  1. @CreativeInertia Do you answer the questions honestly, or do you feel like you have to say the "right" answers? Thanks for the insights.
  2. @CreativeInertia This is the sedona method. I love the idea of it, but how were you able to integrate it into your life?
  3. @Peace and Love I know it is sad. There are people from all different perspectives and places here. Don't lump us all together. Body image issues are a legitimate epidemic in our society. And mental health issues are on the rise for young girls. It really is a giant issue. You are not over reacting. Don't leave us peace and love! Or at least tell me what forum you migrate to and I'll tag along.
  4. @Saba This is literally all you need. No need to spend money on a therapist unless you are in a very very serious situation (or you just want to) (turn off audio)
  5. @Saba something that I have heard about for performance anxiety, but haven't used myself, is EMDR. Might be worth looking into. I think you can apply it yourself. If you research it online you may run into some information that cautions against using it yourself. But it is literally just moving your eyes back and forth and imprinting new emotions and beliefs (affirmation/positive cognitions) It is a legit therapy. Good luck! I wish you the best!
  6. I haven't gone this deep in some time because I have been focused on other things. But one time I was probably the deepest I had ever been in a meditation, I started seeing a golden spiral of light entering my forehead. It was so vivid that I started to get spooked. And as I got spooked the spiral started to waver and I couldn't hold my concentration then a serpent made out of red light appeared and came at me. The serpent was to symbolize fear. I didn't understand it at the time, but it was a fear test. It was a metaphor that I could understand. It wasn't a literal serpent.
  7. @cetus56 Things get pretty weird if you go down the Tom Campbell road.
  8. @cetus56 "blew the chance" is too fatalistic. Apparently you can do it on command if you practice enough. You will have many many more chances if it is something you want, If fear and ego doesn't derail you.
  9. @cetus56 Not saying that this is for sure true, but Tom Campbell would describe that black void as the "void state" an important first step to doing all sorts of things with your consciousness. And he would describe the ugly face as a fear test to see if you are ready to go further. Might be worth checking out his material. He has a youtube channel and books. Are you familiar with his work?
  10. Just watched this video and had a pretty powerful shift. It wasn't apparent at first. I started using Leo's Contemplation exercise in conjunction with the exercise in this video, then I had the breakthrough experience of realizing that soooooooo many things bother me. So many things that it was almost a fog. paraphrase: "When you say something bothers you, you think you are in a place of power and righteousness. In reality you in a place of weakness and are being controlled. You are giving your power over to the external world and letting these things control you."
  11. "If it's not your experience, it's not your truth. If it is your experience it is your truth." - Tom Campbell
  12. to me the most attractive thing in the world is a genuine smile
  13. Leo's just released inquiry video and his lies video are great compliments to this topic.
  14. @Callum A I love the way you communicate to reality in your posts, and reality communicates back. It tends to work that way in my experience. I don't do it enough.
  15. @Prabhaker He literally was a drug addict. He was addicted to meth.
  16. @Natasha I was raised catholic and took it seriously as a child. I was a smart child and thought deeply about hell, the ten commandments, Noah, etc. My grandmother was devoutly catholic that reinforced it as well. Then at a relatively young age I fully embraced scientific materialism and skepticism. I threw out all religious and spiritual ideas. Then this experience happened and I slowly went from being atheist, to being agnostic, to being a full blown mystic. I've seen plenty of "miracles" along the way to reinforce this path. And my ego has gone kicking and screaming. I can't say what is right for anyone else. but, for me I'm really glad I'm not a catholic and I'm really glad that I am not an atheist. This divine love was what I never knew I always wanted. It filled me in a way nothing else ever had. How is it that an atheist got into the kingdom of heaven?
  17. @Natasha Ok you are going to laugh at me for not thinking it was Jesus, but the being looked almost exactly like this video freeze framed at the 1:45 mark. The head was bowed and the eyes were closed exactly like the man in this video. Except there was no human skin tone. The whole being was radiating light. He was wearing white too.
  18. @OBEler @Echoes Tom Campbell describes the name obe as a misnomer. A useful description in the early days, but in his model you are not actually leaving your body. You are " switching data streams". Fascinating stuff. I've never willed an "obe" it is a long term goal of mine, but I am secretly terrified of it.
  19. @Peace and Love Yeah I have cars and stuff around me, and for my brain or whatever the difference between having ear plus and no earplugs is the difference between feeling uncomfortable and feeling at peace. It is an interesting thing I have been noticing about myself lately.
  20. @Peace and Love I've just started the practice of doing a walking meditation outdoors, while using earplugs to block out all sounds, and I must say it is very very beautiful. I used to listen to music always, but sound reducing ear plugs gives this very nice silence effect.
  21. @Peace and Love teach me oh relationship guru, for I am very ignorant in this area of life.
  22. @The Universe If you try to experience them you will find that they are real.
  23. hey @Peace and Love are you going to play breath of the wild?
