I think disscussion about enlightenment and reality should stay on the appropriate forum. Think of people coming in this forum reading such nonsense to their level of understanding and experience of life. This thread was about giving motivation to those who needs it, and with these kinds of posts it just make the whole thing way too indigest for them. They may even think that it's not worth it, cause if your level of consciousness isn't high enough, all of what you're saying is utterly depressing to them ... If you really want to grow, be friends with those old people. Hell, even date one since your actual partner is far from your values anyway. If you grow and he doesn't, the break up is inevitable, so you might want to think about that before it gets too ugly. Also go to a zen center, you may meet younger people there, maybe. Sorry that's not what you want to hear, but I'm just not gonna lie by omission, even if it makes you mad.
