So is the need for forum and posts -
@Neill My son had headaches for years and after he got detoxed with a help of a professional naturopath (took a few months), his headaches completely went away. They tested him before he started a detox program and found out there was an amount of heavy metals still in his body (he was 15 at the time) that childhood vaccines are loaded with. He does better at school now, has more energy, concentration, lost a few extra pounds with ease, and stopped getting acne. In my personal case, I had to have mercury (from the amalgam fillings), as well as nicotine (I was second-hand exposed to my dad's smoking as a child) detoxed. 25 years later nicotine had been still lingering in my body, even though I never smoked a single cigarette in my whole entire life. These are extreme cases, and yes diet/ exercise is overall the answer. When we were getting detoxed, a lot of formulas the naturopath was using contained chlorella. I still use it daily in my green morning smoothies for continuous detox from environmental and food pollution.

@abrakamowse From reading your posts it's evident you've been initially self-realized/ awakened. This is a good place to be, so don't feel discouraged. Leo will be posting a video on the stages of enlightenment soon, so we can learn and grow into yet higher awareness. As he said to take this process in baby steps and to enjoy the journey. Also, keep referring to Ayla's 'Mind Attack After Initial Seeing' when it feels tough. Helps me a lot. Hugs

@Woman Take some time apart from the relationship/ the guy, give yourself space, and focus on building yourself up. Once you're sufficiently detached emotionally, it will become clear to you whether or not you want to go back to that place again. More likely than not, you wouldn't. Hugs

@abc Not everyone who's self-realized becomes a yogi. There are thousands of awakened people on earth just living regular life, work, pursue their passion, raise families, etc. Self-realization is a perspective. But like @Arnie said above, work on rooting out neuroses (like fear, etc) and build yourself up first. This process is a journey that can take years and decades. My list above is a long-term endeavor. You asking these questions is the starting point, grow from there. Hugs

@Alytheyogi Hope this info helps you put things in perspective. Hugs

@abc First things first: - work on taming the monkey mind - minimize interaction with toxic/ neurotic environment - keep meditating - sit in a quiet room and just be, no distraction - realize you are not your thoughts/ emotions - realize your true self is the empty awareness behind your thoughts/ emotions - learn self inquiry - work on getting in touch with the true self (enlightenment work) - know you are fine and whole just the way you are - keep calm and breath

@Jakob Fermenting is awesome. I make my own sourkraut too, good stuff c(: In my country that was the way of life - fermenting veggies for winter and making preserves from fruit and berries. My grandmother even fermented apples and watermelon Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress!

@Jakob Yes, a little bit of starch (like rice or potato) helps IBS. Also ginger and carrot juice. I bought a quality juicer awhile back and fresh juice almost daily. Also, morning green smoothies make great breakfast replacements. Highly nutritious and easy on digestion. Do you take probiotics?
-
@Jakob That's awesome! I stopped eating red meat too, still a bit of organic chicken here and there, lots of fish (wild caught), and no grains other than organic buckwheat, rice and quinoa. There's a good book 'Grain Brain' by David Perlmutter I highly recommend, a real eye opener. Also, Curcumin BCM-95 is a potent anti-inflammatory for managing pain drug-free. I have occasional back pain and a couple of 725 mg capsules take care of it pronto.

Hi @Jakob Sounds like you have a good plan to keep moving your life forward. Leo's material and support of like-minded people will help you stay on track with your self-actualization. Also, get a full body detox to eliminate the aches and pains and to fix IBS. Natural medicine practitioners are best for that. Chlorella + cilantro will cleanse your body from heavy metals and various chemicals. You didn't mention what your diet is like, so be mindful of what you feed your cells with. As you probably already know, organic raw unprocessed foods from the earth are what builds up healthy body and is the best medicine. Here's some info on detox: http://www.naturalnews.com/035177_chlorella_cilantro_detox.html

Leo has it in a video http://www.actualized.org/articles/the-grand-model-of-psychological-evolution At the yellow stage (1st stage of Tier 2) you're aware of the previous stages; no fixed beliefs, but rather integrate knowledge and experience; self-realized/ awakened (full enlightenment is not a requirement at this stage); not a conventional thinker; priority on self-actualization/ reduced neuroses and need for external stimulation; no fear of being alone/ emptiness; you adopt Being-cognition. There are more characteristics, these are just the changes I've observed in myself. -
@JevinR Check out super-food algae Chlorella. It's 50 % plant based protein, contains all amino acids, omega-3 and 6, major minerals and vitamins, chlorophyl, digestive enzymes and probiotics, detoxifies and is a potent antioxidant. I put 1 tbls of Chlorella powder in my morning green smoothies and my energy never runs out. Plus you save on a cabinet full of expensive supplements. Make sure it's organic (for cleanness) and broken cell wall (for better absorption).

@Christian Tell him the truth about how you feel about the whole situation. Leo has a good video 'How You Lie' where he talks about how to be assertive in dealing with tough situations (in 3 steps). Here's the link: http://www.actualized.org/articles/how-you-lie Also, his vid 'Avoiding Dysfunctional Relationships' is a good one to watch: http://www.actualized.org/articles/avoiding-dysfunctional-and-abusive-relationships

@Endew I would take out a student loan and go back to school, at least part-time, and work somewhere part-time. This would give you a goal to work towards, an opportunity to create results in your life, to be more independent and self-sufficient. Also, look for positive people to surround yourself with who will support, encourage, and cheer you up in your journey. And learn about personal boundaries and how to assert yourself and say no, even to your parents. They don't own you.

Soy beans are not recommended. They turn on genes linked to cancer growth.
