The experience prompts the child to detach from their surroundings as a way to manage the trauma." Traumatic experiences have nothing to do with being afraid of truth. You dont get derealized because of truth. You get derealized because of Stress Management. You could also watching a movie about sadistic murdering of a Baby which is just fiction and you can get derealized after watching this. So this has nothing to do with running away from truth but from too much Stress. "Suffering is not real, if you believe suffering is real then it is real." thats what I mean. For most people suffering is therefore real. Dont say it is not real when its real for most.

@Razard86 derealization is not the fear of knowing whats true. It is a coping Mechanism which prevents you from getting traumatized. For Example you really got shocked (car accident). Derealization helps you to feel dream like and overcome the situation. You stop taking life so seriously? You still need to live in this World and survive. Thats still a lot of suffering. And suffering is real, because you experience it as suffering

Many people here suffer from derealization. Derealization has a strong connection to the material solipsism view and is a mental illness which is based on fear. A Coping Mechanism from the ego. Hope you can get help

@Blackhawk it just seems you dont understand basic things like what control means when taking psychedelics. And based on your commends you seem to have some issues going on. You blame others. You seem to react too strong on external things. Paranoid like Loosing your Job.. You Did not loose your Job. If you ever give psychedelics a chance again have some basics in check. Be Jones to yourself, what really is making your trips bad all the times. Psychedelics are mirrors of your mental state

13g dried? If I dry my truffles in a dryer(40 grad Celsius 24 hours), they loose 70% of their weight. So 10 g fresh truffles are 3 g dried. There are Truffle calculator out there which are total wrong. Really dried truffles loose 70% of their weight I have no experience with malt (I will in future)

@Jannes what is a mild dose for you on Truffle (dried or fresh) ? What did you experienced there? I think 5 meo malt is best to start if you want to go deeper. 5 meo dmt is even on low dose sometimes very wild

@Blackhawk man...step a little back.. You really sound like you have some mental problem. I recommend dont do any psychedelica again until you have basic maturity for this work

Datura.. Can you use it without Brain damage? Is it for anything spiritual useful? No one recommends it really. I just ask me because datura grows in my garden. I dont plan to take datura, just play mind games. And I am curious Back in europe, witches mixed datura with other substances like Opium and so on. There must be some usage

@Razard86 YESS!! That I also found out. Focus on breathing during psychedelic experiences gives me so much stability. I tested it many times where my body clearly went to stress mode (loud heart beating, deep feeling in stomach that things go bad). Just focus on breath and after some minutes...Fear GONE! However i never experienced an ego death and this is the most frightening thing I fear. How did you handle a situation like an full blown ego death on psychedelics? Did you also focused on the breath? Was it fine or torture?

Everyone experiences childhood trauma, at least your birth brings trauma to any human. It could be that you simply blocked the memory of traumas which happened to you. You could be mental unstable from the beginning. Analyse why. Depression maybe?
