Homework: Lay down on your bed, 30 minutes a day, and do NOTHING.
-
At first it won't, it will be even worse because you'll become concscious of it. After a while it will reduce or you will at least take distance from it, and it won't be that annoying. There is no reason why it shouldn't quite itself, unless you have some mental illness.

If you really didn't care, you wouldn't answer 3 times to show us how much you're above it. Read the god damn book and stop being a pussy. -
The reason why enlightenment can't be a trick, is the simple fact that everyone is seeking love. Deep down, everyone feels alone, there is this feeling of lack, of not enough, of not complete. This is directly corrolated from the fact that there isn't such a thing as a separation between all there is. The sole reason for the search of love, is the reunification of your limited perception of what you call "you", to the very existantial nature of The Universe. What we call Tao, The Absolute, Brahman, Awareness, or God. All these names described something that cannot be really explained. It is one supreme being which contains everything there is, was, and will be. An analogy to it could be a sphere, experiencing itself in an infinite number of ways. You could say, for the sake of finding an analogy, that reality is a whitehole filled with an unending experience. Knowing that, it implies that everything that exist is connected to it, since nothing is outside of it. Everything is connected because everything derives from the same substance which we call awareness/consciousness. From that, a deep and overwhelming sense of connectiveness, of intimacy is present. This is what we call love. How I'm sure all of that isn't just bullshit concepts in my mind ? Because I never experienced love, and the most powerful intuition I had, is that love exists. I know it may seem stupid of childish, but look within your heart ... You know this is true. You know something is wrong. You know there is something more ...

I have a gut feeling that I'm very close now. What I'm searching is to realize that the consciousness which is within me (the watcher), is also inside everything that I can see/hear/feel and think ? Not only that, but also the fact that everything that can I see, feel, hear and think, is the same and unique experience arising at this very moment ? RIGHT ?! Holy shit the intuition is so strong. HOLY SHIT EDIT: Here wa go !

I might understand the fact that you don't seem interested and that it never comes to your mind, But a statement where you clearly say that you never will, implies there is some kind of fear ... -

Whether someone is enlightened or not isn't important. What someone enlighten in you is. -
No I just seemed interested into Self-inquiry/Self/observing myself again. EDIT: Thing is, I promised myself that I won't say it if they ever "reach" awakening/enlightenement, so you will never know for sure

What about totally quitting an extreme addiction if you no longer judge yourself ?
-
Don't think there is a "one", just people with whom you can connect more on a surface level. The "one" would mean there is only one person in the world with whom you could have a lasting relationship, which is stupid and limitative. @Beau Maybe the "one" is on this forum ...

@Dingus is probably right here. If you're really addicted to something, really hard, stopping in one go is almost impossible for most people (they don't have the discipline required). If you're mildly addicted to it, and you just never took this addiction seriously, then you might want to stop in one go, it is feasible and quite easy with a bit of awareness (If I could do it, you can too ).

It's like the new bible, without all the cryptic bullshit. For only 12$ you learn how to totally transform your life. Well, if you're not fucking closed-minded. -
I think it's obvious, but don't lay on the bed when you're tired, do it first thing when you come back from work. Not because I'm retarded that you should too @Loreena Then ask the cute guy you like at highschool
-
There is no "best" anyway, just teachers that you have more affinity with, depending on your personality.

Definitely want to awaken on the level of heart. If it takes longer, then so be it ! @Annetta Maybe we don't have a choice, maybe this is all about masculine/feminine energy in the end.

It is relatively important. Whatever you want to do in life, you need a skill for it. Leo gives you insights on how to obtain these skills. -

When you can't judge anymore -
You're judging because you need to separate yourself from others. If you judge other people, that automatically implies you do it to yourself too. It's not like you could decide to stop like that, but what you can do is watching your thoughts when you judge, and try to understand why you really judge. You'll find out that it's not because other people do things wrongs, but what you believe they should do. This is all in your head, even the most horrible things people do in life, there is no need to judge, it is already done, judging is pointless. I said judging, not acting, acting towards something is great, judging only leads to neurosis and pointless debates. Judging can be done totally neutrally (which is what we call awareness), and this is how you make real decisions in life, and how you make real and authentic connection to people. Might seem totally crazy to you right now, but this is exactly what it is : It's hard to remember that you have to do that at first, because you're caught in the judgments. What can help, is to do 5 minutes affirmations everyday "I will observe my judgments", preferably in the morning.

This so much. Emotions are the key to transcend, if you don't face them, there is no way you could ever be at peace and grow in your life (at least not in the right direction). You probably can have an awakening without facing your emotions, but realizing your enlightenment ? No chance in hell. -

You can be around people, it's just extremely hard at first Humans are wonderful when you look at them without any labels, so much life in them, so much depth. No wonder why relationships are so much valued, it is just so amazing to just look at your partner in the eyes without any thoughts (it's kind of sad that most people "lost" this after the first few weeks)
