  1. Begin to recognize what self referential thinking is. Thoughts aren’t about you, they just seem like it out of habit. If it was a bunch of thinking about a tree, at least you could point to what you’re talking about. Self Inquiry instead.
  2. @GreenLight Maybe a simpler way to see... you care about God. You made a thread about it.
  3. @Anastas Sia You’re awesome. Seriously. You’re a really great person. You have a great life, and it’s only going to get greater and greater and greater.
  4. The evidence of how free you are, is the asking if you are free to want what you don’t want. That is focusing on what you don’t want, which you are free to do.
  5. @Kshantivadin I think you’re very confused and calling the emotions you’re experiencing anything & everything other than, the emotions you’re experiencing. That leads to trying to “solve” that “problem” with purpose, substances, other states, self image, etc. It’s far easier and perfectly lasting to just understand emotions and how you’re creating them. Apply that to the thoughts. Thoughts like that. Definitely start letting go of what you think you know.
  6. That’s your belief. Keep inspecting and understanding emotions to better understand yourself and them.
  7. It’s a steeping stone, as you said. It’s perfectly aligned, revealing clarity.
  8. There isn’t a society that has plans for you. Careful thinking that way, as that is your outlook & perspective. If it feels off, consider that is the discord which is draining of energy, and for so long as the resistant perspective is believed, your time. Same factor. The “obligations” are your perspective, not someone else’s. If they are someone else, it’s still up to you to agree or not. That is already the case. It’s what you’re already doing. Allow yourself the great feeling of recognizing this, that great feeling can ‘move the mountains’ of your life. Focus has no price. Focusing on what you want feels very, very different than focusing on what you need. You’re already free to go “all in” with focus on what you want. More insights arise around it, since thoughts attract in kind (similarly). That is already happening, and will never happen in a future. What is, as in ‘where you’re at’ is fine, what will be, as in what you’re focused on, is also fine. They are really one in the same. Make two lists, what you do want and what you don’t want. Which you want more will surface. Don’t work against yourself with conditional happiness. Put how you feel first. That means focusing on thoughts which resonate & inspire. Everything you want to experience arises of that.
  9. Ultimately, the freedom is that there is no one to answer.
  10. @mandyjw Do that, you already have free will. Notice, you are free to want what you want, and free to express it. Just keep focusing in that same direction you already are. Create the life you desire to experience, financially, relationships, hobbies, interests, etc. You’ll feel great, that great feeling is God. You probably don’t realize this, but many people use spirituality as a way of avoiding the challenges and difficulties of life. Not you. You’re expressing about it, inspecting this, looking directly. That’s what everyone wants to do but is afraid of. You’re going to be very successful. People are going to want to know your ‘secret’.
  11. @Godishere So to speak of course, I awoke and then became interested in psychedelic experiences.
  12. A reinterpretation through a different lens on suffering... Mom’s condition to be happy is her demands being met ...your condition to be happy is mom being happy. What you both want is not to suffer. Though it probably sounds nuts, mom would therefore be happy if she stopped making demands, or if her demands were not met. You would be happy if you met her demands, or if you didn’t believe others need to be happy for you to be happy, or that one creates another’s suffering. Be like water.
  13. Yourself is already full proof. Inspect the beliefs that don’t resonate. Be less conditional, by laughing at yourself instead of defending. It’s very liberating. Might be scary, but then once you do, it’s freeing. Just advice of course, but it seems like you’re asking about what these three females problem was... when you could be asking about why you have a problem with it. Yes, reasons come up, but try to witness them without reacting so you can extract the insights. This brings clarity to deciphering which emotion you’re experiencing, and using the emotional scale from that emotion up, works. If you find it doesn’t work... you can ask for help with that aspect, that’s making progress.
  14. You can inspect what they really are anytime, as lightly or as deeply as you want to. Inspect what ‘these things’ are, then you’ll know what you’re talking about in a more literal sense, and then you can see if there’s still anything to ‘deal with’. There is absolute. It’s all absolutely worthwhile. You’re the hero though, wether you know it or not. It’s up to you. There are also many many things to directly experience... psych’s, reiki, therapies, guidance, meditation, yoga, etc...all available online too. You could try to narrow down what’s going on, and then see where to start. Simple things go a long way, like writing down how you want to feel and think, and doing that when you wake up tomorrow and notice similar or same thought as the day before. In that way, making a dreamboard makes it much easier to focus on what you do what to think & feel.
  15. Trying to move from the current perspective about yourself and your life... to another... requires letting the current perspective go. Maybe the “another way” you’re looking for is really just “not more of the same way”. You may have not experienced letting something go yet, so you might also not know yet that the good feeling of the true nature automatically arises, like a cork that was held underwater, and then let go. Notice focus is prior to thought. When you say “I’m not gonna repeat what my problem is”... you’re focused on the “that there is a problem”... and trying to replace that perspective with a solution. The solution is always letting the “problem perspective” go.
  16. @Hulia Fortunately none of that is in the tree’s nature, which the tree intuits, feels and abides in...is. The tree would then know the dream of trees, from the dream of a tree.
  17. So your definition of “fully conscious” would be sensation always being present...? And whenever you check for it’s presence, it indeed is present...? Maybe you’re assuming there is an I which dictates this..? An I which could be fully conscious, or not fully conscious...? If those aren’t thoughts... what are they? What’s conscious of those thoughts?
  18. @machiavelli Imagine being Disneyland. That is not an experience, it’s what you’re being. Then imagine being a lens (‘person’) so that you can experience Disneyland. Since you’re being Disneyland and the person... you forget the infinitude you really are. Then you believe you are the person, and not the entirety. Which leads to trying to find or figure out the “right beliefs”. It is the adding of beliefs which has already occurred which leads to the thinking “why can’t I the person materialize an object instantly?” Just look around. ‘That’ is ‘this’. You forgot. You will never remember that you did or how you did it, because there is no “it’. It = you already. The ‘matter at hand’ is dropping beliefs, not adding or replacing them. Beliefs are thoughts repeating, ‘seeking’ alignment, or, what is true and actual. When you be-leaving, the true nature, which is you and thus can not be parted with, intuitively is felt as ‘calling “you” back’, or re-memebering. Meditation allows the activity of mind to quiet, which means awareness is not aware of the beliefs. Then ‘proceed’ from there, consciously creating, and consciously loving. The ‘answers’ sought are soon realized not to be ‘answers’ at all. In aligning with what is true and actual, that you are love, and that you are the creator, is the unfolding of real I zation, which is already the case. It gets obvious quick, but not from thinking. Do whatever you like on your path obviously, imo, a dreamboard is the most direct approach. It is in a sense, admittedly, in stark contrast to what I deduce to be the current approach, which is primarily centered around “how” thinking, which is and will always be more thoughts.
  19. @communitybuilder There isn’t a ‘first duality’. First & last are duality (thoughts). Thoughts appear, yes? Duality is an appearance. Inspect for what there is in direct experience, which there is not an opposite of. Then you’ve found a thought, which is dual, but which points to that which is not.
