  1. Absolutely! Being more aware and mindful about anything your doing makes it that much more enjoyable and orgasm is not excluded. I've never had better orgasm than when I started this journey. Last one must have been close to half a minute and quite euphoric. Can just imagine how it must be having sex with someone you trust fully and who are on the same "frequency" as you.
  2. I remember hearing Rupert Spira mentioned something about orgasm and how in a brief moment when we reach orgasm we are "out of ego". With the release in that moment we feel such pleasure of just Being. So, maybe it is related...
  3. Get to the bottom of whats true. Everything else is false. Very simple, but takes time and you need to really want to find out
  4. Exactly But again, it's quite cool I guess. Makes you think what else could be an illusion, haha. I tried to see my "aura" once. Stared in the mirror for 45 sec at a black dot I had place on my forehead. Held my hands at both sides of my head so that I kinda boxed in my head. The fading away effect started occurring, my face became obscured. After the 45 seconds you slowly remove your hands away and out to the side and your supposed to see your "aura". What I noticed was a light blue light surrounding my head. Illusion? Just pretty cool what you can see.
  5. Yeah, done a couple of times. You'll get distortions in your visual field, your face will maybe look silly, "fade away" at times, you can see colours. I mean, all sorts of things. It's pretty cool doesn't really mean anything though But I guess it could open you up to exploring your experience more. Maybe this distortion could be happening all the time without you knowing it? Broaden your perspective I guess, but the actual things that happen are just phenomena, nothing else.
  6. Couldn't agree more. I moved to Australia from Norway. Had no choice but to get out of my comfort zone. The big cities, pretty much left alone and it's up to you to figure out everything. It's IMO one of the best things you can do in your life, to at least travel a lot(alone) or move when you feel stagnant and too comfortable. Nothing profound ever comes in the comfort zone.
  7. You should try to not have any expectations. Just do whatever you do as effortless as possible. Meditate to meditate. Self-Inquiry to Self-Inquiry Seek Truth to Seek Truth If you just want to be at peace, this also comes when you stop trying to control everything. Let life guide you, flow with it. Learn to notice the signs life give you(which ofc essentially is you). Happiness with Ego is only conditioned on whatever external thing, money, a nice car etc and is ALWAYS temporary. But surrendering to life and doing the above things will lead to you being fully content with no dependency on external things. It takes time though. It's a process. Try to be more present, observe your life from 3rd person and flow with whatever comes helps a lot though
  8. Become aware who you're fighting against. It's you! You are the one creating blocks for yourself. The good thing is, you have the power to change that. Yes, you should absolutely do what makes you happy. Try to come up with ideas of how you can maybe make some money with that. If you feel that you are down in the dump, there's only one way to go, and that's up! Continue your workout habit, that is very good. Give yourself credit for those things that you manage to do. Realise that YOU are the one motivating yourself to do that, so why would you not be able to start a meditation habit, or anything else? You can :-) Try to see the good things that you ARE doing and build on that. That will gradually manifest in other aspects of your life as well.
  9. @PureExp I so agree with you. It's so funny to see through the outer layers of your own ignorance. Because we all are, to some degree. Having these insights, realisations and simply just pure understanding of your own ignorance is truly wonderful As you peel of one layer and laugh, you see another one later. The depth of it can't be understood.
  10. Most people are attached to their ego, to their story of who they are. You're not truly happy unless you detach from that though, but since they don't know about it, in their world, they're happy. Going after their goals, raising family etc. Nothing wrong with any of that, its just how it works if you're not aware of your own psychology. However, I think there some part of everyone, deep down something telling them that they could be doing something more or something else, subconsciously
  11. I feel that this whole higher/lower vibration=frequency thing is just ways to communicate it. What non duality tries to point to is that that is all there is. One pure consciousness. The only reason it might feel as though your reaching higher frequencies or "levels" of consciousness if because of the filters of the Egoic mind being peeled off or seen through. The more of the illusion you see through, the more you find whats true and you'll know it. So, in a sense there might be a relationship between it yes, but I guess not in the way most people look at it. As far as my experience goes, thats my take on it anyway.
  12. Yeah, what I thought as well. Thanks again for your reply Yeah, these are interesting times. Looking forward to exploring the realms of the psychedelics in the future myself and eventually 5-Meo. Cheers!
