  1. @Nexeternity That was a nice insight By bufo do you mean bufo alvarius like Octtavio Rettig ceremonies ? I'm quite curious about how many ceremonies have you done in total (ayahuasca, bufo, san pedro, etc).
  2. @moon777light What brand did you purchase ? You can always "risk" it and take chlorella or another chellator later to see if you feel better. Also I've been wondering how reliable is consumerslab for opinions for instance ? Finding good nootropics brands seems to be a hassle.
  3. @Rilles Ginkgo (And Radhiola also) can have a MAOI effect. Keep that in mind when using them. @pluto I understand your idea about organic extract that are based on plants (e.g. radhiola) but how would you check the quality of synthetic compounds since they're supposed to be all the same ?
  4. @Emerald Thanks ! I get a feeling nonetheless that those are your rationalizations/ thoughts after the fact - how you explain the way you felt after the fact but maybe not why you felt that way in the first place in the moment. But since beliefs also dictate emotions to some extent well it's a never ending loop. Thanks again for clarifying @brugluiz What I strongly disagree about this whole "authenticity" topic is that even aside the fact that social interaction are inherently manipulative - well just being authentic doesn't cut it. It's like going to a job interview and saying well I'm just authentic who cares about the diploma ? Yes embodying green masculinity is important. But having value is as important as having a cool personality. If you authenticity works it means it's seen as a huge form of value and you have other qualities such as charisma that can work as honest signals. Then it works. But you can't just discard value as if it never existed
  5. @Emerald Serious question, do you actually find true that women are attracted to on a subconscious level to social status ? Like do you find all the bio-evolution type theories (basically what was attractive as a caveman / useful for survival is still attractive today) about attraction to be true nowadays ?
  6. This is hilarious because the number one question I'm trying to understand is how the law of attraction REALLY works. Like is it all a illusion so you can make it however you like ? Can you actually manifest ? Am I (what I) is creating whose reality ? etc. Can't wait to discover that !
  7. So setting and intention and having a list of questions before tripping (several weeks even) can actually be extremely beneficial ? While at the same time the psychedelics tend to show you what you need and not what you want - nice paradox right here
  8. In the summer of 2015 I've been dating a amazing girl I'll skip the whole story but it was out of this world. Then she broke up with me for unrelated reasons (grandmother dying) and I've been obsessed and in pain about her ever since. More recently after I broke some of my emotionnal walls and shame arround being hurt, I know feel suffering and pain so horrendous and bad I can't even properly function. It's just constant soul wrenching pain and all I want is to go back to her. I spend like 2 years on and off trying to get her out of my mind but now it's gotten even worse. I'm also sick of watching the whole videos about how pain help, pain is good, etc and tons of techniques that dont work. I just want the pain to stop. What do you do when you suffer so much you haven't even enough energy to do something to stop suffering ?
  9. Yeah I've been reading it recently it's quite great
  10. Oh I wish I could just erase it entirely because the positive is not worth the negative. Great question. I had to think hard about it. Basically something along the lines of being a victim of circumstances, it didn't work out only because her grandmother died at the same time and otherwise everything was perfect so it's the bad universe who doesn't give me love and what I want. Thus it's pointless to do anything and even try again because I'll be heartbroken again and everything will go to shit again and I will be hurt again, etc. Maybe I'm keeping this pain to avoid greater pain in the future. Also I can justify not taking any action and holding on to bad relationships. So in general asking how does holding on to the past help me right now is a great question right ? Fuck you've asked me a great question actually. @bejapuskas Yeah there is so much pain in the present moment I'd wish that to strictly no one.
  11. I don't want to Well actually I had full on break down and I cried a bit so I guess I surrendered to some extent. But leaving all the memories and amazing moments behind is extremely painful to a degree I can't even imagine. Like I would've loved to spend my whole life with her and marry her, my heart is dying over and over and over and over. I'll do way more psychedelics because my healing process atm is just pure garbage and I'm not up to date at all. @Elysian thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into it, I always wanted something to "process" feeling aside from just suffering from them.
