Actually that's what I meant. You get so enveloped with that shit, that you can never truly get away from it to feel liberated in life. Now can you get completely detached from reality. How can you then achieve liberation? The tail you're chasing is reality. In order for you to get rid of it, you will have to cut it which you cannot do. So you keep chasing that which is absolutely beyond your grasp. You are trying to find a way to escape or control reality by chasing this tail. You want to get a grip on it. But reality is not based on free will. So you're going round and round in circles creating a paradox, chasing that which is ultimately chasing you. In this state, you cannot get liberation. But if you stop the chase, the tail doesn't bother you anymore.
