  6. So, from the last video of Rali, from one of his answer, he says that you can promote your type of awakening by practising certain type of meditation. Do you guys have examples of that ? Emptiness awakening -> more towards total detachement Infinity awakening > more towards unconditional love

  8. Growing your consciousness, or to be more exact, realizing more of yourself, doesn't mean your ego will disappear. Of course you have to work on yourself, do you think enlightened people are lazy bum who just got lucky ? Even monks who only do spiritual stuff takes years and years (sometimes decades) to realize their enlightenment
  9. You simply didn't do enough conscious work to understand how powerful and magical your life will be with more presence. Spending your life stacking shelves wouldn't even matter if you "reach" enlightenment by the way, because that would mean it's either what life wants you to do (and you would be totally ok with that) or that it's just a temporary job (and you would surrender to it). Thing is, if you ever realize your enlightement (which is extremely rare), life would probably have bigger projects for you, cause awareness wants to spread by every mean possible. Whatever way you ask this question, it is irrelevant, life doesn't really start untill you find your true self and follow your intuition anyway. Every projects or wants you have right now are essentially flawed, because it's literally your thoughts that direct your mind right now, and an inconscious mind is fucked up.
  10. Because it will strenghten your intimacy since you would do it primarily to understand each other. If you do it just for yourself, it is good too, it will help greatly, and for a lot of other things TOO :)
  11. Tell him to buy and read "The Way Of The Superior Man" from David Deida, and learn from it too, you two should discuss about it. You'll both need to be very open-minded though. Both of you should start a daily meditation practice, and do it together. Seems not connected to the problem, but it is.
  12. Well it's rare that I do, unless I meet a really beautiful and smart woman, but that's a while since it happened, so I can't really know. Spiritual work helped a lot though, even when the awkwardness is there, I don't really care about it, it's even fun for me @Steph1988 It's not anxiety though, I'm reading articles about it, I have no symptoms about that (I did in the past though), it's my mind being fucked up about women, a lot of girls bullied me psychologically and even physically when I was younger. That's why I force myself to socialize, because my mind will be forced to recognize that not all women are bitches. It's inconscious though (which is why I find it funny ), I never think consciously that women are evil or something like that.
  13. Most of it, not all. I don't do cold shower yet. I'm currently doing nofap + clean eating, I'm also doing the daily concentration exercice, workout and I force myself to socialize at least for 3 hours every week-end. That's already a lot to do without backsliding, so I won't do any more until I feel that 2 or 3 of these things has sticked. Other things that seems interesting in order to grow that I want to do: Pick up (not for sex though) Aikido (Martial Art) Veganism Yoga 2 hours of meditation (I backslided that HUGE RESISTANCE ) Self-inquiry Steady reading habit Social skills (how to move your hands, being fluent with what you want to say, being funny) Dance class (seems fun) Probably other things I forgot
  14. You need to do it at some point, because you'll always be attracted to the other sex anyway. Your mind will fuck you up at some point if you're not being able to have sex when your all body screams for it, or being able to sustain the relationship you are in. Do that only if you already settled the core daily habits like meditation/workout (or sport), clean eating and steady sleep schedule though, the priority is yourself, not your cock craving If you have social anxiety, fix that first, and if you struggle at school or at work, postpone it untill you get comfortable with that.
