Waking up early makes me feel like i have control over my destiny. If i wake up past 9pm, i feel lazy! Building good morning infrastructure for me has taken a lot longer than i expected. Right now, i'm waking up around 8am and getting ready for class and school. Although, i would like to bring that time down 30 minutes every 2-3 weeks or so. Waking up at 5am regularly is a goal of mine this year!

@SQAAD The reason why i am saying this is because the time you spend here pointing this ^^ out could be used for your own self actualization. You see what i mean? -

@SQAAD Let go of everything and go inwards as deeply as you can. -

@Yannik It sounds like a good idea. Sure, you have some major projects that are nipping at your heels, but i think this 10 meditation retreat will be worth while long term. I've never done one of these but i would sure like to! -
@zambize it's a tricky terrain to navigate, that's for sure.

This is all a lot more non linear than i had expected...

@nistake Great topic idea.

@Andreas Read Maslow's "Toward a Psychology of Being" Spend more time Being, and less time thinking. Watch your mind's projections, imaginations, and feeling of separateness from that which IS. Over time, these should help.

@tryingchanges we're so used to listening to it, that it's a habit that is easily over looked.. It takes time to unwire this habit, and it's not an easy one, as this music tends to be a stimulant that strokes the ego and promotes certain behaviors that are "low consciousness".

Reduced neuroticism is a blessing

Juuuuust when i thought @Mezanti was deep in the woods working on his consciousness... .. he was actually sitting in his man cave making dank Leo memes..
-
@zambize Yeah that would suck! I'm getting used to a higher level of consciousness it feels like... Although i need to make sure i have plenty of meditation under my belt on a weekly basis so i can keep this level of calm. This has easily been the best i've felt in a looong time. Feeling extremely grateful for the position i'm currently in with everything that's going on.

I've been taking Modafinil for about a week now and i just wanted to write a little bit of my experiences with it. First off, WOW. I can't stop staying great things about it. I feel like it boost my mood, awareness, and focus by 5x. Thoughtless awareness is much much easier to rest in. And sometimes, i feel so calm that it's almost unsettling. I was surprised to find out that the body can be ready to rest/sleep but yet the mind can stay extremely awake. This has been impacting my sleep, so i need to make sure i work on fixing that. Other than that, if you have a decent meditation practice and couple this nootropic with it, your results will most likely sky rocket.

@dimitri Ooo with a mirror hmm? That is a good strategy... -
One person chases status... Another chases fame... Another chases sensual pleasures... Who really lives? The one who transcends materialism and develops an extremely deep connection with reality and Being.

@Manjushri Start.

The sauna is a great place to meditate and practice observation of the monkey mind. When i get out of the sauna, after about 20 minutes, i like to sit on a bench and just observe people working out for about 5-10 minutes. Mindfulness + Gym = Great Combo.

Best advice? God is prior to anything "else".

@7Masterkeys The feeling of separateness when in public needs to be worked through. I feel the same way; bouts of extreme bliss in solitude, but awkward rigidity and anxiety when in social situations that could stir up my ego. How effectively can you maintain thoughtless awareness? What kind of judgements do you have? These are questions that i have been working through that are helping me with embodying more Being when doing day to day tasks, accomplishing goals, etc.

Sahil Pandit replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If you're having trouble with establishing a solid meditation routine, it's most likely because your nervous system isn't calm enough to accept the fact that you're gonna sit for a prolonged period of time. This is why making sure you focus on deep breathing and relaxing your body are essential in order to improve your level of "calm"/overall. Also, coupling modafinil helps a lot. -
@LoveandPurpose Yes, continue. Leo worked hard to put together this course for you to figure out authentically who you are. It's gonna take some mental work on your part, but you will be grateful for the insights you come up with as you do the exercises.
-
@LoveandPurpose Take the LP Course and do the exercises.

Modafinil is THE best nootropic i have ever come across. If you are doing Kriya and couple modafinil with it (100mg) it feels soooo good. This is a must try for anyone who is working on their consciousness.

Be careful letting others know how much you take. Not everyone has the same level of preparedness/infrastructure as you.
