I don't know where we going. The future is uncertain, but where I want to go my hearth knows the best. All these funny things walking in my life, full of contradictions and hard for time to time. Often striving for perfection, but failing to attain, again and again. Thinking, my biggest friend and enemy. Here once again we meet, chattering of the mind, taking shape, creating my world. Don't be afraid, together hand by hand, back to back, we will write where we want to go. Let your feelings and intuition guide you, by them true authenticity is present. Wherever you are, Wherever you go, remember that your not alone. Namaste.

Go study Walter Russel!! His ideas have been sort of rejected by todays science but his whole theory is based on polarity, transformation and how energy propogates. Watch some videos on youtube, hes truely a genius. The secret of light is probably one of his best books. I think his theories are the most fitting regarding all the subjects we discuss here. More people need to look into this! @Leo Gura if you have already, check his work out its high quality stuff!

Check out this video on meaning from Crash Course Philosophy (they are soo good)!

@PureExp Nice addition! You can actually follow the smell of freshly baked bread to the bakery if you try hard (close range ofcourse). It's a trail to the source, and if you follow that trail you basically walk into the past of how the wind flow changed that 'space' over time. It can for example go around a corner so you know how the wind blew. We don't use this or think about this at all in normal life but several hundred years ago it was useful for hunting. I always wonder if there is not something like a perception limit of scales. For example we live at our human level of perception, than there is the micro and the macro. Both ends we walk against some unknowable perception wall, either knowing how the entire universe looks like or how the smallest fundamentals look like. Could it be that because we live at this level of perception and reality, this can only make sense because we cannot look any deeper? I think that defining limits this all-knowing/all-seeing view since otherwise there wouldn't be any descrete point of view. I don't know if I make any sense here but I hope you guys understand ?

Hey members of actualized! I have been talking with this girl for now over four months and have never had a boring conversation with her. I had some feelings for a while now but today she told me aswell she is in love with me . Okay so all the romantic stuff aside, I know her very well and so does she but we have never met in real life. She lives at the otherside of the planet and is planning to come where I live in the summer or this year. After summer I'm starting a new study which takes 3 years to complete (Bsc), but I don't know how all this would fit together at this moment. Does anyone have experience with longdistant relations or someone you fell in love with which lives far away (other continent)? I don't know maybe you guys have some advice, tips, or insights that might help me along.
-
I think i should indeed try out a while and see if it is a lasting relationship. Being at a distance is so different than being around all the time so that might change in a positive way or turn out as something else. Appreciate the feedback guys! It's a tough decision for sure if one of us were to move.

Space-time is a construct of mind. You see relativity and seperation arises when you think/feel you have a distinct identity. When the identity fades away so do time and space literally, it is the awakening of timeless oneness. You can try to define it with words; you could think of it as energy or atoms but what you are actually doing is defining what you think you are. Neither do I think that empty space exists since matter is only a concept but boundless in true reality.
-
We derive meaning by relations to help each other fullfil our dreams and desires, even when true reality is meaning less, it's still fun to go for that parachute jump or anything else that makes you feel alive.

@Bodhi123 I agree with what you say, however black doesn't mean darkness/negativity, thats your negatibe perspective aswell. Black could be a clean slate, the void, oppurtinity for light.

@Alex K You are already who you need to be and where you are at. There is no need to speed things up, nature is always perfectly balanced and the most suiting at any time. You could say the ego is the past and future, I don't see it anywhere in the present moment. It is neat to have that ability but someone who has that would say exactly the same but 10 fold more. It's another form of longing that the ego wants
-
@Alex K I honestly think this is the way to realize oneself to the fullest. Knowing that life is a dream full of alternative perspectives and paradigms one can only be at peace when he stop persuing out of fear and turns it into love; for himself, people and the world.
-
@Alex K Love is a feeling of being at the place you need to be. That could be relational-wise, but is equally valid for anything else like 'your job'. It's gratitude, peace and riding the ride. You will discover what this means when you are at it, it might come in waves but eventually you will become the wave. Just follow what you guinely love to do, but be rational aswell in the longterm.
-
I think everybody will eventually find that out whos doing actualization, we really know nothing, but making it an restless journay to grasp the unknown is not enlightenments longterm goal. Not knowing is an insight we have to remembered from time to time to make us humble, but to live enlightened without grasping is to follow the path of where you find love. Things will fall into place and if you follow this body/mind alignment you can fully realize. I do agree that the path of actualization will eventually be done out of love aswell if not already. I don't mean anything like self-enquiry will automatically drop, but its the body/mind synchronisity of love that brings you to your true potential of being without resistance.
-
Fully realized humans are the ones that are completely in sync with being. This means there is no resistance to any arising thought. How would one attain this? By aligning body and mind through love. This will guide you since you are fully present and being and terms like ego and all other labels you had will be obsolete. You will feel what to do without thinking. Only then you stop walking in circles with the duality infinitely trying to comprehend things. This is the resistance after all of letting you just 'be'.

