Sahil Pandit replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Recursoinominado it's important to reflect on what you learned, how you felt, the insights you had, etc. I would also like to add that moving closer to "Being" will help keep the insights. Expect the few days/weeks afterward to be confusing and full of uncertainty... it's all part of the confusion that must be moved through and integrated as well. -

Yeah that's happened to me in that past. Neatly starts to break down any materialist notions you thought reality had, hehe. -

Sahil Pandit replied to The White Belt's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The White Belt I would say that raising your consciousness brings awareness to such feelings, and thus doing so allows you to integrate parts of you that you that were previously neglected. -
If anything, fail forward.

The man with no legs wishes he had legs. The man with legs wishes he could use them better. The man who can use his legs feels like he's not good enough compared to someone else. It goes on and on... You see how this is a game you can't win?

What a surreal day... It's hard to believe that a person can depart this body so easily.... What a fragile and fleeting life this is.... I witnessed a lot of heavy emotions today.. and it got me thinking differently about some things.... Connection, Impact, and Purpose are key factors in one's life. Selflessness as well. Being willing to GIVE yourself fully without egoic recoil as well as being connected to your heart.

Sahil Pandit replied to AlphaAbundance's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AlphaAbundance I just came back from my track coach's funeral and let me tell you... In the end, the impact you make on others is what lasts. People remember you based on who you were as a person, what values you had, how you made them feel, and what your overall mission was in life. My coach was willing to give you the shoes off of his feet if that's what it took for you to compete. My coach was willing to go to your mom's house in order to PROOVE to her that her son had potential to be something better than just a jock with no future in sports... He was a man who wanted to see you develop as a person, regardless of how you felt about him. ... are you starting to see how impact matters? Hope this helps. -
@AlphaAbundance who's approval are you seeking?

What was the last behavior change you implemented into your daily life?
-
nah i'm not that sophisticated haha. Lately i've been running without a watch while focusing on enjoying the subtle aspect of it. How i feel, how my hips are turning over, how my feet feel in my shoes, how my form effects my effort levels, etc. I've found that this helps me stay connected to my source motivations more long term than tracking my miles and heart rate. But who knows! I'll get back into tracking miles and heart rate soon enough.

@ValiantSalvatore Double blankets because i'm a runner and it's important for my legs to be very warm so that the blood flow can promote healing/recovery... plus it's very comforting

Sahil Pandit replied to EmptyInside's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@EmptyInside Yeah man i've been going through this for a couple years now. When my grandma passed away in 2016 i retreated into solitude to make sure she wasn't really gone. I started meditating everyday and just "BE"ing took over my day to day live. It was great.. i had gotten my Strong Determination Sits upwards of 57 minutes and that solitude was beautiful beyond explanation. It sure is eye opening when you see how attached people are to being constantly online, seeking validation, etc... the ego games are endless.. but when you discover SOLITUDE and you make peace with it.. wow... Just know this; you're not alone on this process. There are lots of people following this solo path, although they are hard to spot in comparison to people running around constantly playing ego games. Enjoy the stillness and keep going. -
@ValiantSalvatore i appreciate the help! but i think i'm going to stick with the "less tech" route. Dark room, cool temperature, double blankets, etc... as organic as i can.. although i do see the benefit of tracking/monitoring your sleep and how that would be beneficial.
-
@student That's an amazing hint toward the path of living a higher consciousness life
-
That vow will do you much good, my sir. Ooo optimizing sleep sounds like a great idea. Actually, that's one that i have been working on. I used to sleep with up to 4-5 pillows. But now i invested into two memory foam pillows which are much more comfortable and i wake up less in the middle of the night! @Truth Addict

How are you going about that? What have you learned? Dude that's a good step forward! What is next

a LOT of valid perspectives here...

Sahil Pandit replied to onacloudynight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@onacloudynight Well put my guy, BEING over everything, huh? Perhaps you're the type that needs to go HAM on enlightenment work FIRST and then go into your Life Purpose/Impact afterwards. If you have the ability to focus directly on meditating a lot right now, i reccomend you do that. But don't half ass it. Really put yourself on the chopping block and come back with insights to share with others. -
What do you want?
