The all at once, 1 in a billion odds I think. My 2 cents....There’s realization of the duality of one’s own mind, conceptual nonduality, mental equanimity, the oneness experience, the absolute experience, then the ultimate blow out that actual reality is literally you and there is no other thing (the Alone ❤️), they’re is no thing at all, you are not a thing and not not a thing either, everything sensed is completely your illusion, what you are in actuality is eternal. That last one, doesn’t matter if it’s on a trip or not, it is so permanent it could not be undone even if you tried. *It’s not that you experience that you are everything - you are still you - and you experience that everything is you. Sounds subtle, but it’s all the difference. There is no unseeing what you are and what is illusion. When someone says it’s not an illusion - lol - God, you, it telling you, that they are real and not illusionary. Consider how funny that is, when you know you are them the whole time. They just don’t know what they are. Nothing wrong with that (obviously lmao!), it’s just very funny in a mind f way. Wether this eternal you is love itself, or a void of nothingness without conscious awareness of it’s self...clearly we can agree no one believes anyone, nor should they, so it’s limited of course to experience of what you are. It is worth considering though, that if you consider yourself conscious as a result of the body & brain, but you don’t think God is conscious, you are actually saying you are conscious and God is not. Also, very funny. Side note, lots of people claiming it’s a void, who have not experienced the mental equanimity, let alone the rest. It is not helpful to anyone on the forum when someone speaks with false confidence from fear and ignorance. Every time someone does this, they are hurting themselves the most, that is the nature of self depreciation, you’re further from any realizations, as the path is through the self. One’s own healing should then be the priority, not a forum comment. Stating enlightenment is not real reveals you have not experienced it, or any of the most profound experiences, and solidifys that you won’t. Short of a human never having formed an ego or any concept of self as human, Enlightenment is a real experience.

Whoa!! Chill. Being young is not a crime. Ownership of one’s suffering is very wise. That coward and self blame stuff - that’s got to go. Our best is always good enough. There’s great peace in that. Some people settle in to a shit situation for 80 years. You’re askin questions, getting clarity, movin the dial to the life you want. These are not the actions of a coward. You’re strong af! @Jamie Universe First, that’s awesome and I am very happy for you. Sounds like a huge wieght is off. It’s gonna take time to process menatally and thourgh the body, all that relief. Cryin’s very useful. Try and trigger it when you not in class, etc. You’re a beautiful, one of a kind, just like the rest of us. Like the rest of us, you’ve got to get on top of the thinking game. Try terms of two categories; Is a thought ‘aligning and feels good about yourself”, or is it “doubt based, and does not feel good”. Have the faith and sensibility to trust that picking thoughts that feel good are actually the right way to go. Meditation, not believing thoughts, would be most helpful. Hang in there! It only gets better from here.

What you “become” is beyond anything you could ever imagine becoming! You can’t become more than you are, you’re already the whole! Enlightenment is not conceptual, it is not “a concept that the ego attaches to”. I feel like you picked up that misunderstanding from the forum and projected it on your experience. I don’t think it’s who you are. I don’t think that you were thinking that way 2 months ago. Huge chance I might be wrong, forgive me if so. My intention is helping if I can. Enlightenement is just a word! You, continuing to look into what you are, that’s what’s happening. Who cares about any words. I think you went to that beautiful ‘deep in the now’ place, where there is no thought of past or future, no attachment to any thought, just unconditional love, lots of fun and laughter, and it’s an enlightening place. Now your ‘back’, and ‘living’ and future arises again, and attachment to thoughts of doubt about future arise, and then FUCK! Back. But you did the ‘work’, and now you’re more aware, so of course it feels rough. Give it a little time though, meditate daily etc, be patient and hey btw, it’s ok to love yourself. Let the integration and purification do the work. Have faith in the practices. You have so many more awesome experiences ahead of you, and the deepest joy is found in the ordinary. Don’t miss the now because your’re rushing everything. It’s perfect where you are, you can enjoy it.

The mind deceives into believing it’s idea of nothingness is the same as experiencing nothingness. Usually from a great meditation practice, a really convincing friend, one’s upbringing, or what someone said in a book. The difference is, the experience is, of God. Afterwards, when you see the word nothing, it’s the same as seeing the word God. The idea, is just an idea, protected by an ego that is so clever, it’s invisible.

@cetus56 For sure. Einstein took the time to look into time quite amply imo, and he found that “reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one”. If seeing through the illusion and experiencing source is the desire, time has to go. If of course, one has the time.