@brovakhiin Thanks a lot! Creativity goes well with these kind of things. -
@Leo Gura If enlightenment of all beings is the final goal to awaken the world, then what major system do we have to replace? Are there some acient systems that we can learn from and how would these come together? Creating a vision of how this would look like we create the movement towards it. I would like to know what would be required

Cheers mate have a nice journey! -
Bathsalts is a general term the media uses to describe all the designer drugs. This is because they all say not for human consumption and there was a time they were sold as "bath salt". Designer substances can be dangerous especially when they are not tested and you are your own guinea pig. The psychedelics deveriates of LSD (AL-LAD, 1P-LSD, ETH-LAD, PRO-LAD, ALD-52) are all fairly safe since they have the same psychopharmalogical structure. LSD has been researched widely and is physically not really dangerous and non-neurotoxic (even less than coffee), but the risks are always in psychological behaviour or mistaking the substance for something else! I won't go into the full chemical structure since those are widely discussed on fora where people have both a chemical as pharmacology background and speculate on all the mechanisms and how the molecule breaks down. Two books that hold great value into this subject are PHIKAL and TIHKAL (quite academic and not for someone who doesn't know alot about chemistry). NEVER take something that is completely new, let other people who think they know what they are doing do the dirty work for you. Don't risk your own health for something yet unknown. If you are to try something read upon all the available literature and get a sense of how people react to it. Here are some link that could be value to doing proper research: https://erowid.org/experiences/ https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/Psychoactive_substance_index Always do an allergy test with a very small dose! If you feel something is wrong don't take more. Atleast keep a week between your allergy test and a smaller beginner dose. Safety is mandatory, so go slow! Last, try to minimize use to max twice a year and don't do it after eachother in a short period of time (keep min. 2 months between). Less is more with these powerfull tools. If you get a clear message opt-out and let it settle for long period. The reflection period of your experience is the other half of the experience and maybe even more important. There are probably some test-kits online available but the best thing would be to sent it to a certified lab for GC-MS analysis.

@I_Like_Thing It sounds like you haven't tried them and yet your full of judgement. Most of the people who 'drop acid' or take ayahuasca indeed don't have the proper intention but they are also ignorant as hell and don't research further than their own nose. Luckily this is changing and the intent is becoming to learn about yourself/reality/past events and be open for different perspective you don't even know and yet people claim are so profound. It is the profoundness or awe that can break a persons believe of the materialistic/physical world and be that extra push they need to go for that spiritual actualization. You can do it your own way, but don't bash on something you probably have no experience with (yet). EDIT: Just to make clear, you can achieve enlightenment without! You don't need those at all, but for some people they can be great tools. You decide what your intention is and how to properly use them like any other method or technique. -

Shamanic use of psychedelics has been around since the dawn of man and has been linked to the development of art, language and a huge increase of human thinking. Human have lived in a symbiotic relation with these things for thousands of years and they have been the mayor root of most religions. Complete egyptian spirituality was build around use of psychedelics like the blue lotus. I find that many people here only think in the term of 'drugs' and carry alot of cultural stigma from the nixon period. You can achieve enlightenment witout the use for sure, but it will be such a huge insight to see for yourself what the illusion of maya really is! It might motivate you alot more and enable you to fully comprehend what some mystics say. Holotropic breathing can result in a somewhat similar psychedelic state without the use of a substance. It doesnt last that long and only gives you a short peak. Once again they are tools, which can be abused or learned as a research tool of the mind. -

Made this on AL-LAD a year ago, it certainly promoted my way to think into the painting, as if I could travel along the paths I draw. -
"Chronic Loneliness Is a Modern-Day Epidemic" - Fortune June 2016: http://fortune.com/2016/06/22/loneliness-is-a-modern-day-epidemic/ Do you feel lonely and what do you think it causes it? What role do you think today's society plays in this and could it have a much deeper meaning that just a lack of wanted social interaction? From early age I have had many friends and also lost them most of the time when going to a new school or location. Currently I'm in a really though situation and my life has changed a lot, due to some depression and other issues I slowly lost contact with many good friends. Now the weird thing is that I don't feel really lonely because I found interesting hobbies that can take lots of time but I see other people struggle with even being alone for a short period of time.. My idea is that the sense of loneliness mainly arises due the digital area and it's overstimulation. Instead of asking something, the knowledge age (smartphone) has all your answers and stops you from asking obvious questions and in the same regard can satisfy you always with an unlimited amount of 'new amazing' things. Now there are cases where older people are not able to do things physically anymore and also lack interaction which can be very lonely, but I find it sad that younger people also have a sense of being more and more alone and that might have different causes. So regarding to the initial questions, how do you experience this? How you ever tried to retreat from internet stuff to get more excitement from being still instead of always being in action?
-
@Leo Gura Thanks for the advice! I might go to a similar retreat where you basically meditate 7 days without talking to others. You can do some walks in the forest and bring something like an empty journal or paper to draw. Would you consider drawing or writing also as a distraction and would avoiding those help even more? It's not like doing those all day, but more like short journaling.

@Oleg F I know some people do air tours through grand canyon for example?

It indeed comes in waves or phases, but the pursuit of self-development/self-enquiry/enlightenment is not nonsense. You have to work your whole life to get these things in tune and aligned and it's not flipping some switch and everything is suddenly perfectly fine. I do think these things can blow up some dust and make things look worse in the short-term, but in the long run it will only help to realize better what you want and how to get there. If those expensive hobbies bring you great joy then don't hesitate to do them if you can afford it. If you feel like you need to earn a lot just to be happy but don't like the time you work, then consider changing one of the two. There are so many things you don't have to pay for and can bring much joy also. Please don't blame it on self-actualization etc. Since those are only tools.
