I wonder if it was working in America only?

How to be wise replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Razard86 I think too much of socialising with people makes you stupid, just because if you spend a lot of time with them, you will adopt some of the collective dogma in order to fit in and be part of the group. We all have the desire to be loved, and you will easily adopt the group beliefs in order to get their love. -

If those 1 million Iraqis didn’t support a viscous dictator, they wouldn’t have died. It’s like asking, why did the US have to kill so many innocent Germans in ww2? Well, if you weren’t supporting Hitler, who was trying to take over the world, then we would have no reason to kill you. Civilians are responsible for their leaders. If your leader is a maniacal genocidal dictator, no amount of ‘innocence’ will protect you from the consequences. -

How to be wise replied to Revolutionary Think's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Revolutionary Think Of course not. If the population overthrew a secular government to install a theocracy just 40 years ago, there’s no way they’re going to magically go back to secularism. Societies don’t change that quickly. -

@John Paul You can get lots of views, but I don’t see how you’ll immediately translate that to money. You’ll have to consistently do it for years. -

They don’t exist. Leo is in a league of his own. -
How about introducing more poison in your diet ?

@Leo Gura I’ve noticed that pretty much all intellectuals out there think everybody else is stupid. It’s obviously because they spend so much time in their heads that the bar of intelligence for them is so much higher than for everybody else, hence when most people don’t meet their superhuman standards, they are classified as dumb.
-
Make your videos more practical and less philosophical. Not all of us are intellectuals like you. More personal development and less philosophy.
-
I agree that people can be deceived, but surely you’re being a little bit paranoid about the intelligence of others? It’s true that most people aren’t as intelligent as you, but this is not the same as them all being stupid.

Read the book Attached 10-15 times, so it can transform your mind and you can get permanent results from it. Reading it a few times isn’t enough.
-
THIS is the avoidant trap right here. Please read the book ‘Attached’ to familiarise yourself with the concept. It will change your life.
-
Other than your frequent posts on the forum and blog, I’m not aware of your other works. You mentioned in 2016 that you were writing a book, and here we are in 2022. You can’t blame all this on your health.
-
That idealisation doesn’t exist. Don’t fall into the ‘avoidant trap’. It’s basically when somebody deep down is afraid of being in a relationship, but outwardly they think that they haven’t met ‘the right person’, and they use this as an excuse to keep intimacy away. Firstly, there’s no way you’ve never met a girl you’re attracted to. ‘Strongly’ is just another avoidant trap, an excuse to not be in a relationship. As for ‘click with’, let me break it to you, you will never meet someone identical to you. Everyone on this planet is different. The only pre-requisite of a relationship is that she accepts your lifestyle and values, and you accept her’s. If that is set, there’s absolutely no reason to not be in a relationship. I recommend reading the book ‘attached’ by Amir Levine to learn more about the avoidant trap.

@Raptorsin7 I’m guessing you’re not the ‘loner’ type, like I expect most people here are. Do you tell them to watch Actualized videos?

How much health do you need to sit in front of a camera and make videos? I think if you played less video games and read more books, you can get your old productivity back.

@Carl-Richard It’s difficult because his videos always have some profound wisdom in it, however, there is also some Hindu bs mixed in as well. -

@Loveeee Virtually all of the spiritual books in Leo’s booklist are a mind-based approach. -
Having read Neale Donald Walsch’s trilogy, I have spotted several things that God asserts that I have investigated, and found to be factually false. I will mention one example here. There’s a story that God tells about how the devil was invented. The summary is that women were in charge in prehistoric times, then men invented the concept of the devil and used it to overthrow the women and to put themselves in charge. At first I was fascinated by this fact. That women were in charge of society in the ancient past, but were overthrown by the disaffected males was very intriguing. I decided to look it up. This is what I found: “A belief that women's rule preceded men's rule was, according to Haviland, "held by many nineteenth-century intellectuals". The hypothesis survived into the 20th century and was notably advanced in the context of feminism and especially second-wave feminism, but the hypothesis is mostly discredited today, most experts saying that it was never true.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matriarchy It was extremely disappointing. When you take into account that the book was written in the 90s, it’s pretty clear what happened: God just regurgitated what people believed at that time. Although the book is still incredibly useful, I would caution believing all of the technical information. I have found several other assertions of God to be false.

He regurgitates Hindu beliefs and makes us think that he discovered them independently. He’s obviously not very critical of Hinduism. No doubt there is a lot of wisdom in it, but like every religion, it has a truck load of myths. He actually takes those myths as reality and prescribes people to act on them. -
How to be wise replied to Gabith's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Gabith His teachings are very similar to Eckhart Tolle’s. I think if you resonate with Leo’s more mind-based approach to spirituality, then you probably won’t resonate with Kahn’s heart-based approach. They’re very different.
