The self imposed limitations are found in the I am’s, the I’m not’s, the I cant’s, the it is, the it isn’t’s, the I don’ts, the i have to’s, the I should’s, the shouldn’t’s. Take the ‘I’ out, and pop ‘the life’ in. Think in terms of what you actually want in your life. Write it down, and allow thoughts to arise which fill in to get there. Finite thoughts arise from the infinite potential self. Let go of thoughts about the very You which is the creator & supplier of the thoughts. Unlimit, unblock, un-know your Self. Letting go of a thought rather than identifying from it allows a better feeling ‘space’, a more creative space, In which a resonating thought can arise...better, clearer, more comprehensive thought. This can go on for a very long time. You are already all you could ever need, and a perfect match to where you are. Meditation is the way.

Trace this into you. If this were a scene in a movie, how would it impact the rest of what the character will choose. How do you feel about that trajectory? Now return the arising thought applicable to this life you’re creating. That you wrote about it might be more significant & telling than you’ve yet realized.

A thought of war is not a war. A thought of war is already violence. How are you feeling? Why not be attentive to that? Why think of war in the first place? Talking about catalysts for practices is not practices. The war within marches on, while the attention remains on the war without. ”There is no war to fight”....where is your focus? On War. Why? Emotional avoidance. The mind like to fool us by “not” thinking of a specific thing. While of course you’re getting bent over, thinking about that exact thing. Meditation is The Way.

@iTommy I hear ya. ? A decent contemplation might be, without a thinker of thoughts, do thoughts arise? Why would they and for what? Duality arises in a nondualist, but does duality arise within nonduality?

@Surfingthewave The discovery is in the sensation. Stay with it, ‘ride’ that wave. Write down what you know you don’t want, and then make a list of what you now know you do want. Then burn the first list, and bury the ashes. And thanks, likewise. Meditation 24 hrs a day, quite literally is the dream. You really nailed it there.

@zeroISinfinity A dream is not a life, it is a dream, and it has no discernible beginning nor ending. The conceptualization of a dream however, arises, and also ceases. There is as much need to mourn the ceasing of a concept, as the passing of a life. An arising thought of past, future, or self...is false. It is useful only in creating, as it applies to the ‘life’, the dream. You could say this is ‘returning’ to actuality, to direct experience, to that which was being conceptualized, or, Being, conceptualized. For you, I will not amount to more than an appearance which comes and goes. There is not a me nor abilities, there is an apparent limitation of you, which comes & goes. The worthwhile question is of my usefulness in your creation.

@throw-22 The medicine reveals how you just recreated all your suffering, via the story you identify with. There will be the Suffering of it being Let Go. You will show yourself all the barriers between you, and then your work can begin. Words don’t teach, and medicine doesn’t heal. They show you how to.

If you let something go, it is gone. Nothing more could be done. If more can be done, it hasn’t been let go. Letting the perspective go, emotions follow it on out. Willingness is letting it go. What next? What do you want next? If resistance arises, let it go. Now has no past, it only pretends to. Now anything is possible.

Knowledge is a veil, duality (appearance / illusion) . The ‘real’ of the feeling of knowing knowledge, is knowing the self derived from having forgotten the self. There is no actual duality known, only an idea of a knower and it’s knowledge. A being which is itself infinite intelligence recognizing itself, never actually knowing any thing. There isn’t actually any knowledge or a thing to know, You just appear that way. Duality isn’t perceived within nonduality, nonduality is known in spite of the illusion duality, like remembering in spite of having forgotten, but what was forgotten was No Thing / The Substance Of Not Knowing / You. A body isn’t dropped, there never was a body. Duality isn’t dropped, because it never actually was some thing, delusion is dropped, in recognition there isn’t any. There is only Being recognizing and knowing itself. If the cosmic joke is not funny, the joke is on “you”.

@abrakamowse If there is infinite, you are infinite. If there is anything which makes distinctions, It is you. If there is any apparent effect, it is you. If you part out survival you create the distinction. So creation seems transcendent to survival. You are creating by default, but the distinction of survival is the duality of the thoughts about dying, or not surviving. If a creative artist adopts identity of a creator, it is still you and your creation which is you. You could knowing lose identity. You could unknowingly lose identity. You could knowingly create identity. You could unknowingly create identity. It’d always be you.

Asleep, separate, material, physical... identified with the body. (While actuality is ‘not a body’) Awake, realized the actuality. Nothing actually happened with the “body”.

@moon777light Babies? No. When you have one you’ll see, they do not aid in your survival. But I am not talking about the appearance of creating, I am talking about Creating. You create every appearance of every passing moment, your body, your thoughts, your perspectives, your internalizations, your choices, etc. You are the Creator of you, a dream of a life time....and “within” this, you are creating the life of your dreams. If you reduce creating to survival, you created that distinction.
