@Heart of Space Dude! I hope I'm not offending you, but in all seriousness, you are so funny man. I can't stop laughing! Is it just me???? Are you trying to be funny or no? -
Nahm replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Heart of Space you ever think about trying a career in stand up? I am not all making fun or being facetious, I really mean it. I feel like you have a gift of reductionism or something, and if you wrote a little material about the current trends and Kardasian shows of the world, and gave your view on it, it would be so funny! Maybe a YouTube channel? Lot of money and independence to be gained with a YouTube channel. Again, this is not deep sarcasm, I really mean it. Remember Stephen Wright? That special ordinary or bland that he brings to life without using any typical inflection or intonality, I think you may have that gift. -

@MiracleMan I was going to say 98%. He's such a ball buster. -

@AleksM @pluto First I want to say you both rock. I have nothing but love for the pioneers and you both are the truth in my book. I'm wondering what you guys made of the video. He explains the mpg of the car "in the city" is 27 -28, then drives it "in the city", non stop, and reports (I couldn't actually see it in the video) that the mpg is reading around 47. It seems to me skepticism has nothing to do with an understanding that "city mpg" incorporates starting and stopping, as more fuel is used to accelerate a 1-2 ton piece of metal, in comparison to allowing it to continue rolling "through the city". Am I in a critical, cranky, skeptical state of mind? I honestly wanted to see a contemporary Tesla in the video. -
YEAH!!!!!! jk

@MiracleMan say to them I forgive you. Forgive yourself for internalizing in the way you did. The inspiration to let it go, is literally the inspiration to let it go. It's funny and elusive like that, because you are it. The infinite love that you are, that you probably want to experience, is not tripped up on forgiving anyone because it is real and it is infinite love. If you want to experience more of the infinite love that you are, adopt it's perspective in the sense that it is love and love is all things. It is impossible for it to not be loving something because it is love and it is what all things (an illusion) are made out of. Can you love them? Can you genuinely see the best for them, the best of them? Can you see they do what they do, you do what you do, and if you were them with their experiences, you would do what they do? It is impossible to experience love without loving. Imo. The illusion is persistent though.

@CuteCornDog Glad to hear you're back! That is a rough few years!!! With respect to reactional thinking and actions, I used to be right there man. I found that meditation helped, especially when I could hear some shit going on and I wanted to go "solve" or "right" it. I was committed to the meditation so I would finish out my 22 minutes. I found that shit I was hearing....didn't need anything from me, I just thought it did. I started to see just how much everything kept right the fuck on going without any interaction from me at all. It became very freeing. I eventually discovered that where reactional thinking ends, creative thinking begins. It did require me to focus on what I wanted in my life, but that was made very easy by the practice of daily meditation, as it slowed my thoughts and removed the shitty emotion tree I had connected with those thoughts. When I spend the time to raise my consciousness, my perspective, the bird's eye view made things so much clearer and easier. With out all that weight, I just naturally started to feel creative. I'm not using the word creative here like I painted murals and got into interior design. I mean I felt creative about my life. The job I was 'stuck in' suddenly appeared to me as simply one in a million arbitrary jobs. It became clear that I could pick from millions of jobs. It became clear to me that my relationships were all relative to me and that I had the ability to be what I wanted to be, and that ever person I interacted with was always and solely offering the them that matched that me. When I changed the me, all the them's changed too.

@CuteCornDog people have treated me poorly as well. I used to be what I referred to as highly empathic. It was like I always felt like people around me felt. Sometimes it was a good thing, but growing up, my dad had anger issues for a few years. Huge heart, but angry af 24/7 for like three years. Greatest gift of my life. I got a little hell bent on finding the truth, getting to the very bottom of all this, and most definitly not living a life where work meant anger towards my family. I wanted to understand everything about anger so that never happened to me. I studied Buddhism and QM and my mind started to expand. I wanted the answer to What The Fuck Is Even Going On Here. It took twenty some years of meditation, had a yada, but I got it. I found out. It was worth it. I hope your troubles stoke the One in you like it did me. I hope the shitheads in your life are a gift to you. I hope they help you to realize some degree of the infinite love that you are. Think about it, if you were not love itself, you would have no relative point to even perceive that anything or anyone is being a shithead. That's a comparison. They are a shithead and that's because you know that is not how you want to be treated, that is not what you want? Right? That means you know what you want. Make a habit out of shifting your focus to what you want. Write it down, draw it, talk about it, think only about it...It takes a while. In the meantime, meditate, blah, blah, blah. If you are looking for a sign not to kill yourself, this is it.

