you say?
  23. @Vipassana HEHHEHEHEHEHEHEH <33333 @Joseph Maynor Now time to be completely sober for a few months, just inquiring and cleaning out all of the insides. @Nahm Yassss no bad trips because all was meant to show you who you are @vinnger you bet, will contemplate tonight before bed.
  24. Last night I did my second mushroom trip. I had prepared with a massive 21 hour fast. It was a religious holiday so I was fine tuned for a great experience. I drank 1g of mushroom tea at about 7pm, with the intention to stay up as long as I could. (I ended up falling asleep around 3am.) This trip was all brutally honest, and I went in with the mentality that I wanted to God to chop my head off. (I was fully surrendering as much as I possibly could.) Within the first 40 minutes, I was watching a religious festival on YouTube and I was dancing like a mad man. I had never let go of self consciousness to this degree before. Being and INFJ, i am always watching my tendancies like a hawk, ive spent tens of thousands of hours doing so. FOR THE FIRST TIME in years, I was able to dance and realize the depth of my self judgement, it was quite shocking to see how much a single judgement can hold back and authentic experience wanting to arise! About two hours in, things had slowed down a bit. My body was in a state of ecstacy since it had shook out all of the energy that would bring it down. I realized that depression can only happen in the body, so it is important to keep the body in a state of flow and never to neglect it, or else you will develop neurotic holding patterns. I realized this later with my jaw, since I have a very tight left jaw. Also, this prevents the throat chakra from opening up, which hindered my experience quite a bit. Insight #2: Everything is connected to everything else. I began to laugh hysterically laugh and I started to engage in a self dialogue about how everything is connected. It started off slowly, but it quickly ramped up and I was jumping out my seat during the trip saying things to my self like, "Its all one? Its all one!!! HAHAAHHAA. This is SO OBVIOUS! How could anyone miss this?" I was crying my eyes out, it was quite a beautiful sight, although I did look like i was mad Insight #3: The Kundalini wants to arise naturally, but blocks prevent it. I began to use my third eye to analyze my energy and what I discovered was that my Kundalini was arising spontaneously. However, I was having difficulty getting the heart chakra and throat chakra open. This led to a lot of sounds in my throat and in my lower abs, some of it because I was deeply fasted. Regardless, I must spend more time opening those areas that are weak, because there is only a couple areas left to manage. Insight #4: Reality warps based on your Perception Remember that video, "Perspective Destroys Reality?" That was happening to me while I was deeply conscious and it was quite scary. I could hear cars going by outside and sometimes there would be loud, low consciousness music playing and I was go into it immediately like it was a trance. This was quite a scary experience because at that point I had surrendered all control. BUT, this flip flopping of awareness into different beliefs and then going meta is extremely important in not getting stuck into a single minded way of thinking. I am going to make sure I am cognizant of this in the future. Those are just some of the insights, besides that, I feel more open, more clear minded, more open to experience, more creative, spontaneous, overall just a healthier human being