  12. The more I study this model the more I realize how deep it actually goes. Like a transition from orange to green is not a small lifestyle change. You might do a lot of green stuff while not being green at all. Meaning/value/purpose are extremely tied to your spiral dynamic stage for instance. So yeah it's a very common trap to believe you're yellow or this or that because you had some personnal development under your belt and you have a little perspective but at 15 c'mon you're a baby even in the maslow hierarchy of needs.
  13. @el_duderino Have you ever done any psychedelics previous to that experience ? Also, wouldn't you be able to do bufo two or three times ?
  14. Why is that that sometimes meaninglessness is so positive (aka I'm free to be and to do w/e I want) and sometimes so negative and horrifying ? How did you transcend that ?
  15. This often triggers me quite a lot because it's completely unfair. If you ever re-marry use prenuptial agreements, those should be thought at school. Try to find legal solutions to fix this in the long run if you can. Aside from that, several tips : don't try to start too many things at once ! Focus on the most important stuff. Too many changes no matter how good they seem lead to ego backslash. Sending you a lot of support mate !
  16. @Nagma Gingko and radhiola are both MAOI and maybe shouldn't be taken together. Check that just to be careful. Ciltep well you need to try it out Panax ginseng is the most stimulating, radhiola is bot average on stimulation/relaxation and ashwagandha is relaxing. Your call I've been recommended to take ginseng in the morning, radhiola at noon and ashwagandha in the evening. So far Ash + radhiola work great and even have a synergistic effect for me.
  17. Honestly I just wish I never watched this video.. I mean this basically equals living forever and suffering forever if you were to re-live again as every person and living thing that ever existed. I'll live as my girlfriend, as my mother, as my father, as this or that, as this girl that broke up with me, just that's too much man. And you would have to do all the self-actualization work again too ! I mean It's hard enough to succeed in ONE lifetime you're telling me I'll have to do this forever !? @Serotoninluv Is there any silver lining in this ? I got quite depressed thinking about this and this suffering forever. And here I was all happy about spirituality.
  18. @YaMayka I've had it since Teal Swan's recommendation and it's quite amazing. Never put it to work though I'm too orange yet to really be able to apply this advice.
  19. Deep work and the dangers of technology. One of the things Cal Newport mentions in deep work is that the drawbacks of using social media such as facebook are huge : Technology is extremely dangerous. Social media is extremely dangerous. Addiction to internet and to distraction is actually as real as ever and it's horrible. Try to not use your phone and your computer for several day's straight. Or simply not using the internet until 8pm. If you even manage to do it, you're gonna feel a dopamine high. Internet addiction and technology addiction are not subtle. Those are extremely real. The danger comes from distractions (anything useless relative to deep work which requires focus) which are seen as so common they are not something you do but just something that happens to you. Don't let the internet happen to you. Don't let facebook or any social media happen to you. Eliminate it if you don't need it. Right now as a general rule I'm not using the internet until 8 pm on my working days. I'll upgrade this further by using facebook only on sunday or something and destroying every useless app on my phone. Watch out and also deep work deserves 10/10. It actually changed my entire life.
  20. The issue is not the pills themselves but your reaction to it. For instance, take this example of a women in Singapour : https://www.hsa.gov.sg/content/hsa/en/News_Events/Press_Releases/2018/modafinilskinreactions.html it is indeed very rare but it can be a life threatening condition. It's discussed in-depth on longecity also : https://www.longecity.org/forum/topic/54186-modafinil-induced-skin-rashsjs/ I know I'm most likely hypocondriac for nothing but damnit I never expected something like this when talking about some "rare skin rashes". Therefore my question of how you can know if it would trigger SJS or something as bad without having to take the jump and rushing at the hospital after the first little rash you see
  21. Several questions : 1) Can we discuss sourcing modafinil ? 2) How can you test if you're allergic to modafinil/armodafinil without taking it orally ? Like make some red skin and rub a bit on it or something ? Or on the inside of your lip ? I read in very rare cases it can give you severe rashes and even if those are really small it can be very dangerous. 3) Is there any test for purity for your modafinil and should you test every batch before you take it as with possibly dangerous psychedelics ? @omTom Thanks !
  22. What brands did you use ?
  23. @Leo Gura What do you think about Tim Ferris opinion that there is no free biological meal ? That you're burning some ressources faster and the short term benefits do not outweight the long term costs ?
