@cirkussmile “matter”. ? ❤️?? -
@yasaidasai The “problem” is this is interrupting your addiction to alcohol & marijuana. It’s not a problem. Over thinking about it is not helping. Those substances are part of a cycle: challenges, doubting self, drinking & smoking (rather than self inquiry through the doubt), sleep, repeat. You don’t want to be cross faded all the time. You want to be living the life that requires you to do what it takes to be done with these substances. It’s worth it. Don’t give up.

@The Don What are you reading when this is happening? What’s the subject matter, and how is it relative to you, in terms of what you want to stop & start in life? If it’s truly not relative, and it’s all books, then daily meditation can help you calm down and center, as well as increase focus.

I did that. Went vegan for around 18 months. Then realized deeply what you said. So yeah, I’d say vegan is a spiral right of passage in a sense, that it serves you well to raise your consciousness to the degree needed to eat vegan. There is that suffering of animals issue, but that’s my assumption / projection. Maybe veganism helps through yellow?

@Elisabeth What happened when you were a “tiny pre-school kid”? Something that made you say “this world is serious”. Likely a death, or a trauma, moving, parents separating, etc. You mentioned rejecting your friend’s monogamy offer led to the pain in your chest returning...and it “made the feelings go”. The “feelings” is Love. That, love, is not a human chemical emotion, it is not “feelings”, it is the fabric of reality, it is literally what you are. So, you’ve been identifying what you are in association with having reacted to experiencing something as a “tiny preschool kid”. It feels wrong, because it is wrong. The truth is you are love. That’s why it feels good. I know you’re smart and all, but try to accept the simplicity here. Working with what I’ve got....these seem like clues to me... You didn’t say preschooler, you said “tiny”. So it’s likely something an adult did, or something that happened to an adult (s), or an older kid. You said “doesn’t sit right with me long term”. There’s a good chance your “blockage” (identifying with seriousness vs love) has to do with commitment (it’s not like he/she proposed to you). So the “long term” part might be a projection of how you identify yourself internally, but seems to you like it has to do with the situation. “Reminding myself of that feeling was just to painful” What feeling? Try to feel / intuit into that feeling and identify it. It truly would only take you a few minutes of relaxing & letting go, and the insight will naturally arise. Guilt? Shame? Vulnerability? Unworthy? Unloved? Also take note that it is a thought - as in, you would first need to “remind yourself”, and then you would experience the thought. Let’s identify what happened, feel straight through it, and be done with it for the rest of your life. Also, you made a point to note “although I do have compassion for suffering”. That’s empathy too. That means you suffered. Grab some tissue and let it out. Let’s not avoid it. I promise if you sit and feel into it, and let it out, it will not harm you in any way. You will be relieved and so glad you did. It’ll truly be the first day of the rest of your life.

He talks about food a little here, and the video is pretty entertaining as well. Consciousness / enlightenment, Imo, starts with food. -
@NoSelfSelf You’re trying to find your authentic body...?

Nahm replied to Pamela Zamora's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Pamela Zamora Yeah but keep projection in mind, and the dualistic nature of the illusion, in the sense, the opposite of everything you said is equally ‘true’, but you’ll have to go full circle to be able to see this. -
@NoSelfSelf Observer mode, by not expressing & vocalizing what arises, you’re positioned to observe your reactions, and their roots, and free yourself. Below the reactions, behind the judgements, under the distinctions, is an unfathomable unconditional indiscriminate infinite love, and it’s you, and it’s real.

There is no thing & no one which can not be reduced and revealed to be total bullshit. Maybe Sahdguru represents acceptance of this in self, an opportunity to know the self deeper. Don’t take my word for it though, I’m full of shit too. -

@kieranperez Great realization man. ❤️ Wish you the best with mum. In a fun sense, listen to her imagining you actually created her - a lot of resistence from your past relationship can just melt away with that perspective, ego & any issues in the relationship revealed as conditioning. A deep insight of how she truly did her best arises. We’re all really just doing our best, and it’s so much easier in surrendering the past. -

Try recontextualizing sin, as speaking and thinking against self, and all is self. -

Nahm replied to Steph30's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Steph30 From that expressed perspective, you are not the dream - so why can’t that you do anything he can think of - because that you doesn’t exist, that you is dream stuff, and all your thoughts are dream stuff. The dream is so convincing, that the real You (consciousness) has tricked itself into identifying as the dream you, quite intentionally. But you are the dreamer of the entire dream, including the universe, physics, spacetime, The Buddha, and me. So to answer your question about The Buddha, who never existed - you try it. You go ahead and tell someone (the person, the who) they don’t exist, because they are actually God. Go ahead and ‘prove’ it to them. Let us know how it goes. If possible, post a picture of their face right after too. ?? -
@Revolutionary Think There ya go buddy! So happy to hear!

Nahm replied to Butters's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Butters Someone who gives you dogma is not enlightened and their focus on them, though they might not realize this. Someone who tells you to do the practices and adopt a healthy lifestyle of well being is interested in helping you. All spirituality is ultimately not it, but it helps get you practicing and living healthy, and it expands your mind so you can realize self. -

@SoonHei I think they’d still be ‘in the room’, and it’ll be like a month’s worth of joy packed into an hour. -
@Feel Good I will. Thanks. ♥️

@Feel Good Coo. I love renters.

@SFRL He is completely self centered. I felt embarrassed for him watching the video. Consider buying a duplex house, living on one floor and renting out the other. A hypothetical example: House costs $150,000, downpayment 3% & closing costs $7,000, monthly mortgage $700/taxes $250/insurance $50: totaling approx $1,000 / month...rent out one floor for $1,000 / month, and live in the other floor rent free. Go travel all you like, using the money you save from not having to pay rent or a mortgage. If you want to move down the road, rent out the floor you were living in too. Now you have $1,000 / month income, and when the mortgage is paid off, you’d have $2,000 a month income (minus taxes & insurance & occasional repairs). Also, instead of living rent free, you could pay off the mortgage sooner. Housing is a pretty sound investment because even if the market fluctuates like in 2008, bodies need places to live all the same, and rent doesn’t fluctuate with the market. As far as accumulating equity, someone would have only lost money if they sold their house around 2008-2011 in the last 50 years.
