Finding stage yellow is a little difficult but I think that finding stage green is a lot easier and you have higher chances of running into yellow beings that are mixed in with the greens. Meetup.com can show you - seminars - drum circles - psychedelic meetups - meditation retreats And such

I feel like there is already enough content on this channel so that if Leo never uploaded ever again...I would have all the necessary tools for self actualization...

@Paul92 you are missing your full potential! If your fulfillment level are a 5/10 as a non-self actualizing person, your happiness levels as a self-actualized person is 1000/10. -
I'm ENTP-A... I would consider myself very logical and stuck in my head but I love discussing ideas with people and bouncing my ideas off of other people... I'm a classic debater and I often start arguments for fun.

Hey guys I was sniffing through the bible in search of some holy wisdom and I came across some great quotes about ego death so I thought I'd share. Luke 17:20 The Coming of the Kingdom of God 20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst. Luke 17:30 It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything.32 Remember Lot’s wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” [36] [e] 37 “Where, Lord?” they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.” Add to ur commonplace book

I couldn't agree more and I enjoy reading the Upanishads and the Gita as their explanations of God (Self, Brahman) are more straight-forward and to the point. But I also love to see how beautifully twisted the Bible can be in the hands of the ego-mind. Now that I can see the biblical teachings through the lens of nonduality, they are much more powerful and clear. Here is another beautiful quote from Job 33:6@Big Guru Balls "I am the same as you in God's sight." -
Read a book for a while...not something too technical but something that will relax you before bed like a biography or a spiritual text such as the bible or the bhagavad gita

Hey man, I've never plugged a substance before but I've washed my asshole w/ water jets many times and I'll tell you that there's nothing to be worried about...in fact it feels really nice. Also, pretty sure 5-meo dmt is illegal in many countries and there are no cultures that I am aware of that have openly accepted the use of powerful psychedelics like 5meo for spiritual growth. I have never tried 5meo but I just wanted to point out that your excuses for NOT doing it are not justified...just trying to help. -
Adam M replied to Annoynymous's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes. Almost all people identify with their beliefs about the world. This literally means that if someone believes that God exists, and you disagree with them, they will get defensive as if their life is being threatened. This is because this belief has been merged with their self identity. Therefore, by attacking/disagreeing with someone else's point of view, you are literally attacking their very identity which results in defensiveness and can lead to lashing out in anger/fear. This is why it is so difficult for a self-actualising teen to share some of these ideas with their parents for example. Many of these counter-intuitive principles that Leo and other teachers teach are in direct conflict with the traditional beliefs of your parents. See: The Mechanics of Belief, and How Ideology Works for a more in depth discussion about this. -

@Annoynymous An example of ego backlash would be going on a long meditation retreat with lots of deep insight and then coming back home only to binge on watching netflix and porn. It's almost as if you are trying to sabotage your own growth. The body and the idea of self (ego) is a complex system. Systems dont like to be changed because they want to maintain equilibrium. This is called homeostasis. This is why you resist change...even if it is positive change. Check out Leo's video "how to stop backsliding" and also read the book "Mastery" by George Leonard. Personal development must be done in slow and strategic steps...integrating one habit at a time, otherwise, if you are trying to make too great of a change to the structure of your life all at once - the system that is you are will resist it with self-sabotaging actions. Furthermore, enlightenment work will stir up the most "ego backlash" because the result of successful enlightenment work is the complete annihilation of the self. This is the exact opposite of what "you" want. Therefore, you will do anything and everything in your power to resist your imminent destruction. The purpose of ego backlash is to orient your attention outwards. This is so that you do not discover the Truth...that you are a fiction. -

Convince yourself otherwise. Its not like Leo invented this idea. This idea has been around for thousands of years and is the core of almost all spiritual teachings. -
Adam M replied to non_nothing's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@non_nothing Did you watch the ox-herding lectures that Leo posted? Also, how am I supposed to realize Truth if I do not thirst for it in the beginning? -
Reading through the comments section of this video was a good exercise for me to try and understand the Christian Fundamentalists stage Blue mindset. At first it was very difficult for me to accept the demonization and misunderstanding of the New Age but I think it's a good exercise for moving into stage Yellow.

This has been my experience at a Buddhist monastery in Thailand. There are many teachers/monks whom I would consider Turquiose in the spiritual and moral line but blue in other lines.

Adam M replied to Ampresus's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ampresus I reccomend reading New Age books...learn about astrology...aliens...witchcraft...occult...paranormal phenomena...astral projection...all of it is awesome! Very interesting to read and is very good for opening up your kind to new ideas. CAUTION: Many of these topics can be very deep rabbit holes that many people get lost in. Dont blindly believe everything you read but also dont dismiss "silly" sounding ideas. Be openminded. Read whatever peaks your interest friend! Ps...chicks dig guys who meditate and make good eye contact...;) -

What is an object? What is a physical law? What is rationality? Hint:they are ideas that you have projected onto your direct experince. What is left when you cease to make these false assumptions/projections? See for yourself. Stop arguing stupid shit now...its wasting your time and that of others. Your inquiry has already been answered. There's nothing left to argue or debate about. -
try again but harder...enlightenment is not some kind of frivolous pursuit like learning a new instrument. Only when your highest priority is Truth/Enlightenement does the real enlightenment start. Truth is not my highest priority so I waste my time studying enlightenment and doing other things like traveling. I honestly feel that I am not ready yet to honestly and seriously pursue enlightenment at all costs. How can u have tried so many times before if you clearly dont understand many of the basic principles of doing enlightenment work?

Matthew 6-7 New International Version (NIV) Giving to the Needy 6 “Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2 “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 3 But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Prayer 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation,[a] but deliver us from the evil one.’ 14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Fasting 16 “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Treasures in Heaven 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d]your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. Do Not Worry 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Judging Others 7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Ask, Seek, Knock 7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. The Narrow and Wide Gates 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. True and False Prophets 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. True and False Disciples 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day,‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ The Wise and Foolish Builders 24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” 28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law. Make sure to read between the lines here...lots of wisdom but very easy to misinterpret with the wrong metaphysical context Enjoy

Lol that would be great...I have no doubt that your workshop would be full if you decide to visit Toronto!

My friend and I would definitely attend if you came to Toronto...I'm even considering flying out to either Chicago or NYC to attend one of these meetings!

Buy a very small, pocket sized notebook and carry it with you everywhere you go. When you leave the house you should think "Have I got my wallet? My cell phone? My car keys? My pocket notebook + pen?" You will have ideas and important thoughts throughout the day and you will want to write them down. Capturing your ideas is a very important habit because sometimes your mind is blessed with ideas and thoughts at random times and it would be a waste not to plant the seed in your notebook. Your ideas are seeds and your pocket notebook is the garden in which you plant them. DaVinci urged all of his followers to carry around a sketchbook everywhere they go just as he did so that they can capture their important observations that they make about life. Furthermore, once you write some of these ideas down and your notebook begins to get full, you can take some time to add the most important ideas to your commonplace book which is akin to watering the seeds. Whenever you are feeling unmotivated you can open your pocket notebook and read some the inspiring quotes that you thought of or that you wrote down. You will be like Marcus Aurelius, constantly writing notes to yourself about how to live a good life. I've recently started doing this because I am currently reading DaVinci's biography and I thought that it was a fantastic idea (it also is important for my life purpose) and I've already has some amazing results. Tip: get the smallest one you can find so that you are motivated to carry it around