@Santiago While I think it is a practical & respectable approach, doing all those things to be rid of a childhood issue is in actuality, putting a tremendous amount of focus right on the issue, keeping it in your thoughts and emotions. Keeping it in your life. When someone chooses to put their focus solely on what they want, afterwards, they say things like letting go is an art, it's all about surrending, give it to God, relief, releasing, giving up control. To surrender is to stop fighting. You may feel like you have to beat this thing, but I suggest you have to surrender. Love always wins because love itself is the one. Some references that might be entertaining to you: Einstein said, “The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.” Some guy on a stellar forum said, "It's not truly about forgiving the other person, more deeply, it's about forgiving ourselves for what we internalized. If we want to be without something, we must let it go." Also, if you're in a place to be more freed by science than philosophy, YouTube quantum erasure. It might help you to accept that there is only "now", and that none of your past or any of your memories are accurate at all. If that sounds foreign to you, then it probably stands to aid in liberating you.

@Marinus When you give the Oneness perspective, that you are overall seeking, a chance, you might feel better. All of those girls, in actuality, are also the one that you are, having an experience, of being you and all of those girls. It's hilarious because, you, the one, are doing it. It really is funny if you consider that and at least for a moment, adopt that perspective. Or, I'm assuming too much, you are not seeking any oneness, you prefer serperatism, and would rather believe there is something, or anything at all to even be concerned about. Also, conscious breathing is a hell of a drug.

Nahm replied to Privet's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Privet the whole thing is you, not other. Perhaps you've made a belief about a down side of sexual energy and are trying to create another belief to right that belief. Perhaps there is a happening in your past related to sex that you are perpetuating in the now with a course of 'correction'. I'm probably way off here. Just a shot at helping. -

@Alexo45 disown those hands. See that they are not yours. Watch them as they do something to help 'someone else' and it gets clear quick. -

@Ilya back erect for a long time, a long time ago, in a dude far far away, I was in a perpetual conceptual egotistical loop of thinking. Then I gave up. Now I don't think anymore. We think about what we see, because thinking is transcendent to seeing. We are aware of what we are thinking, because awareness is transcendent to thinking, and we are being what we are aware of, because being is transcendent to awareness. Love though, wow, just wow af. -
Nahm replied to The Monk's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The Monk sounds like an epiphany or revelation. (Just words of course) I'm a little confused, it sounds like you had a preferable experience on the path you want, and are framing it up in hindsight in a derogatory way. I suggest you hold appreciative thoughts when reflecting on your experience, I believe that brings more of the same. Your attention is the most powerful thing known to man. Know that you are headed right back to the infinite love you touched on - upon your death. Enjoy the hide and seek. Nothing should be so serious. Pragmatically speaking, the One, the Love, IS. It is you that adds to it, preventing an experience of it. Next time you are in a good state of mind, simply write on your wall, what you want in your life. See it multiple times a day. It will prime you and become. Don't try to will things or solve things. Letting go is the art for you to master. The complexity is in what we add, the simplicity of the path is meditation, healthy eating, excercise, letting go / state of surrender (for me). Also, shrooms. Build the foundation first. -
I saw a psychologist once and she got all pissy with me and closed her business the very next day.

Slap yourself across the face. For the senses, but also for this post in general. Two birds one slap.

In response to saying "I don't have any beliefs", I have been told I'm atheist, agnostic, gnostic, unspiritual, empty, in denial, going to hell, a sinner, an irresponsible parent, and more recently "full of shit". Someone can only see what they can see. It's not what I'm seeing. Goes the other way to. If you identify with Pantheism, you've added it to the list of things to let go of to get to the truth. Lot's of religions are often a solid part of the path though, in the sense we learn them and begin to see that they are indeed, as initially presented, beliefs.

All science happens in an illusion. Ironically, science 'proved', or revealed, a hundred years ago, that there is indeed no matter. Is that hilarious to anyone else?

Nahm replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM I am the true self, I am aware of Nahm. I am not aware of a soul. -
Nahm replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM I exist, Nahm is a hallucination, Nahm is not a seperate thing, not even a soul. Nahm is relativity, not a thing. This is the experience now. I wonder if we're saying the same thing, in different ways, or if you find you are a soul with properties that seperate your self from the One, from Love. -
@AleksM I have been through those stages. They aren't relative to my experience any more. I may have worded my inquiry poorly. The gentleman in the video refers to our individual souls. He also focuses on this earthly experience as a means to determining 'who' we are. I found I do not have an individual person, nor individual soul, nor anything individual about me at all. That I am not a someone at all. I found that, ime, to be completely conceptual. Are you saying the guy in the video has not reached this 'stage' and thus he still holds a belief he has a soul? Do you feel you have an individual soul?
-
Nahm replied to AleksM's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@AleksM So you believe in individual souls? I'm convinced you've seen behind the curtain. Can you offer some of your experience to me on these two perspectives? My experience has told me otherwise, so I'm very curious. Thanks! Great video though btw. -
Nahm replied to Laputan Machine's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Laputan Machine math takes the mind for a stroll and awareness of spirit is. There's a ton of physical benefits to brain development, such as math, as well. At the same time, it's all reducible to zero and accountable back through the imaginations of a few people. Math is so weird like that. Like everything else.
