Buddhism is a belief system, and models are not true. Truth is a pathless land, as Krishnamurti said. It can, however, help to study different traditions. You can get guidance and inspiration, but don’t get stuck in any one of them. Honesty is one of the most powerful tools, not belief. -
Sexy list, stage yellow. Thanks.

Maybe anxiety, poor sleep, excessive internet/devices use. Training your brain is useful. Read books for long stretches of time with no interruptions. Fasting, dopamine detox, etc. Build up your concentration. Reduce distractions. Sleep well. Eat very clean. Relax. Exercise. I sympathize with your situation. Going through something similar. -
Boredom is arrogance. It’s assuming you have everything figured out. This prevents openness. Just a consideration.

@Thought Art better not to start, but once you do, it’s best to finish.

Showing oneself vulnerable will be considered as a weakness by many, no matter what. Perhaps it’s wiser not to open oneself up around close-minded, immature people. The point is, you’re open and the rest (how they look at you, etc.) is up to others. You can be vulnerable and confident. Consider that so-called strong people are afraid of showing themselves vulnerable. It’s a mask, useful in the domain of social survival as a manipulative mechanism. On the other hand, it’s deeply uncomfortable being vulnerable, and requires huge amounts of awareness, courage, and maturity. Classic dilemma: Being authentic, open and honest, or; Faking stuff in order to get the lollipop (validation, acceptance, admiration, getting others to think of you the way you want them to, etc.) The former may be challenging while the latter much easier and effective for collecting lollipops. But then again, the former will increase your integrity, confidence, self-steem, vitality, and presence over time.

@Thought Art What he thinks of as himself will be recognized as fundamentally false. That’s my take.

The more popular the content, the less honest, generally speaking. For example, take a look at Leo’s content over the years. His deepest, most authentic content isn't as popular as the more pragmatic, superficial videos. In business: How do you balance between authenticity and using hype and superficiality? What are some effective principles you follow in your business? How would you market and sell content that is profound, authentic and raw without sacrificing its spirit or substance? My issue seems to boil down to communication vs manipulation.

@HypnoticMagician Each has a different purpose. Yes, I see. @flume @vindicated eruditeBookmarked for future reference, thanks. Interesting approach. That seems to be what Leo has been doing with this site from the beginning. That's one way to look at its evolution.

Can relate. Exactly! Do you know of any good resources about this topic? How would you do that? They seem to contradict each other.
-
Any lessons you could share from your previous channels? The dilemma seems to lie in being loyal to the truth of the content itself without catering to people’s gullibility and desires as they currently are.

@Average Investor Thanks, some fresh perspective there. I'd try writing, podcasting and video making.

I mean, yes. However, what turns me off the most is not their ignorance itself, but their unwillingness to admit it and to learn new things, which I guess is part of the ignorance. For me, it’s about their general close-minded attitude and their mindset towards honesty and learning.

What do you mean? What changed?

Contemplation is setting out to experience whatever is true. Mental masturbation leads you nowhere — it has no goal. -
Believing is irrelevant. Become conscious of what’s true for yourself, God or no God.

Same name than his theory… Here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/ctmurealitytheory/ I was looking into the person, not his theory — whatever it is isn’t true. He may be smart; my intuition tells me he’s not deeply conscious at all, though. I could be wrong, of course. -

Seems stage blue. They were bashing Leo in their Facebook group with nonsense.