  13. Thanks for your in depth reply! That is interesting. The main reason for asking is because I felt like that on a heavy weed dose a while back. Like literally my heart beating out of my body and like bombs going off in my head. My intention was to meditate and try to experience ego-death. Also to note: I didn't have any tolerance really, and this was strong weed. Obviously I know that weed can't even compare to 5 MeO, but still. So this is what happened: It came on pretty quickly and as it started to get more intense I repeated to myself; "I surrender", "Fuck it, let me die, its fine" over and over(kinda like you). The beats got slower and heavier for every beat. Every time I said this to myself it felt like a bomb went off in my head, haha. I remember my breath was trembling a bit, but at the same time I found it interesting because I was still there unaffected, if you know what I mean? It felt almost like I could control mentally how terrifying it was. When I didn't "get anywhere" else I turned on some nice music and I came out of the "panic" nicely. After this I looked up if people might of had similar experiences on weed and I found some suggesting it was a panic attack. That's what I've been thinking as well for a while, but it seems kinda similar to what you describe. Obviously I didn't have any non-dual breakthrough. The only thing I got from it might be how scared my ego was of surrendering? Which is good, I guess. On later highs though it was more pleasurable, still with the heartbeats and the pulse rising, but more like energy flowing through me as well. Haven't smoked weed since that though because I want to experiment with something stronger, haha. I don't really know if it was a panic attack or a little taste of ego-death(but where I was not completely ready for it)? What's your thoughts?
  14. How exactly does it feel like your dying? Like does it feel like your physically dying? Heart stopping or anything like that? Or like your just fading off into nothing... Like the experience where this feeling of "you" resides in your body changes? How would you describe it?
  15. Thanks for replying Psilocybin was kinda what I was thinking of myself. Didn't know about that alcohol extract though. Interesting that you say go straight to 5-MeO after mushrooms. So, don't bother with "going up the pyramid" to like, LSD, DMT etc? Just increasing the dosage of that mushroom extract should be enough? I like that
  16. Want to start experimenting with psychedelics. Only used weed for a while, but not for like 1 month or so. Doesn't really appeal to me for this work. Any recommendations as to what to start with and dosages? Thanks for any advice
  17. Hey, Matt! I get a bit back pain/ache as well meditating. Just find a position that makes your spine the most erect, maybe use a pillow to sit on to elevate your seat a bit. That helps get the posture right. When it comes to your A,B and C, I wouldn't suggest flexing the abs since your supposed to completely relax. Gets me back to my first point. Just make sure you sit comfortably enough to not get the back pain, lean against a pillow or the wall if you have to, I do that mostly. I don't know if you might have some issues around your abdomen/spine/lower back that causes this though, but this is what works for me. When I sit with my back erect with no leaning against something. Just slightly roll your shoulders back and lift up your chest, helps with the posture. When I sit against a pillow or something else, I pretty much do the same thing, but it obviously relieves more tension from my back. Maybe try different postures.
  18. Yes, exactly. This has become quite clear to me in my own experience from meditation and doing "consciousness work." Once you experience "emptiness" you know what it is, know what it feels like and its beautiful, but getting attached to that experience will prevent you from experiencing it again. Since your ego is then expecting it or wanting something to happen, i.e. not letting go and accepting what is. When I stopped "caring" and just meditated to meditate, I had more of these insights and experiences than before, and stronger. Phenomena that happen are just phenomena that happen. Nothing more. When they do, just realise it did happen and move on. The experience might be cool or bring with it a new understanding(most of the time), just take that and live your life as you would otherwise. In a way , yes. You see more clearly that the thoughts are just thoughts and so very not you. Nothing to do with you. You just let them be, do their thing. I mean, they circulate aimlessly around anyway don't they? It only doesn't feel that way because of ego attachment to them. This is good because you're then detached from your thoughts and you can observe them more in daily life. In my experience, all of this becomes the most obvious and have the best effect when you bring it into everything your doing in your day. Not just when your meditating. Of course that requires a fair bit of meditation already. "Because there is no outer left" that's a very nice description. In some of my meditations this is very accurate. Once it felt like I resided in my chest area. Like I was the energy inside the body, not the body itself. Hence, "because there is no outer left", you just feel that everything takes place in awareness, consciousness or whatever. And this is very clear and real to you. Sometimes its like a void of silence or a bubble of silence, and everything outside of that is just "meh". You just understand what's real and what's illusory a lot more. Hope this helps
