@zoey101 Well cry then, you’ll probably feel better afterwards. Sounds like you didn’t have collision coverage...? Some collision shops with take small monthly payments. If you have insurance, your agent might know someone at a shop who might help with that. It’s hard to be young sometimes. Keep your head (and spirits) up.

@Ether “Old boy” was the experiencer of nonduality. A concept of an individual. The character in time who convinced the audience it’s the actor. The filter of the present. The unseeable haze. The firmament to clarity. The lynch pin of the gateless gate. The ‘protector’ of actual reality. The invisible shield of fear. The offended, perturbed, and engaged when addressed as - my friend, buddy, and ‘old boy’. The seer of other and therefore, other. The owner of memories and desires. Old boy was a selfless half dead workhorse still running in it’s mind even as it was being put down, and of course, freed.

@7thLetter You have a good view on things man. All part of awakening. They’re all perfect, exactly like they are. There really is no point to anything. Just love em. The ‘harder they are to love’, the deeper love you get to experience. Like you said, acceptance too.

@Dino D Have you considered just giving up? Surrendering? It’s one thing to have a lot of responsibilities, and another to be angry and stressed about it. Circumstance & perspective. You can change both. Way easier to change perspective first. Nobody’s supposed to carry stress. That’s the nature of stress. Too-muchness. You can’t over come it, thinking is causing it. Thinking there’s a you which would need to over come and control something is really minimizing. You’d be trying to overcome you, and feeding the fight with thinking at the same time. That’s a lot to be carrying. Just cash out all together on this serious outlook, this grown up role. It’s really not you. It’s the classic ego ransom trap where you have to give up your adult to get your kid back. You need to spend a few days doing whatever it is you like to do. That’s where the swap takes place, the ‘exchange’. Fun is underrated, spiritually speaking. It’s the electricity. I think it’s hard for you to let go because you’re thinking in terms of control. It’s just not helpful to think we’re in control any more than it is to think we aren’t in control. Flowing, feeling connected, seeing many possibilities, feeling creative, just simple joy, that’s kid stuff. Have you ever gone on a Dino sized solo retreat? Reconnect with your feelings and you’ll probably realize more viscerally.

Not everyone has this long term vision & understanding. Share it softly & you can help a lot of people. ❤️

@Dino D I’m not super confident I am understanding you, but if I am, sounds like you are seeing duality in big pieces. This might lead to seeing that it’s all how you’re seeing it. You saw something bad (work, boss, job) then saw that you can appreciate it. The same job suddenly looks different, opposite. An extreme example might be a beggar bothers you and you’re annoyed, vs a beggar triggers a deep love for humanity in you, and a deep appreciation for the life that you have, and you are not annoyed, you love him deeply, and help, just by showing love if nothing else. Am I understanding?
