  1. Want to stop suffering ? Take a 1 week vacation, stay all day in your sofa just being totally mindful of your monkey mind. That's it.
  2. It's not because you don't have enough awareness now to stay present during those hard moments that you will never have. Just keep practising, you will be suprised how calm you will be able to be in some months/years.

Don't put anyone on a pedestale, even the other people you mentioned, if you do that then you Will unconsiously think you're separate from them, which is not true. But thank you for the praise, even though there isn't anyone to take it (there is just a hand moving on a smartphone )

  6. Because the intensity of connection can vary, some appearance are more drawn to others. For example, you won't see a dolphin fucking a kangaroo. Well that's not a good example, dolphin are assholes, they might actually do that.
  7. The point is to realize how much suffering you're creating for yourself, then realizing the suffering was only there to make you think there was a self.
  8. What if the big bang is just the birth of a cell in a organism, which itself is part of a universe that is also a cell of an another organism (to infinity) ? You could turn the question the other way around. Now add the multiverse. This is 0.0000000000*infinity of what life is. I wish you goodluck fellow scientists.
  9. Did you experience in your meditation your soul ? You don't feel your body, there is no sound/imagery, there is no time, there is no mind, there is just "this" (whatever the label you want to use). For people who think it's hard, not it's not, you may just have to meditate a bit longer, so do it
  10. You could do walking meditation, but it's way more difficult if you're not ground in your body or already have a peaceful mind. I don't recommand to substrate traditional sitting for walking meditation though.

  12. Not at all, I just have an open opera tab about it. It's proven to be effective, so I don't see why it wouldn't work (on some level, I'm not saying it will be day and night).
  13. Check Martin guide on Shadow Work (my signature), all self-esteem issues and anxiety is tied to past baggage and identification to the ego. If you meditate everyday, and try to be conscious of your thoughts patterns without judging everyday, and are doing shadow work, then in a year or two it will all drop. All mental issue are a problem of identification and too much past and future in your head (except clinical one, where the brain is damaged ofc).
  14. Just had an insight that made me cry. There isn't people who gets more conscious. There is only the one true self, which includes everything.
  15. Very easy, meditate all day for 1 week. @Ether Then don't be surprised to not get the result you want if you're not ready to work for it.

  17. Did you try body scan on a long meditation session ? @LaucherJunge When I was practising body scan one year ago, I had a full body orgasm. So i don't know for sure, but it may be linked.

  19. Yes, except that it is less refreashing and deep short term wise (at the beginning) Self-observing yourself all day long is far more effective than doing 30 minutes of meditation every day. Now if you can't self observe yourself all day long, and get inconscious most of the time, meditation is necessary. Even if you could be conscious all day, there is no reason not to meditate either, after all, what kind of life doesn't have 30 minutes of free time per day ? A very low conscious one.
  20. Then get a girlfriend. Doesn't matter either way, everything you encounter in your life can increase your awareness, if you decide to confront head on with the intention of just feeling the emotions that arise within instead of reacting like a robot to the situation. Doesn't matter what you do in the end, so just do what you want, but stay conscious. @Ilya My signature.
  21. If you increase your awareness really hard, then you'll see that the ego is just a misconception, it can't be killed because it does not even exist in the first place. The ego is just the voice of the body from which you experience life + your beliefs/assumptions, nothing more. BTW, who would want to kill the ego ? The ego ...
  22. Also, if we really wanted it, really REALLY wanted it, we would take 5-meo every 2/3 months, and that's it. If you don't do that, then you're aren't ready or you simply don't want it. @molosku Why in 10 years ? Why not in 6 months ? Why not this month or this week ? You see, pushing back things we want to do or are afraid to do, with good reasonings behind them is always a sign of self-deception. I'm as guilty as anyone, I admit I'm a pussy, otherwise I would just do what I said before.
