@Dodo I think you answered your question. For myself, I make distinctions between my experience and my thoughts about what infinity is, and I find clarity in it. I’m not suggesting it’s a one size fits all, ‘right’ thing to do.

@WaterfallMachine gotcha. Overall progressing, just a temporary regress, or maybe impatience. - I’d look for what I know I want to stop doing or start doing, or both. The source is always offering that to us, the ‘work’ for us is listening. Good luck. Seems like you’re on top of it to me. Writing wanted things, perspectives, etc, up on the wall is a focus game changer for me. Just a thought. ❤️

That stuff is not ‘the self’, ime. That stuff is the ego. As in “weakness, mediocrities, lack” are thoughts we repeat that become beliefs. In actuality your ‘self’ is infinite and feels amazing to uncover. Creative activities help connection with ‘the creator’. Statements like “I’ll always” or I will never change my mind...stuff like that puts the ‘development’ on pause. Growth comes from radical open mindedness. “Be like water” Bruce Lee - comes to mind. Forgiveness is for you, not the person you forgive. It’s letting go.

@WaterfallMachine I can’t wrap my head around how less ego brings any depression. I don’t think that’s where it’s ‘coming from’. @Dodo “The illusionist is not an entity, as my investigation is leading me to believe.”. Please, don’t take this argumentatively, but I have had the completely opposite experience. As in, it’s conscious, self aware. Just sharing.

@snowleopard That ‘death’ part is accurate in my experience. I was at my own funeral, meeting people as me. It was really beautiful. There is an overall perspective I had that I could never get back. I agree it’s all beliefs, and very much chopping wood & carrying water.

@Dodo Not personality alone, as in human emotion, or lonesome. I believe @WaterfallMachine Is talking about ultimately alone, being the ‘illusionist’, if you will.

@Dantas That’s a respectable discipline. How are you now, compared to before you started doing any of those? It seems to me that with the practices we keep becoming more self aware and can more easily deduce what we’re doing or thinking that is at the root of the ‘dark side’. Self awareness is corrective, and infallible (imo). Takes time. When you say ‘ego backlashes’ do you mean anger, getting triggered?

I’m talking to myself, about how there is no other, and replying to myself about it, and we both know we’re talking to ourselves, while we continue to talk to each other as if we didn’t know what’s going on here. wtf really. But this whole thing, the whole universe, you did that. I did that. Dude who will find actualized.org tomorrow and read the words “self inquiry” for the first time, he did that too. You actually get to glimpse that you did that. Now we’re in it, just to be in it. We got to experience it in a ‘separated’ rollercoaster of highs & lows of ‘realness’, now we get to experience it like this with that. After this, just anything. Forever. Maybe we’ll know what we’re doing next and what we are, maybe we won’t. How fucking awesome is that? There’s no actual birth, no actual death. No actual thing to worry about. Worry arises only relative to self identity as person, worry is self-ish, so it serves to remind you that you have momentarily forgotten what you are stating here today in this post. It’s getting caught up in the illusion, in our thinking, and not ‘reconnecting’ to that, which troubles arise from. Not the actual state of Alone. The insight from the video is like seeing a naked woman in a playboy your first time. That is not the same as being Hugh Hefner. You can most definitly not worry one bit about that. ❤️

Only one way to know. I’m tripping balls in a sober illusion at the moment and loving the posts lately. Has a lot to do with what I’ve experienced on high doses of shrooms. Most of it stayed with me, as far as what reality is. The ‘Holy Fucking ISNESS’ wore off though, which is totally fine by me. thought I knew what ‘humbled’ meant. Holy fuck. I did not. Those trips pushed me right through some paradigms like aliens, reiki / energy healing, and of course what the self is / isn’t. Stuff I previously thought was a matter of beliefs. Not that I’ve seen it all, it was just very very accelerating. For what it’s worth, I thought I had folks like Bashar & Abe Hicks, etc figured out. After the trips I realized so much more depth of what they were communicating. We are creating our own reality. I can’t articulate how, but I don’t know how a car engine works either. They get me places I otherwise was not going or getting to. Awareness of what I am, night & day difference. I don’t miss the focus I paid to what I didn’t want, or the doubt, or the fear. That’s for sure. I don’t miss my past one bit either. I’m looking into 5meo. If anyone want to comment on their experience between a high / hero dose of shrooms (just roughly 5g and up I guess), and 5meo, that’d be much appreciated. Thanks! As a reference point; I experienced the wholeness / oneness of everything through meditation, then samadhi... then with shrooms - the outside of the illusion visually and audibly / as what is real / Godhead / cosmic joke (I have no idea if there is an accurate term sorry) Thanks guys.

@tatsumaru imo, it applies to anything & everything really. I mean real as in the world appears to be real. Pretty much what the definition you posted says. Nothing exists. It’s not inherently problematic, we make it problematic (imo). I like the dependent origination reference. Nice. It’s like you, made of atoms, eating atoms which become your atoms. And then what atoms are made of is really a doozy. Have fun man. Great post!

The only reality is nothing; everything is not actually anything, it’s illusionary / appearance. What we can’t see or hear, what we traditionally refer to as nothing, is actually reality, as in real and eternal. It’s there, which is actually nowhere, right “under” or “behind” everything, though it’s all there is, so ‘nothing is hidden’ - It’s “within” or “behind” and is, what your person is, similar to how you are “behind” everyone in your dreams, though in the dream it “appears” other people are “there”. As I experience it, I refer to it, as love, and I could not be without it no matter where I go or what I do, because everywhere I go, and anything I do, is actually, in reality, more illusion of ‘me’. Every ‘thing’ takes place as the illusion of this love / nothingness, which is what I am. It can be experienced, but not by you, because it is you. Experiencing no “you” (human / person) is experiencing actual you. When experienced, the traditional “you” is revealed as no more ‘you’ than a tree, as everything sensing, and everything sensed, is the illusion of the real you. To use science jargon, what’s on the other side of the wall in front of you, is still in superposition / uncollapsed / the real you, everything that is not yet any thing, because it’s nothing / all things in actuality, and no thing yet in appearance. In spirituality terms, it’s God, and it’s you, in actuality there’s no term for it, because it is “behind” any thing which thinks and says any words. So a word always “points” or suggests what it is, never actually describing it. The words God / everything / nothing / self / etc, are words used in an illusion intended to describe what is not the illusion, so they don’t actually describe any thing, they just reinforce the relative point from the illusion. “It” is the ‘space’ between the words. “It” is silence. Just my thoughts / experience / opinion on this everybody, don’t get your panties in a twist on “me”. ?❤️
