  1. Seems like mudras cannot only be found in Yoga. https://theyogaphile.blogspot.de/2007/03/mudras-in-christian-imagery.html
  2. @Annetta Good question, I see it like this: Infinite consciousness uses all egos as vehicles. The infinite mind of consciousness gets all the data from the egos and creates whatever it wants through all egos. For this to happen the ego needs to be very aware, especially while creating.
  3. Well this kind of scares me a bit, but it's also quite fascinating. Eckhart Tolle posted a clip about joyful creation 1 or 2 days ago. https://www.eckharttollenow.com/new-home-video/?free=/141700933/Q&A-Preview---Joyful-Creation Rupert Spira posted "Ego Is the Agency of Creativity" also 2 days ago. And now Leo's newest upload is "What Is Art? - Understanding How Art Works" Do you guys check each other out ? Do you/they get simultaneous insights? I have observed this many times before. @Leo Gura Are you conscious of this? (Well probably yes)
  4. @unknownworldYes this intensity can occur during your meditation session and should also slowly take over your daily life. This doesn't contradict Leo imo, since seeking truth seems to be common in those who haven't seen through the illusion of a separate seeker yet. Effort does not necessarily equal work. Also you need to start somewhere wether it is with a meditation practice ore just becoming more aware in general. The danger in not pursuing enlightenment in the early stage could be that you just become too relaxed (as Eckhart said ) and don't do anything, not even allowing this intensity to flow through you. If you have this goal and this desire to become enlightened always as a thought in your mind and it is distracting you from becoming present then yes this is a trap. But you can have this goal in your mind and be detached from it. I think this thought will also cease to exist over time since the ego ceases to exist either. That's how I see it. Eckhart and maybe also Sadhguru are examples of people who got spontaneous realizations, but teachers like Rupert Spira, Adyashanti, Shinzen Young etc. did a lot of work. For example Rupert mentioned in one of his videos that the book of Ramana Maharshi was next to his bed for 25 years ( you can also read it on his page) http://non-duality.rupertspira.com/about/rupert-spira
  5. @unknownworld Eckhart got enlightened without pursuing it at all, but he is convinced that the longing for enlightenment is already part of the awakening. https://www.eckharttollenow.com/s/o9gg0k Some thoughts about effort or no effort on this journey. https://www.eckharttollenow.com/s/5ngwud
  6. And how can we assume then, that we are not again beginning to identify with something different than body/mind and there could be a whole new dimension of suffering? Something which would require an infinitely higher level of consciousness for liberation.

  8. One could ask what the hell should the homo sapiens sapiens do with its intelligence. AI might be the next big breakthrough in the development of (material) intelligence on planet earth, which for me seems to be quite epic. Maybe discovering ways to connect the AI with the human brain could be worth to pursue? An enlightened hyper intelligent cyber sapiens as the next species..

  15. Hi, I need some opinions from you. Please excuse my bad english. Thank you. I've been studying business informatics(which is 70% computer science) for 2 years now. It never really fullfilled me it was only a choice out of the need of security. Since years I have been interested in Psychology, and it was always a dream for me to study psychology and to become a psychotherapist. I'm from germany and if your grades aren't good enough you can either wait about 6 years to get access to psychology or you can spend 100k++ on private universities. I think I've made a wrong choice, but there still are options left: 1) I could study psychology in the netherlands, there they don't care about your grades, but I would be in debt of about 25k after the 4 years of studying. I'm already 23 and after that I'd be 28 which causes some limiting beliefs for me.. . Moving to another country wouldn't be a problem for me, since I've been moving from on place to another many times throughout my life. 2) Start working and study part time, which includes a study program where they also wouldn't care about your grades, but this would be a pretty hard road which would last at least 10 years to get the masters degree, at least I probably wouldn't be in debt. 3) Finishing my bachelors degree in business informatics and finding another way to follow this dream, but it's almost feeling like I'm selling my soul. I haven't took the life purpose course yet, but I'm going to soon. I have a decision to make quite soon, since I don't want to go into too much debt. Another question: This idea of studying psychology is popping up almost everyday recently and every month/week in the last years. Is this a sign of my intuition? I'm really thankful for every advice you give me.
  16. Wanted to share this with you. At first it might not quite seem to be a meditation Quite amazing how Eckhart "points out" your unconsciousness during this meditation. It's a free online version.
