  1. @nightrider1435 I mean just retaining the consciousness level you get from it.
  2. @Faceless dissolving the ego is never fun, trust me.
  3. @MM1988 what’s the point in having a written answer to your question. It won’t help you.
  4. @Neo You will be much more productive if you work without worry or negative feelings. You will be more clearer, and your creativity will blossom. And by the way, I meant turning your life to paradise literally. If a prisoner does ‘The work’, he will see ALL of life as a paradise, including the prison cell. It doesn’t mean he won’t try to change it, it means that he will enjoy his life no matter where he his or what is happening to him. It’s a very radical state of consciousness. And it’s possible!
  5. @Joseph Maynor Before becoming a ‘prophet’, Muhammed would often go to this mountain called ‘Hira’. He would usually spend days or weeks there by himself. No one knew what he did there. But suddenly one night he came running back to his wife, shaking of fear and terror, and told her he saw an angel tell him ‘certain things’. When he described ‘Allah’ to his friends and family for the first time, he said things like ‘The one’, ‘eternal’, ‘never began and will never end’. He also did miraculous things that convinced most people that he was a prophet. You know them as ‘siddhis’. He also regularly spoke with ‘the angel’, just like yogananda regularly spoke with ‘the divine mother’ in his samadhi states. It’s not hard to see how this might be related to non duality. I’m not saying he was ‘permanently enlightened’. Just like how Leo gets mystical states from psychedelics and learns from them, he probably received mystical states and communicated them with his friends.
  6. @John Iverson shambhavi mahamudra is a technique inside Kriya yoga. You will get more benefit from it if you do it alongside all the other Kriya yoga techniques.
  7. @Leo Gura why is it only a 3/5 book on your rating. If you said it could change our lives, why not be 5/5.
  8. @rothko I just started my practice as well. When I said it changed my life, I meant my destination instead of my current position. It really saved me decades of being lost in techniques and experiences.
  9. @Spacious check out this video: Can I really have how much I want?
  10. @Spacious how about the ‘mighty bucket for one’ (without the drink). Shall I follow Dr Leo’s advise and not hold myself back from the quantity.
  11. @Spacious try having a Big Mac at kfc and try to stay lean. (It has no wheat or sugar).
  12. @stevegan928 Leo’s life purpose course.
  13. @Shanmugam I just finished reading that book. It changed my life. Thanks a lot.
  14. @Leo Gura How can you ask me to stop drinking soda? It’s my bread and butter.
  15. @Igor82 What that guest was saying goes completely against all of Dr Phil’s current belief model, so of course he must reject this.
  16. @pluto I clearly did not “choose” to become the ego. If I could switch back I would. When am I ever not present?
  17. @Eden list all the reasons why you don’t want the baby. List all the reasons why you don’t want to abort it (if you didn’t abort it yet it means you don’t want to abort it). Then, in your minds eye, observe the reasons one by one. For each reason you wrote, observe that thought along with all the images and videos that come with that in your mind. Keep observation until you receive and insight that will show you that that statement, whatever it is, is not true. (You will get that insight if you observe long enough).
  18. @MisterMan don’t clear anything. If you’re mind shows you some insights observe them and learn from them until they leave you, not the other way round. Remember, when you’re observing your problems, focus on those images and videos in your mind that would normally cause you so much suffering. Let those negative emotions come up as you observe. If you do this long enough, you will receive insights that will quite literally blow your mind. After a while, watching those images and videos will be very pleasant. Why? Because all the thoughts that made you hate that situation will be clarified and understood as not being true. The best thing about this is, if that situation you’re observing happens to you in real life, you will not suffer any emotional pain. You will have completely resolved that situation. This is how you get true emotional mastery.
  19. @Ham3aChauh4n why don’t you do some research instead. Leo’s book list is an excellent place to start from.
  20. @Shakazulu was this your first ever trip?
  21. @Joseph Maynor Definitely. Unchanging wisdom is never true wisdom. True wisdom is always complicated and quite dynamic when put in words. Static truths and wisdoms remind me of religions. And plus, you need to take into account the nature of language. It’s very rare to phrase a truth so easily, because the words you use to explain them are themselves very inaccurate.
  22. @MisterMan Confusion is the only suffering. If you were clear, you wouldn’t have a problem with anything. Try writing down some of the problems you have and observing them in your mind for a while. This is the bridge that will lead from confusion to clear mindedness.
  23. @Shanmugam how sure are you about the author’s authenticity? Is there a chance he is some scammer who just wants his book bought?
