  1. @Anthony1000 everything you’ve done lead you to be what you are now. You can do anything you think you can do. I have a buddy was doing well working in finance and at age 45 he moved to the west US to work in the forestry service. He’s very happy he did it. It worked out great.
  2. @Joseph Maynor there’s an experience to be had within that is infinitely larger than everything in the universe.
  3. @SOUL it’s a joke. Sorry!
  4. @SOUL that’s not what your mom said
  5. @Angelo John Gage I haven’t experienced evolution, nor not being conscious, or a brain, or software, nor have I experienced being another species, so i don’t have any answers for those beliefs. Not trying to be difficult. It is true, nothing is hidden from you.
  6. @Angelo John Gage evolution did not create consciousness, and you have no experience being an animal.
  7. @Angelo John Gage You didn’t experience evolution.
  8. @Angelo John Gage If you were going to create the universe and experience it in absolute ignorant bliss, you’d have to cover up a lot of breadcrumbs. I’m not saying you do or don’t have control. I’m saying look at this: “I have control in this reality” . Look at it for ten minutes or so. It’s infinite. So it’ll come right out of it. Get all your beliefs and assumptions out of the way, and take a really good look at that phrase.
  9. @Deep It’s a problem without patience, and patience isn’t needed with unconditional love. If they experienced God, they never saw any “mundane bullshit” again. It’s getting there that’s rough.
  10. @Angelo John Gage If you were God, All, Infinite, there would not be any other thing or no thing to use for anything. That’s an idea, not something in your experience. That’s a belief. The big game is a riddle that you yourself created, and the solution is always within arm’s reach for you. The only way to solve it, is to distinguish and let go of all beliefs, and analyze your own actual experience. It’s so hidden in plain sight, it’s sickening.
  11. @Pointer hell yeah it’s uncomfortable. The intention might not be to know what you are.
  12. @Angelo John Gage What would you make them out of?
  13. @kieranperez I find it impossible to think and focus on stomach breathing at the same time.
  14. @Angelo John Gage If you were going to make a universe and experience it not knowing who you actually are, how would you go about doing it? To start with, how would you ‘get there’ without revealing who you really are?
  15. @kieranperez Pick wanted thoughts. When a negative thought comes, say the opposite to yourself a few times. Either is true in the sense, it’s only a thought. The distinction between what’s happening, and a thought, is important.
  16. @Dsteller “living” is suffering. You’re not alive though. So suffering is illusionary.
  17. @Faceless that’s the why of meditation / self inquiry. That was a quick circle.
  18. @Psyche_92 I am not familiar with the course, only resistant thinking. I suggest a night’s sleep, morning meditation, and then write down what you want. Mental resistance accumulates though the day. Practicing mindfulness is useful for this. Sleep cleans the slate and returns us to neutral. Exercise is useful in getting driven, past neutral. Diet is useful in preventing resistant thinking to begin with.
  19. @How to be wise making distinctions about the state void of distinctions is grounds for another 150 page circle jerk. ??
  20. @Dodo I understand what you’re saying. I was point at the “my” in “my contemplation”.
