I think they don't talk about everything, on purpose. It doesn't really help you to know everything Leo told you, it is nice in the sense that you can directly make sense of what happens when you awaken or have glimpses, but at the same time, it has a very high chance to put you into fantasy (concept) land for a very very long time. The upside of not talking about it directly, and only caring about elevating the consciousness of people, has the upside to be more direct and practical, with the drawback of not explaining what might happen.

Religions are born from devotion to an enlightened being who embodied to the extreme the wisdom of God. Then maybe one or two of his devotee realize what the truth is too, and the rest have no idea what they are talking about. The cult continue to live on when the enlightened beings die, and then it become more and more distorted by the assumptions of the devotees in charge of passing along the wisdom of those enlightened beings. Then you get something like the Bible, which is stories upon stories with zero spiritual truth left in it.

Any kind of memories is an attempt to create continuity and consistance within you. Think about what happened 1h ago, 1 day ago, 1 month, 1 year etc. It feels as if it happened for mostly one reason, consistance with the present narrative of your experience. If you put the consistance on the side, your past memories are equal to those of your dreams, of the movies you watched, of a book you read, of something someone told you, of what you daydream about your future. Try to see that all those memories are one of the same, just with different stories and characters. It's one big story, not the story of the character who reads this.
