This is a 9 part series and I strongly recommend watching all of the nine parts. It's absolutely mindblowing. I went through multiple cycles of "This can't be real, could this be an act or a disorder?" to "OMG, this is real!!" Note: There is some controversy around these persons (can't believe I am saying that ) but everything is directly addressed in part 5. Reality is indeed stranger than fiction (or reality is just a strange fiction?!?).

Society gives great voice to those young millionaires who promote the idea that everyone can make it. Classic survivorship bias. Also, there's the constant anxiety that time is running out and the window of opportunity is closing, this causes unnecessary stress. I was part of a start-up for a while but the very idea that we might get funding and start full time on a project that has little propspects of success caused me so much stress that it was unbearable.

I am passionate about making money. Money is the ultimate metric that what you do has relevance and value in the society. It also gives great sense of control and security.

@Yeah Yeah You are still young, you have good chances, especially if you are in a western country. If you are not, priority number 1 is to escape. You are also disillusioned about life, closer to reality, that gives you an edge over the fools. Unfortunatelly the struggle is not optional. Most of us will have to struggle to the end. That seems to be by design. Hard limits, solid boundaries, feelings of drag, grift, grind, exhaustion. Imagine being all powerful and your will materializing instantly, for eternity, you would probably design a world like ours for a change. That's how I think about it.

I would argue that the majority of people want that creative freedom but not everyone can have it. What is required is insane flexibility, pain tolerance, requisite variety, intelligence and mostly luck. Realisitcally only a certain percent of such people will be able to enjoy such life, just like a single spermatozoid will fertilize the egg.
