A genuine insight is self-validating. Consider the Eureka! moment of Archimedes. You find it. It’s a insight. Or an Apple falls on your head — gravity! Otherwise you confuse what an insight is with some intellectual process, like becoming convinced. -
@JayySur fellow psycho! Haha. @Max8 it means our egos are way too honest, lie a little once in a while. Aim for 0% in both categories.

@Blackhawk it can happen in an instant, that’s the goal. It is always instant. Consider Maharshi’s case. -
2hrs 40mins paid work? What do you do? Is it a golden one?

AL-LAD, an LSD analogue. Great for newbies. It produces a pleasant and smooth experience, gentler than LSD. Also magic truffles of a low-intensity mushroom, like Tampanensis Atlantis. Always start with a low dose and gradually go up from there. Gain more experience with other psychedelics before trying 5meo. No rush. -

@Leo Gura isn’t ontology more fundamental than metaphysics and epistemology? What is is prior to knowledge or even “reality”. In contemplation, what we are basically doing is asking an ontology question: “What is X?” Right? So, with that wider use, why don’t you emphasize it? -

Buddha wanted to transcend life and death. That was his main focus. The suffering part? I mean… he could have been motivated to pursue awakening by suffering, but freedom from life and death is, I’d say, was his real “purpose”. Of course it turns out that in order to transcend something you msut first get deeply conscious of what that is. But really, with complete awakening, focusing on suffering sounds like empathy for other people so that they can focus on pragmatic matters, et al. -

Mmm. I don’t know. But be careful: make a distinction between believing Leo because it sounds good vs being genuinely conscious of its nature. It seems like many people believe it and try to defend that belief without really knowing what it is. Intuition from what I read, I may of course be wrong, but still… smells like most are just believing - whether it is X or Y, absolute or not. I in fact caught myself believing that love is relative withoout direct experience. -

Oh shit, September 6th? Looks like it. See Community in the interviewer’s channel. I thought it was today. Sad face -
In 2016-17 he said: Toyota Matrix.

Not consciousness but awareness or cognition. -

You seem to be referring to information overload, not knowledge. Notice you “know” many things that are often overlooked; they operate in the background. When you look at an apple, your mind instantly interprets it as “Apple” and “red” and “delicious”, etc. This “knowledge” does not cause any sort of mental/physical problem. Monkey mind does. Also, it sounds like your problem is more emotional — stress-related. Exercise and meditation should help. What you are referring to as knowledge (internal dialogue, beliefs, learning) has power, since that domain determines your thoughts and behaviors. If you “know” (hold a belief that) you’re capable, that will influence your perception, thoughts, relationship and thus behavior relative to yourself, life and others. So in that domain, knowledge can be powerful both for the positive (inspiring, empowering) and for the negative (dangerous, misunderstood). Another form of knowledge is consciousness. Which is what should be pursued. It is always positive and in the direction of what’s true. This is what’s lacking. The only danger is lacking consciousness. -
Figure out your interests. Whatever those are, study them, contemplate them. You’ll stumble upon something or find what you want to devote your life to (if that’s your concern). First, realize that intellectually trying to decide what’s best is doomed to fail. You can be constantly comparing and second-guessing yourself. Do stuff. Experiment. Test. Practice. Once you find a field or activity or subject you like, throw yourself into it -- that is, master it. To get you out of your mind, consider that basically a job’s purpose (for the individual) is for her/him to make a living. We’re both the same age, I keep falling into the same trap.

Hype and marketing, I guess. -
Being ignorant of one's own foolishness - applies to pretty much everyone. So probably you're not. First you've got to know yourself. I know I know, boring stuff. But do you? Wisdom is developing the ability to think in paradoxes. I heard that definition somewhere.
