  1. So as some of you may know I left my 1st job in October due to breakdown between myself and my boss in which he actually shut down the business 2 months later. A month after leaving I got a job at a local cafe then going on a pre booked holiday a month later I get home 2 days before Christmas to a text that I was no longer needed. So I celebrated Christmas with my Family returning to my hometown and then returned to the job hunt. So I managed to gain a job a few weeks ago which is a positive but... its 1 day a week plus 1 event per month so I get very little money from that. My experience is in hospitality so I've kept my eyes open for work getting a call back 2 days ago for a job starting in a month and a half offering 20-30 hours per week. So the tough part of this is that my car has been at the mechanics for over a week now and I'm struggling for money. To be honest I think I'm going to sell this car pretty cheap if it manages to be fixed and hopefully have enough cash for another car. Today its really frustrating me so I thought I'd put out a post as I am struggling and just hoping my car comes good.
  2. Hey guys wondering if you guys had any plans to coping with addictions such as obsessive thoughts & porn that is taking up so much of my time and energy. I've done the life purpose course and even watched Leos Videos on addiction but haven't yet had a breakthrough with these 2 things. I've had alot of time on my hands lately and apart from when I'm at the gym I struggle please help.
  3. Hey everyone feeling pretty stuck in life at the moment I've tried meditation a few times over the past few years but I struggle to maintain the habit and don't resume it until months later. Pretty much my reason for getting back into it is that I'd like to become more conscious so I can better navigate these tough times I'm currently up against. Advice on creating a sustainable meditation habit would be helpful here especially one for living between 2 different houses.
  4. @GrowingUp My addiction involves humiliation which also seems to be a fear of mine.
  5. Interested in creating a website for a business idea of mine and am looking for advice about where to go to do so. I understand this research should be done by myself but if you guys have any tips or experience with creating an idea I'd love to hear from you.
  6. @Arman thank you and well said.
  7. @GrowingUp Would meditation be a good idea and if so would you recommend meditating in the same room the urges come up or start off elsewhere until you are ready to face it head on?
  8. @Arman well I think I'd like to do one on one coaching but have only done that for a handful of friends for free and will be training clients through my course soon. I also have some knowledge in cooking so maybe I could create nutrition plans for people who want to work towards a fitness goal but don't have the knowledge of how to get there with their diet which would take me further study to develop these plans. I have another idea of developing a watch label that can be worn both in the gym, at work or out to dinner but have little knowledge there but would be cool. Yeah I have plenty of things I'm passionate about but to be honest with you I don't have a lot of life experience so I'm really trying to work towards my zone of genius which is strength training through the life purpose course. In the meantime I'm trying to hustle on the side by picking up part time work and looking into websites so I can possibly start a business when I'm a bit more experienced. So yeah I don't have any cash flow at the moment but am working on that trying to get my career going and considering starting a niche business like you said the small bet I've made is doing this fitness course which is gonna cost me half of my bank account which is stressful but I'm trying to make that work ya know,
  9. So I am using one note as my journal currently which is working a treat but I've decided to buy a diary to carry with me as my phone can become distracting when using calendar etc as a diary so to speak. So I've basically just wrote down what I want to achieve for the upcoming days and ticking off or filling in blanks at the end of the day for things I achieved ticking those things off. I've had diaries in the past and only seem to keep hold of them for a few months but see a power in having a diary is there anything you guys do to keep interested in having a diary or to use it to best effect just don't really know if my current strategy will last.
  10. @Arman Well I'm currently studying certificate 3 in fitness which leaves me nearly a year from being fully qualified as a personal trainer but I got thinking about a website the other day and why wait to start looking into a website. So yeah I'm not ready to start the business yet but I really just want awareness of whats out there. I do also have an idea for a lifestyle brand to sell watches or sunglasses etc in the future just not sure where to start with that idea yet.
  11. @christianblake Yeah I can relate I've found since doing the life purpose course my anxiety has lowered especially during difficult times such as being unemployed etc before taking the course I'd get insomnia during these really rough periods. I would go up to 2 days without being able to sleep for a period of a month until I found tools to cope with this such as reading calming books, taking magnesium and going to a meditation class etc. Since taking the course this insomnia has been non existent and my anxiety has lowered just thought I'd share and was wondering if you've taken the course?
  12. @Leo Gura Hardcore I'm on a waiting list to see what happens to my back tooth that got chipped deep kinda scary but I'm a long way off enjoying that shit hahah
  13. @Vaishnavi My best explanation as to why would be my unemployment and feeling like I need to eat the elephant in 1 bite so to speak. I've really just had quite a victim mindset at times and haven't devoted myself to much apart from the gym, my girlfriend and now my certificate 3 in fitness. So yeah the devil does his work when your hands are empty and for me its when I'm out of work or feeling beaten. I know it won't last forever but it does suck when you know you could be doing so much better for yourself.
  14. So I finished the life purpose course a few days ago except I'm without a job as I was replaced due to going on a holiday. I'm best suited to strength training and helping people to gain fulfilment with themselves through doing that one on one. I've been applying for jobs in labouring and was hesitant on going back to hospitality but am considering it due to having over 2 years experience. I have enrolled in a Fitness course worth $1,500 and may struggle to pay for it due to being unemployed a year out of school. My car is on its last legs too which is scary and am resisting going on government handouts because I value independence highly also believe in earning money when you can. So some guidance would be helpful as I feel like I'm in a rougher situation than I probably am. I hope some day its all worth it and believe I'm falling into alot of traps especially when it comes to employment.
  15. That is a real eye opener I feel tattoos have a place within my life purpose but maybe indirectly thank you @Sinz
  16. I want to bring up the topic of self-defence as this issue of being walked over came about in a dream for me yesterday and today affected my brother in a rather personal way. My dream was rather a flashback from my early childhood I hadn't had in rather a long time and came about from a moment of conflict when I was in kindergarten or when I was 5 years old at school. I had a boy kick me in the head and my reaction to this was to simply walk away and not tell anyone about this issue. This lead to a rather black eye which I lied to my Mum about saying I'd ran into a pole out of fear of embarrassment. Today my brother was spoken to in a rather disrespectful way at his first job which felt personal to me as well. He had a rather smart ass comment thrown at him saying "what were you dropped on your head as a kid?" followed by rather insulting comments about his work from his boss which were also rather personal in which he copped on the chin but didn't really defend himself either. I feel like I've improved a lot since I was 6 years old obviously and feel helpless about this matter as I've always been told to walk away from conflict but at the same time have thrived off it at times. I'm a bodybuilder which doesn't make me bulletproof but am curious to know what you guys have to say on this matter & what to do when somebody crosses a personal boundary?
  17. I simply said it helps when you get advice from somebody with a higher rank opposed to lower rank as I am lower rank and would consider comments to be more reliable from a reputable member by trend.
  18. It would be good that everybody would be respected more for what they say rather than their rank. But in saying this it helps when you receive advice from somebody who is of a higher rank opposed to lower rank. Another positive of the ranking system is that you do realise who the leaders are in the forum opposed to observers etc.
  19. @aurum my man enjoyed doing this practice and Kimilla is fantastic
  20. Kundalini Awakening has made me awfully curious these past few days and am currently just listening to Kundalini Activation music. I believe yoga is the way to go about this properly but am really in the dark about all of this. What has brought me to this practice is the fact that I have had this deep interest in tattoos for about 5 years now and never really known why. This journey of discovering and becoming fascinated with tattoos has almost lead me to door step of Kundalini. Not really sure about it all at this point in time and direction would be much appreciated.