  15. @Principium Nexus This is the list that I use: Things to avoid : Ejaculation: Huge energy drainer, very misunderstood because almost everyone is addicted to it (That only applies to guys, it’s the opposite for girls). Alcohol/smoking/energy drink, and any other kind of drugs: Pretty obvious, drugs of any kind sucks out your energy one way or another. Gossiping/Socializing with neurotics people : It will only fill your head with negative thoughts, and negative thoughts sucks you of your energy, SO MUCH. TV/Media/Facebook/Twitter : Same thing, except it’s less obvious. Things that helps Clean eating: What you eat impact how much energy you have, simply because your stomach have to work more than it should (among many other reasons). Meditation habit: It will help, it's like a nap on steroid, and will boost your capacity to stay conscious troughout the day. Steady sleep schedule: Getting to bed and getting up (preferably early) at the same time every day. Essential Oils: increases vibrational frequency Workout/fitness habit: Preferably in the morning, it will boost your serotonin level. Practising mindfulness (as much as possible), because thinking (especially negative thinking) is a HUGE energy drainer. Breathing exercises do help alot (pranayama & deep breathing preferably in nature) / Bioenergetics exercises in order to release trapped emotions and free your nadis. / Hatha, surya & Yoga namaskar are great too. Stretching: having body flexibility will help you use the body effortlessly. Solar energy: Let the sun heat you in the morning, its the best time. If you can get your shirt off is even better. Cold Shower: Maybe hard at the beginning but after a month its normal. Do it from head to toes, it does magic, specially to keep you alert in the morning. Music: It can help as a trigger to uplift your mood, specially high vibration music like techno. / Dance: move freely without judgement! Naps: If you are tired or very busy during the day and couldn't have a good sleep, try 15-20 minutes nap. Its wonderful. Water: drink 1 gallon of water everyday for a month without missing a day, then build momentum for ever. (You will detox and piss alot) Positive people: fully expressing yourself with people that are open can make your day. -Laugh: stress off and try laugther yoga to uplift your mood. / Force a smile for 10 mins to make your brain think you are happy. If you do this for 21 days you will re-wire your brain to happiness. Chanting Meditation: Chanting generates vibrations in your body that can make your energies go upwards. Conscious Breathing: practicing breathing consciously everytime will keep you grounded in the present, very centered & out of your mind. / Vipassana Positive Thoughts: this one is very misunderstood. You should not fill your head with crappy beliefs thinking its positive. Yeah ,you may feel energy changes but its delusional, we want Truth not more deception. Only practice positive-visualization when you have certain understanding of the nature of the mind and your current thoughts. After having calmed your mind & gained some stillness, you may start to visualize images and attach positive energy to it. You can picture events, love to the universe, places & even dreams, but don't get caught in the dream world, be aware of it as what it is, a dream. If you do this you will change & shift your vibration completely by a new embodiment of thoughts. It takes 1 month of practice to create a new paradigm.
  16. Most people don't know about this, that's why. Most guys thinks it's totally natural to ejaculate once a day, or even more. In fact, doing it more than once every 2 week will impact your energy level, the thing is, almost nobody does that, so no ones know about it, no one can tell the difference. We're all addicted to it, it's a drug, and it's the worst kind of drug, because it's normalized, because everyone is doing it ... EDIT: I'm talking about guys here, apparently for women it's the exact opposite.
  17. Probably, but usually your first awakening happens in one way, "full enlightement" is a combination of both (with a tendency). I guess Masters balance both to such a way that there isn't a tendency anymore. @username When people refer to full enlightenment, or enlightenment, they talk about the realization that everything is one. From all the teachers I follow, or talked to, it seems there is no end, there is always new insights.

  19. Don't use his answer as an excuse to not stop porn and masturbation for 2 weeks. Of course you can drain your energy in many ways, but porn and masturbation are 2 ways that not only fuck up your mind, but your energetic force, LIKE SO MUCH. This, and thinking too much, which is the case of 99% people, and that is hard and can take a while to transcend, so that's not a short term solution. This isn't even relevant to this post. The guy seek a way to give him energy, I'm giving him the best and cheaper way there is (although it's challenging for sure) which is also totally natural, and you try to make him doubt about that ? Do you want him to suffer or what ? I know you like to view everything on every aspect, but with this kinds of answers, on a thread like that, it isn't appropiate, this is serious matter, the guy could continue to suffer for months/years, even his all life.
  20. When you do lucid dreaming, do you realize that you have the same awareness/consciousness as in "real life" ? In the "dream", does everyone appear to be separate from you, or everything seems to be merging into one big experience ? What makes you think the life you're living now is more real than a dream ? Because it last longer ? Because it is more consistent ? Because there is no (apparent) magic ?
