Excellent attitude with the fear & the onset / come up of the trip. You are absolutely correct that there is nothing to fear. There is a threshold that a psychedelic ‘pushes’ you through - out of egotown / whoville and into nondualtown / Youville. Sounds like you experienced the threshold but didn’t break through. It could be too low of an amount. It could also be that you need to get some more theory and or practice under your belt. I would also consider this.... Consdider making a strict distinction between those two. Conceptual being nothing more than thinking, and reserve “realized” for beyond what can be thought’ - for when your very reality has changed (real-ized), which you might say later becomes Real - I - zed. -

@Pamela Zamora Can you elaborate your question a little more? ? -
Nahm replied to TheSomeBody's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TheSomeBody You have to find what works for you, so trying multiple practices / approaches is pretty wise. Most egos refuse to allocate that kind of time, and most minds are too closed to even consider it. -

Create something, like a song, drawing or painting, or pottery, etc. If you have a kid handy, ask them to finger paint love. I think your teacher would be happy to see you value creating. Also, maybe make a donation in their name. -

Getting to see exactly why everyone loves hide & seek, and playing pretend. ?? -
Nahm replied to John Iverson's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@John Iverson You can get it, as far as exactly what you’re needing / wanting to know, but relative to where you’re at / relative to your life, now, by meditating with a pen & paper ready at your side. Imagine reading a book to little kids. You’re not gonna be a dick and skip right to the end and ruin the adventure. I don’t feel Infinite Intelligence is dickish in this manor, it just loves you too much - love’s the adventure that is John Iverson. -

Note to ‘self’: pass on soup. -

If you’re under 25, most of that sounds common, unfortunately almost a ‘right of passage’. Learn to laugh about these things. That word is funny, thinking it might be more important if it’s bigger, Lighten up and try to see the humor in it. Also, give up thinking about what other people think of you, because you’ll never actually know, and let go of needing to be understood. No one will ever really understand anyone.

I see your picture, and I don’t believe you.

@Omario All methods of waking up and realizing the falsities of selfishness, doubt, hate, fear, evil, etc, and ultimately the illusionary separate self. Ego’s a word often used for that, not an actual thing, just thoughts, “veils”.

Heros come in all colors. In terms of numbers, I’d guess most are blue (community oriented), and a smaller percentage of a different style of journey are orange (self oriented). Unfortunately, many lives are voluntarily laid down in complete (& kinda honorable) ignorance. I would think turquoise has already completed a hero’s journey, enjoying the bird’s eye view of the hero’s still at play.

Nahm replied to niko ev's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@niko ev Hey welcome to the forum! That’s the ‘monkey mind’. Don’t listen to your thoughts telling you about ghosts trying to possess you, nor any other thoughts. Thoughts are like cars passing by on the road, they’re not yours, just watch em pass. Without them, is a clarity & focus like you wouldn’t believe. Not suggesting you take my word for it. The person you’re watching walk is not you. -

Come on man. Keep your head up! You’re gonna have to let this idea that others are responsible for you go. Just rip off the band aid. Genuine symbiosis in business is the way, but you’re expecting employers to greet you with this, and that mindset is leaving you defeated & uninspired. Success is helping others. It must start with you. That might make you wanna puke right now, but if you can start to live in giving & helping, an employer will be blown away and their perceived value of you relative to the business will reveal opportunity after opportunity for you. Such a person is hired to do dishes, and later asked to represent the brand. Lot of worrying about being ripped off, taken for granted...under appreciated...lot of judgment and critique...that is not helping you. That is conditioning, and it’s like wearing an eighty pound sweater, all the time, filtering every new opportunity through the lens of your past. There’s a you under those layers which never judges, and that is why it does not feel good when you do. Dig into shadow work. Self inquire. What if...when you reflect on the events that resulted in discontinuation of employment...what if you weren’t judging that person in the first place? What if you had simply observed, appreciated the opportunity, and done the work? See what I’m saying?
