I think it is our fault for taking them to be saints or masters and expecting nothing but perfection from them. The reality is, they are teachers who have very important things to teach, and have changed lives. They are also human, and like every human they have their flaws. We shouldn't go to the extreme of just throwing all of their work out of the window just for some personal weaknesses they have. Remember that without them, many of us would be worse off. The reason they have gained all the respect they have is because of all the good they did. Let's keep that in mind when we hear these allegations.

There’s a possibility that they won’t release the episode. They might have realised in the editing process that this is too controversial for their audience.

Yes, that was the story. It's been many years since I read the book, so I must've forgotten the details. Well, if Yogananda was not present, then that does change things. Possibly he believed that this actually happened.

But some of these 'exaggerations' he has narrated in the first person. I remember he mentioned in the book that while he was talking to a swami, a tiger came and bit off his arm. The swami was just talking like nothing had happened, with a piece of his arm just hanging from him. The swami then just reattached it and it was fully healed. Yogananda claimed this happened in front of him. So either this happened, or Yogananda is a liar.
