  1. @Peace and Love Perhaps a man would find a woman sexy/ attractive if she makes him feel sexy/ attractive. Just throwing this out there for further contemplation
  2. Good one! Leo already has over half-million spiritual 'babies' to enlighten...and he's doing quite an awesome job at that
  3. @Jared Gregory I went 'cold turkey' on my cell about 3 mos ago and cut it off completely. Huge distraction that feeds the 'monkey mind'. Now more time for important stuff like channeling my energy into work, nature, meditation, contemplation and just Being.
  4. @Shir You're welcome. Never trust dopamine. No one is worth your sanity
  5. @Shir Imagine what he would look like 20 years from now
  6. @cetus56 Yep, time for shadow work... a lot of shadow work
  7. A friend of mine is trying to convert me back to Christianity. I left the church a year and a half ago. Was just wondering what your experience was about... the man sure looks like Jesus from the pictures we've all seen of him.
  8. @Scholar Eckhart Tolle had similar experience and didn't develop de-personalization disorder. Listen to some of his talks and books for guidance.
  9. @Scholar Good info to help put things in perspective:
  10. @Zingo 'Death' is the end of an illusion that there was someone. Your sense of self is an illusion, thus there is no one to die, thus no death.
  11. @Scholar Eckhart Tolle talks about this state in his videos and in books. You're on the good track. Start on self-inquiry to transcend body-mind.
  12. @kyle barnett Yes, so silly! There're some enlightened folk who indulge in wordly pleasures , others choose to starve or burn themselves alive . The Absolute doesn't care one way or the other. Enlightened just means disillusioned . Know the Truth and live in peace
  13. LOL ...or a monkey mind after a long meditation session
  14. That's exactly what Lisa Cairns talks about in the short vid I posted above.
  15. @rrodriguez11 This will help understand. From the enlightened person's perspective on suffering - Lisa Cairns :
  16. Good one! I tried to talk to one friend about it to ...figured better leave it alone Love JP's jokes, btw, he's hilarious
  17. I know, JP bs's a lot, but the interview sounded legit
  18. @The Universe An India-born aquaintence suggested I go talk to someone in a local Hindu temple after I got awakened. He said I would need their help in order to keep my path pure. I declined, staying clear from belief systems. There's no 'me' to be instructed about anything anyway. Meditations, direct observation, practicing Being, and shadow work all keep me well rooted in reality. Don't think about stuff... just BE.
  19. Interesting... I just watched a Buddha at the Gas Pump interview with JP Sears where he said he'd got awakened during an encouner with a cat
  20. @Santhiphap Thank you for the update and really enjoyed the quote. Keep us posted
  21. @Santhiphap You're welcome. I had my initial glimps while doing Leo's guided 'no-self- meditation too. Don't stop there and keep looking deeper. Ayla's guide came handy many times. You're on the right track
  22. @Santhiphap To me the initial glimps of 'no-self' was more a releaf than fear. But the ego always fights it though, because when you know what you truly are, you also know what you are NOT and that the mind-body construct is just an illusion, a false sense of self. This will help understand:
  23. @Kazman Leo released a video a few months ago on the 10 things we don't know we want, and one of them was to be dispassionate. I have been actually gradually incorporating those things into my life (even experienced samadhi) and the levels of my peace, contentment, and happiness have been increasing. When you live from the plce of Being and not a personal story, nothing is forced, things just fall into their places and you exerience a lot of beautiful synchronicity around you - this is living life to the fullest. Here's the link to the video:
