@Daimon I've been doing this stuff for over 20 years. I have everything I've ever wanted and I am loving wanting more things; relationships, deeper relationships, traveling, experiences, etc. The single most effective practice I've experienced is writing what I want on a piece of paper with a pencil and taping it to the wall in the most common place in my house. Seeing it all the time, everyday. Moving the vision from in the head to in the physical seeable world is powerful. Focusing on it everyday is manifesting. It's not that shit will fall out of superposition unexplainably simply from having focused (though sometimes it will), it's that the focus makes the journey of what's wanted fun, effortless, and a repeating loop of inspiration and satisfaction. IME, affirmations are about acceptance and loving our selves - positive reprogramming. It's important stuff. But, focusing on wanted tends to bring up our inner obstacles, the frustration of how much "can't do it" (doubt and fear) is in us, and that's the way we can know what to let go of. Then we have a very personal reason, determination, understanding and appreciation of "why do the practices". Doing the practices without a vision of wanted would be so hard I would think most people would say fuck that all together. In my opinion, you are unstoppable and can literally do anything. Anything. Evidenced by having already learned to communicate in English. That is far more sophisticated and nuanced than just about anything else you'll want to do. (For now)

@Hsinav Hard to know if you're spending conscious time with anything without daily meditation. My trap radar is tinglin. I'm with you on the 2 year olds situation. I laughed out loud at can't even take a shit. Doubly on the piss comment. So funny. That's so true. I used to lock the bathroom door to try and just get that 5 minutes in, but then you gotta listen to them hitting the door etc. Hilarious. Where there's a will, there's a way though. Reminds me of an Alan Watt's quote that is something like - if you can't meditate in a boiler room, you're not really meditating. The boiler room would be easier than the kids though. Lol.

@cetus56 Is this helpful?...(just where I'm at) Each of us are The One, The Absolute. Whatever we're experiencing right now, IS the One experiencing the One. So we can not imagine or perceive or look at or touch the One, but we can let go of concepts, add a pyschadelic to let the deeper thinking systems go, and be AWARE of all that we are not, we can perceive all else FROM the absolute that we are, but never observe the Absolute. We are already it to the same degree - regardless of the degree we are aware that we are it.

@Joseph Maynor The ego is within the dream, or illusion, thought thinks it's doing something, anything, like experiencing emotions, but it's not - that's just thought on thought. Thought is the very fabric of the big hallucination. The ego doesn't actually exist so it is not creating anything. There is only love and it's illusion. To be without bad emotion is to be without thought.

@Barna Was just wondering if you had anything on that. I have 'channeled' as well. Not sure what else to refer to it as because it was not the same as nonduality experience. As far as I can see, we are the connection between quantum or superposition or everything everywhere....and physical, or positionally certain, or manifested (atomic). I think when there is something that just can not be seen, it might be me.

@Max_V Love is what we are. Then there is what we do; thinking, talking, feeling, etc. So if something is sad, it is your thoughts, not what you are. What you are is perfect. Through meditation, it can be experienced. (And of course, psychedelics are helpful for major glimpses) As it is not known yet, an analogy might be that you surely at some point have watched a scary movie and been scared. Then when the movie is over, you're like "oh, it was a movie. I'm actually alright". It's absolutely like that, times infinity.

@Max_V You are eternal love, dreaming Max_V. If the "end" of the dream makes you feel sad, then you might consider doing what you want, right now. That's why you are.

You're experiencing the thought tree you planted. Plant a new one by writing it down and taping it on the wall. Let it be that simple. You can't see a seed while it's in the ground. Water it. Shed light on it. Be patient and know it will grow. You CAN do it because you're fucking awesome Alex (Alexo?)

I have kids under 10. My wife and I meditate everyday. We just explained it to them, and they do their thing while we mediatate. Same goes for exercise.
